Xiao Ye walked out of the restroom.
Chu Yan immediately went up to him and said bluntly, "I think something might have happened to Lin Chuyue."
The color instantly drained from Xiao Ye's face. "What's going on?"
"I don't have the specifics yet. Lin Aoshan called and said he couldn't get in touch with Lin Chuyue. I've already sent people to look for her."
Just as Chu Yan finished speaking, her phone rang.
She answered, and her brow furrowed. "This is bad. Lin Chuyue went to the Zunlong Clubhouse!"
"And she hasn't been seen since she went in."
"The person who invited her was Ding Qi."
Hearing that name, Xiao Ye knew this was serious. "Take me there!"

Black Dragon was yanking Lin Chuyue's long hair, forcing her to tilt her head back.

Behind the closed door, Lin Chuyue was pinned to the sofa, her clothes in disarray.

Black Dragon cursed in pain. Lin Chuyue was biting down hard on his right hand.
Lin Chuyue refused to let go; she was determined to bite off a piece of his flesh, even if it killed her.
Xiao Ye said nothing, simply walking to the door.

He kicked the private room door open, and that was the scene that greeted him.
Before Black Dragon could even look up, Xiao Ye's foot slammed into his neck!

The kick snapped Black Dragon's head halfway around. He fell in stunned silence, not making a sound.
He wasn't breathing anymore!
Lin Chuyue was in shock, gasping for breath, the taste of blood filling her mouth.
Xiao Ye rushed to pull her into his arms. "It's okay. Don't be afraid. I'm here."
The tension that had kept Lin Chuyue coiled tight finally snapped the moment she felt Xiao Ye's strong arms around her.
Tears of guilt streamed down her face. "Xiao Ye, I... I'm sorry. I was wrong about you!"
"If I... if I had listened to you, this... this wouldn't have happened..."
Her choked sobs made Xiao Ye's heart ache.
He gently wiped away her tears. "Don't be afraid. It's all over. You need to get some sleep."

After speaking, Xiao Ye raised his hand and pressed a pressure point on Lin Chuyue, causing her to fall unconscious.
The beautiful, distressed woman fell weakly into his arms, fast asleep.

She looked over at Liu Dan, who was trying to escape, and slapped her across the face. "Trying to run?"

"Bitch, you're asking to die!"

Outside the window was a sprawling lake view and a quiet, forested mountain.
The entire room was decorated with luxurious yet understated taste.
"Where is this...?"
"You're awake."
Xiao Ye came in through the door, carrying a glass of warm water. "Don't be afraid. Everything is alright now."
Lin Chuyue's eyes glazed over for a moment. Remembering everything that had happened before she passed out, she couldn't help but shudder.
"I'm sorry, Xiao Ye."
"I was so stupid before. I was wrong about you."
