Chapter 201: Completely Ruined
The Xiao Family began to fight amongst themselves.
Liu Loulan was frantic, but she found she could no longer control the Xiao Family.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ming went home for a visit, only to be beaten by Liu Loulan again.
He quickly found a chance to escape and swore he would never go back.
He sat in a bar, feeling dejected.
Having no followers around left a bitter taste in Xiao Ming's mouth.
Just then, someone walked over.
Xiao Ming raised an eyebrow when he saw her. "Shishi, what are you doing here?"
"I invited you over the other day, but who knew... the young master of the Ouyang Family showed up too. You know my hands are tied; I'm not important enough to do anything."
"Today, I heard from my friends that you were here, so I came especially to apologize."
Shishi finished speaking, sat down beside him, and skillfully pulled out a cigarette case. She offered one to Xiao Ming. "I am truly sorry, Young Master Xiao."
"Why don't you... come to my place tonight?"
Xiao Ming was instantly intrigued. Everyone knew that for years, Shishi had flitted between countless men but had never actually let any of them stay the night.
Wasn't her unattainability precisely why so many men were captivated by her?
'I can't believe it,' he thought. 'The legendary socialite's first time will be mine!'
"Alright! Let's go!"
Shishi smiled and lit his cigarette.
The cigarette tasted different from what he was used to, carrying a strange, sweet scent.
But Xiao Ming didn't think much of it. 'Maybe Shishi prepared it herself,' he mused. 'Plenty of women like to add those scented crush beads to cigarettes.'
'This one's probably the same!'
After finishing the cigarette, Xiao Ming felt a wave of euphoria wash over him, as if his entire body was floating.
'This feeling... it's amazing!'
Shishi tossed the unlit cigarette in her hand to the floor, crushed it under her heel, and then waved over a few men.
"Come, help me get Young Master Xiao into the car."
Soon, the two of them arrived at Lili's residence.
She laid Xiao Ming on the guest room bed and stripped off all his clothes.
Shishi brought a glass of water and made Xiao Ming drink it.
Before long, Xiao Ming was clutching the blankets and beginning to writhe in a manner not suitable for children.
Shishi frowned in disgust, then stood up and left the room.
Before she left, however, she didn't forget to toss her coat on the floor to create the impression of a frantic, passionate encounter.
「The next morning.」
Xiao Ming slowly opened his eyes to see Shishi lying beside him.
She was so beautiful. And last night... last night had felt absolutely incredible.
Just then, Shishi "woke up." She smiled as she sat up, handing him a glass of warm water and... a cigarette.
"Young Master Xiao, how are you feeling?"
"Fantastic." Xiao Ming took a drag from the cigarette without a second thought. It had the same strange, sweet scent as the one from yesterday.
"What do you put in these cigarettes? Why do they smell so good?"
"Just a little something special, it's nothing." Shishi took out a pack, but there were only a few cigarettes left. "Young Master Xiao, if you like them, you can have the rest."
"They're a special blend. You can't buy them anywhere else."
"Alright, then." Xiao Ming hadn't wanted to take them. He was the great Young Master Xiao; as if he couldn't afford a pack of cigarettes?
But when he saw Shishi's adoring expression, he found it very satisfying and immediately accepted.
「For the next two days.」
Shishi kept Xiao Ming wrapped around her finger, and he lost himself in her tender embrace.
On the third day, Liu Loulan's men finally found him and brought him back to the Xiao Family estate.
Xiao Ye stepped into the villa. Shishi was cleaning, and all the windows had been thrown open.
"Master Xiao, you're here. I followed your instructions and leaked Xiao Ming's location. Just as you said, the Xiao Family came and took him away."
If Shishi hadn't deliberately done so, it probably would have taken the Xiao Family much longer to find Xiao Ming.
Xiao Ye nodded. "Well done. Get ready. I expect Xiao Ming will be looking for you tonight."
"Don't worry, Master Xiao. I know what to do. Now that Xiao Ming is hooked on that stuff, he's completely finished!"
「The Xiao Family Estate.」
Xiao Ming faced Liu Loulan and mumbled reluctantly, "Mother..."
"Kneel!"
Liu Loulan was furious. She was here putting out fires for the Xiao Family, and what was he doing? Running around and fooling off!
"I'm already blind! I don't have much longer to live, and you're still running off! You unfilial son!"
Liu Loulan raised her hand to strike him again, but this time Xiao Ming dodged.
"Mother, it's not like I can do anything about your poison! I can't help you at all. I left so I wouldn't get in the way!"
Liu Loulan's chest heaved. How could she have given birth to such a monster!
She had raised him herself since he was a child, only to end up with an ungrateful wolf!
"I'm your own mother!"
"So what? Does being my mother give you the right to hit and curse me whenever you want? You've never treated me like a son! I'm just a tool in your hands!"
With that, Xiao Ming quickly fled.
He ran back to his room and locked the door.
He didn't want to go out and face those detestable people.
Xiao Ming collapsed onto his bed and fell asleep. By the time he woke, it was already afternoon.
He felt a deep-seated discomfort throughout his body and craved a cigarette.
He fumbled open the nightstand drawer and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, but for some reason, it just didn't feel right.
'No, this isn't the right taste!'
'Shishi! I need Shishi's cigarettes!'
Xiao Ming frantically called Shishi. "Where are your cigarettes? Get me another pack! Wait... what the hell did you put in them?"
"Good stuff, of course. Don't worry, Young Master Xiao. This thing might be addictive, but it's not harmful to your body."
"It's the latest model. Besides, with the Xiao Family's wealth, you can certainly afford it, can't you?"
"That way, your body will be fine, and you still get to feel that blissful euphoria. Isn't that great?"
Xiao Ming was in agony and couldn't be bothered to argue with Shishi. "Hurry up and get the cigarettes to me!"
He gave her the address.
A short while later, a servant brought him a pack of cigarettes.
With trembling hands, Xiao Ming pulled one out. He took a drag and an immediate sense of relief washed over his entire body.
At that exact moment, having received a tip from Xiao Ye, several members of the Xiao Family arrived outside Xiao Ming's room.
Using a legitimate-sounding excuse, they opened the door directly.
Xiao Ming was lost in his haze, completely unaware that anyone had entered.
One of the family members strode forward and snatched the cigarette from Xiao Ming's hand. "What do you think you're doing?!"
Xiao Ming whipped his head around to glare at him. 'I wasn't finished yet!'
"Give it back!"
"This is no time for smoking!"
"Give it back to me!"
Xiao Ming roared, his expression twisting into a ferocious snarl.
"You..."
Xiao Ming lunged to grab it back and hastily took another deep drag.
"Wait, something's wrong with him! Quick, get that cigarette away from him!"
With the cigarette gone, Xiao Ming started to freak out again.
The men had to pin him down on the bed.
"Look at him! Something is obviously wrong!"
"Damn it... he hasn't gotten into that stuff, has he?"
