The Evolution of the Weakest Ghoul

A shockwave spread around as the Orcs nearby had their expressions changed.

Thud!

The body fell onto the ground as a human with bones coating his fist was seen.

At this moment, even with the Peak Transcendent Realm, he felt like a Sovereign Realm as he easily killed other Peak Transcendent Orcs.

The veteran soldiers and the new soldiers were stunned.

Was this how powerful an adventurer was?

Dodging a massive hammer by an Orc, his palm shot forward as he broke the head of the Orc. He raised his arm as a fast sword descended.

Ronan’s feet sank a few inches into the ground, showing the immense force of the attack, as the sword broke into pieces.

Then Ronan moved as the ground beneath his feet broke apart. His knee broke apart as bones covered it.

His knee hit the Orc’s head as the head was violently moved to the back, and the neck broke.

Seeing the system notification, Ronan got more aggressive as he killed more and more Orcs.

The soldiers were in awe of his terrifying killing speed, while the Orcs were terrified.

His Bloodlust Trait also grew from Lv.3 to 4 to 7.

The more it increased, the more his bone density increased. The heavier he was, yet he was fast. He moved nimbly, his extra weight increasing the force of his attacks, and at this point, he could cover his entire body with newly grown bones.

But it seemed Ronan wasn’t satisfied. The Transcendent Ghoul didn’t give enough, so he moved towards the Sovereign Realm Ghouls.

"I can’t fly, right... bitch?" Ronan muttered as he leaped into the sky with a massive boom, shattering the surrounding air and then landing on a floating Sovereign Realm Orc.

"You humans will—" Suddenly, his words were cut off as a human landed on him, and both of them crashed into the ground.

The commanders were stunned, the other Sovereign Realm orcs were stunned. Only Yen and Hesa had a smile on their faces. It seemed Ronan really was hurt by what they said.

"Peak Transcendent Realm, right?"

"I can’t sit there?"

"I can’t fly?"

"Damn you..." Ronan clenched his fist as he hammered down on the Sovereign Realm Orc, who was finding it hard to process what was going on.

Wait, who was he? Where was he? Damn humans!

Alas, he couldn’t even move his body as he felt his muscles were being obliterated. His own bones seemed to be broken, and his face was smashed beyond recognition.

And so, a Sovereign Realm Orc died without being able to even talk.

Standing up from the dead Orc, Ronan looked up. At this moment, it looked like he had put on an armor, only this armor was made up of dense bones and could be moved around and turned into a weapon at any point.

The Sovereign Realm Orcs looked at the shocked human commanders, then the dead body of their companion.

One of them was kicked as he crashed into the ground below and the other was grabbed by Ronan as the bone around his wrist suddenly turned into a sharp knife. He stabbed straight into the neck of the Orc before beheading it.

Then he moved to the other at incredible speed. A stab to the chest as the Orc could barely react as he threw a punch...

And it connected.

Silence spread as they looked at the human monstrosity.

"Oh..." Ronan was amused. He felt nothing, more like just a soft slap on his head. These bones were really a good ability as he twisted the bone impaled in the chest of the Orc.

"Agagah!" The Orc screamed in pain before his heart was destroyed, ending him.

One, two... in less than five minutes, five Sovereign Realm Orcs had fallen.

The battlefield was quiet, so much so that a single pin drop would make a lot of noise.

"You..."

"We will be back!" The remaining Sovereign Realm Orcs backed away in fear as they uttered before flying away at the fastest speed they could.

Meanwhile, the Transcendent Orcs below also ran away with fear, some even falling in the process.

"Come on, chase them!" The human commanders awakened as they spoke, their throats dried as they looked at Ronan with surprise. But rather, two among them had deep fear.

They were the ones that talked down to Ronan. If he wanted to pursue it... wouldn’t they be screwed?

They couldn’t even kill a single One-Star Sovereign Orc, yet Ronan could kill five, all under five minutes. How freakish was he? And the rest only got away because he actually stopped.

Hesa and Yen landed beside Ronan as they watched him gather the bodies of the five Orcs, and then he started opening them up as he removed the spines.

"Master... why?" Yen asked, stunned, as she offered to help, which Ronan accepted.

"My trait is about to evolve," Ronan spoke as Hesa and Yen froze.

His trait was about to evolve? Wait a minute. He could kill Sovereign Realm beings while his trait hadn’t gone through the first evolution?

The two girls were frightened, but then again, they were hybrids and had two traits, while Ronan seemed to be a combination of a Ghoul and Vampire, so he had two traits?

But isn’t the Ghoul Trait Flesh Devouring? Why would he need Orcs’ spines?

The girls were confused, but also, they couldn’t ask. Ronan could also see their confusion, but some things are just better left unsaid.
