Chapter 33: The Soato village

Ari gently pinched Ferine’s chin as he leaned closer.

She gasped. Curling her fingers against his chest, she closed her eyes in anticipation.

Ari grinned. He could not resist the adorable Elf’s charm any longer.

The moment he kissed her soft lips, an intoxicating heat rose in his chest. Ari felt his desires amplify as a wave of euphoria swept through his body.

‘Isn’t this?’

Affected by similar sensations within her, Ferine deepened their kiss, halting Ari’s thoughts.

As her tongue caressed his, the heat expanded from their chests to their necks and abdomens, heightening their kiss.

Ari instinctively reached for the supreme suppleness pressed against his chest.

Low moans escaped Ferine’s mouth as Ari’s hands memorised every inch of her incredibly voluptuous chest, his touch making her body quiver.

Ari got lost in the overwhelmingly soft and springy sensations, but he craved more. The desire to feel her bare skin against his hands and body became too irresistible to suppress.

Ferine offered zero resistance as his fingers moved masterfully, removing her clothes and underwear without disrupting their rhythm.

The heat expanded to their faces and pelvis, amplifying their passionate kiss beyond reason.

Ari squeezed Ferine’s plump butt as he lifted, and positioned her against his waist.

She melted into his embrace, wrapping her legs around him and locking them in place.

Ari carried her to the bed and placed her on her back.

He backed away for a moment to appreciate the mesmerising view of a gorgeous, voluptuous Elf laying naked beneath him.

With a flushed face, shallow breath, and longing gaze, Ferine’s expression looked incredibly seductive.

Ari couldn’t hold back any longer; however, Ferine moved faster.

She adjusted her pelvis and reached below his waist, causing his manhood to twitch in anticipation.

Suddenly, her eyes widened like saucers, and she immediately retracted her hands.

“W-Wait! We...we can’t,” she exclaimed, struggling to get the words out.

“Why not? Do you not want to?” Ari asked with a look of confusion.

Ferine shook her head. “No, that’s not it. I apologise, any more than this would get me in trouble.”

“What do you mean?”

Ferine steadied her breathing, but the desire in her eyes had yet to fade.

“You…have to meet with the Matriarch first.”

“The Matriarch? What does that have to do with this?”

Ferine’s lips parted to respond, but she ended up not saying anything.

Noticing her troubled expression, Ari relented. He didn’t want to create any unnecessary problems for her.

It was clear that she wanted to continue, but couldn’t.

He sighed. “It’s unfortunate, but I understand.”

“Another time, then.”

Ferine nodded eagerly.

Ari got off the bed and sat on the edge, facing the door.

He sighed. ‘I need to clear my mind.’

He thought back to the moment he kissed Ferine.

The sensations and desire accompanying the heat felt familiar. It was similar to Descendant of Aphrodite, but not quite.

Ari was surprised by it at first, but quickly guessed where the heat came from and embraced it.

Seeing Ferine have similar reactions to him, confirmed his suspicions.

‘It’s the Great Malen-Soato again... Was it intentional, or an effect of the blessing?’

Ferine got off the bed and collected her underwear and clothing.

She felt his gaze and glanced over her shoulder.

She flashed a wry smile and turned around.

‘You’re not making this easy...”

“You must be starving, I’ll bring you some food.’

‘Right, it’s about time I asked.’

“Ferine.”

“Yes?”

“It’s a little late, but would you mind explaining how I ended up here?”

“Yes, of course.”

After Ari collapsed, Ferine brought him to the village where they noticed abnormal fluctuations in his mana flow, accompanied by an extremely high fever and what sounded like cardiac arrest.

The Soato villagers who specialised in healing magic, managed to stabilise his mana flow, which in turn, helped reduce his body temperature.

As for his heart, they used a secret technique to prevent it from exploding.

Ari’s mind reeled. He had no idea that things had gotten that dangerous.

'What the hell did she do to me?'

“Then I brought you to my home for recovery,” Ferine said, drawing his attention.

‘Ah, I thought that floral scent smelt familiar.’

“Four days have passed since then.”

“That long? Damn. I’m sorry, Ferine.”

Ferine tilted her head in confusion. “Why are you apologising?”

"I took over your bed for four days, it must have been very inconvenient for you.”

"It was my decision. Besides, the bed is large enough for the both of us, so there was no problem at all," she replied nonchalantly.

‘Wait, what?’

Ari felt a strange feeling welling up inside him, like a persistent itch in a hard-to-reach place.

He had the holy grail of fantasy anime women sharing a bed with him for the past few nights, and was none the wiser.

How cruel.

Ari wondered how it was possible for her to share a bed with a naked stranger, but decided that dwelling on the matter would only make him feel worse.

“Is that so?”

He delivered a smile that made Ferine take half a step towards him.

“Then, thank you for taking care of me,” he said. “Oh, and for bringing me to the village, it must have been rough carrying me around.”

“I-It was my pleasure,” she replied.

“And it was no trouble at all. My privileges as an Elen-Gota allowed me to travel to the village swiftly.”

“An Elen-Gota?”

“That is my sworn duty. I am a protector of the Malen Forest and Inner Garden.”

Ferine explained that the title of Elen-Gota came with some perks that allowed them to respond to dangers within the forest at a moment’s notice.

Elen-Gota have the ability to tap into the magic of The Great Malen-Soato to traverse the nearly one million acres or “Qat” of forest in little to no time at all.

‘So that explains it.’

Ari nodded.

“I would like to thank the villagers who tended to me when I arrived. Would that be possible?”

“Yes, of course. I will inform the Matriarch when I take you to meet her.”

‘Right, the Matriarch. I have to thank her properly, too. I’m sure she had a hand in saving my life.’

‘And then there’s the Orc invasion...’

Ferine brought Ari some delicious butternut soup with fresh bread before she left to get his armour.

Ari devoured the soup instantly. He slept for four days; only when the aroma hit his nostrils did he realise how hungry he was.

Fortunately, Ferine prepared an entire pot, so he happily enjoyed it while waiting for her to return.

After some time, Ferine returned with a bright red silk robe and some leather sandals.

The robe looked similar to a kaftan robe, which he found rather strange considering where he was, but the fabric felt like clouds on his skin so he had nothing to complain about.

As for the sandals, they were quite comfortable, though definitely not suitable for long distances.

Ferine informed Ari that repairs and enhancements were being made to his armour, but more time would be needed to finish.

The villagers were in the process of adding the finishing touches when he regained consciousness.

The pair left Ferine’s cosy garden cottage behind and headed towards the central village.

The Soato village was comprised of numerous cottages and buildings, all varying in shape, size and even the material used for its construction.

Some were made entirely from wood, while others were made from stone and had thatched roofing.

They had luscious gardens filled with all types of vegetables, many of which he had never seen before.

Rows of giant trees lined various boundaries of the village, separating them from the rest of the forest.

‘There’s no way, right?’

While walking through the village, Ari noticed the strangest thing.

There were no male Elves.

At a glance, it appeared as though the Soato village was comprised of only women.

All of them appeared to be in their early twenties, fair-skinned with blonde hair of various lengths.

They wore different clothing to that of Ferine, but it didn't make their voluptuous figures less noticeable.

Ari fought the urge to ask Ferine about the Soato population, as silly as it may seem.

He wanted to maintain the illusion that he was the only man around, at least until he met with the Matriarch.

Ari felt the gazes of the villagers as they observed him with keen interest.

It didn’t surprise him.

His arrival at the village likely caused quite the commotion, but more than anything, he was an outsider.

Gossip and intrigue were to be expected.

More importantly, he loved the undivided attention

Ferine led Ari through the village until they reached a magnificent waterfall.

The Matriarch's home was located near the waterfall, nestled amongst the trees.

‘An Elven tree house!’

Ari cursed his luck up to that point. Since none of the other buildings in the village were tree houses, he wondered whether he would ever get the opportunity to see one in person.

It had a modest appearance, with numerous large windows strategically positioned for optimal viewing of the waterfall and the surrounding area.

Ari found it fitting for a Matriarch of an Elven tribe.

Ferine walked ahead of him as his escort.

They walked up an elegant winding staircase to reach the large deck above.

While ascending the staircase, Ari heard the faint creak of a door opening, followed by what sounded like brisk footsteps on the deck heading towards them.

"It appears that Lady Amlerythe could not contain her eagerness," Ferine remarked in a playful tone.

She looked back at Ari and smiled wryly.

'So that's her name… Lady Amlerythe.'

"Greetings, Lady Amlerythe."

"Greetings, Ferine. Are you well?"

"I am. Have you been waiting at the door from the moment you obtained word of our arrival?"

"Hehe. Of course not, that would be unbefitting."

The two of them immediately started a conversation, which was more casual than Ari expected it to be.

The sound of the Matriarch’s voice was inexplicably charming.

When he reached the top of the staircase, Ari did his best not to repeat the reaction he had when he first met Salandrias.

Bewitching Sapphire-blue eyes with platinum blonde hair that nearly reached her elbows.

She wore an embroidered corset with a plunge neckline that not only matched her eyes but also highlighted her supernaturally luscious figure.

She paired it with a white form-fitting knee-length skirt while leaving her feet bare.

She smiled seductively as her eyes devoured every part of his body.

She was in a league of her own. By far, the most beautiful of all the Soato Elves he had seen.
