A large number of candidates gathered to check their rankings. Despite knowing they had answered some questions incorrectly, they still held onto hope of making it onto the list.

In other words, out of almost 1,000 candidates, only 200 would make it onto the list.
The competition at the bottom of the red list was fierce, and it was exceptionally challenging for ordinary candidates to secure a spot.
