Jiang Mu tried to suppress it again, only to find his Divine Abilities were on cooldown. He immediately raised his saber and closed the distance, the Blood River True Qi within his Dantian surging frantically into the blade.

The Pig Demon Leader let out a furious roar and took great strides, thundering toward Jiang Mu like a runaway war chariot.

Jiang Mu’s saber and the shark-tooth blade crashed together violently.

He felt a violent jolt in the webbing of his hand as an immense force sent him sliding back several yards.

’It’s nothing like that tricky Horse Demon from before.’

Jiang Mu didn’t dare to clash head-on, instead using the Spirit Snake Body Step to weave around it. He combined this with his Instant Teleportation Divine Ability and his Magical Treasure Fan, now appearing behind the Pig Demon for a surprise attack, now flashing to its flank to land a strike.

However, though the Pig Demon looked clumsy, its reactions were extremely fast, and its thick layer of fat served as natural armor.

His blade, empowered by Blood River True Qi, could only sink an inch into its flesh, failing to inflict a mortal wound.

At the same time, two other early-stage Tier Five demons outflanked him, coordinating with the Pig Demon Leader to encircle Jiang Mu.

They were a Falcon Demon and a Mandrill Demon.

In an instant, Jiang Mu was caught in a siege by three Tier Five demons.

The Pig Demon Leader’s strength was terrifying, its Saber Skill wide and powerful. The Falcon Demon was incredibly fast, its talons and beak razor-sharp, focusing its attacks on his upper body. The Mandrill Demon was agile, its claws laced with deadly poison, harassing his lower body.

From time to time, his Blood River True Qi would erupt, unleashing sharp Saber Qi in counterattacks.

But against three Tier Five demons, especially a powerful foe like the Pig Demon Leader at the Great Perfection stage, he was clearly at a disadvantage, facing one perilous situation after another.

The Pig Demon Leader grew anxious, unable to land a decisive blow after so long.

Jiang Mu wanted to use Instant Teleportation to get over there but was tied down by the Pig Demon Leader and the Falcon Demon.

The Mandrill Demon was even more insidious, blocking his potential Instant Teleportation destinations.

The sound echoed through the night sky.

A second passed, then another...

Just as the Pig Demon thought the kid had gone mad and was shouting nonsense, a faint, mysterious fragrance suddenly drifted through the air.

It was followed by a mature, charming, and languid voice that seemed to whisper right next to Jiang Mu’s ear:

"Why did you call for me, little one?"

"Could it be... you’ve finally come around?"

Although the voice was right beside him, Jiang Mu glanced around but saw no one.

Struggling to fend off the three demons, Jiang Mu gritted his teeth and said coldly:

"I accept your condition!"

"Help me kill this Pig Demon! Right now! Immediately! Can you do it?!"

"Oh?"

Ji Hongyuan’s voice was playful. "Are you really willing... to let me take a little sip?"

"Cut the crap!"

Jiang Mu narrowly dodged the Pig Demon’s sweep, but the Falcon Demon’s claw left a bloody gash on his shoulder. He snapped,

"As long as you kill this Pig Demon and break this siege, I will fulfill my promise. A real man never goes back on his word!

But I expect you to keep your word as well. Just take my aura, not my life!"

"Fine! I’ll trust you this one time."

"SWOOSH!"

As the woman’s voice fell, the ground in front of Jiang Mu exploded.

A tall, slender, golden-red figure, like a red lotus blooming in purgatory, materialized out of thin air between Jiang Mu and the Pig Demon.

Her back was to Jiang Mu.

Her high-slit, golden-red dress billowed in the wind. She wore a pair of exquisite, crescent-moon platform shoes, and her long, black-silk-clad legs seemed to shimmer in the darkness.

Her jet-black hair cascaded down to her waist like a waterfall.

Even from just her back, her powerful aura, which seemed to look down on all creation, made the very air around her feel as if it had frozen.

The Zombie Queen, Ji Hongyuan!

The woman lifted her pale wrist, her orchid-like fingers waving casually at a few low-tier demons pouncing toward her.

"SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT!"

The bodies of those few demons instantly disintegrated, turning into a sky-filling mist of blood and flesh.

"They’re all yours!"

Seeing this, Jiang Mu didn’t hesitate for a second. He used Instant Teleportation to leave that side of the battlefield and sped toward Xu Fu.

The Pig Demon Leader stared at the woman who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, stunned for a moment. A flash of shock and suspicion crossed its eyes.
