War God Long Ao

Chapter 432: A Semi-Saint Makes a Move

Strictly speaking, the martial art Heaven and Earth Mourn Together was also one of Long Ao’s trump cards.

Long Ao had originally intended to save Heaven and Earth Mourn Together for a Semi-Saint Martial Artist. But now, if the Snake Emperor managed to break free, finding another opportunity like this would be much more difficult.

Long Ao moved like a powerful tornado, sweeping up the Snake Emperor and disappearing before he could even react.

Everyone was stunned.

Although the two Semi-Saints were shocked, they ultimately held back.

This was a fair fight between the Palace Master and Long Ao. If they interfered before a winner was decided, it would only backfire and make them a laughingstock to the world.

Inside the tornado, Long Ao’s Heaven and Earth’s Momentum ruthlessly suppressed the Snake Emperor as he relentlessly attacked, one punch after another.

Even at this stage, the Snake Emperor still refused to take Long Ao seriously. Convinced he could defeat him, he began to counterattack with even greater frenzy.

’Incorrigible.’

Unwilling to waste any more time, Long Ao drew his Blood-Drinking Mad Saber and unleashed a powerful slash.

Long Ao had held back from using his Blood-Drinking Mad Saber, wanting to give the Snake Emperor a chance. After all, the Snake Emperor was Snake Princess’s own brother, and he was unwilling to use lethal force unless he had no other choice.

But things had reached a point where he was left with no choice.

And so,

He unleashed the Blood Drinking Seventh Technique: Heaven and Earth Rending. A terrifying Sword Aura shot through the tornado, hurtling viciously toward the Snake Emperor.

Heaven and Earth’s Momentum, Blood Blade Technique, Desolate Tyrant Body, Desolate Domain.

With all these abilities stacked, Long Ao was practically unrivaled beneath the level of a Void Saint.

In other words, Long Ao could now be considered the number one expert below the Void Saint realm.

Long Ao’s power was immense. One could only imagine what would happen to the Snake Emperor if that slash landed.

But just as the surrounding space tore apart and the Snake Emperor was about to be devoured by the Sword Aura, Long Ao appeared before him at his fastest speed. Without the slightest hesitation, Long Ao struck out with his Divine Dragon Arm, his fist landing squarely on his opponent’s Dantian.

’Killing the Snake Emperor is out of the question. Even if I don’t consider Snake Princess, I still have to give face to Brother Dugu.’

For this reason, Long Ao chose to destroy the Snake Emperor’s Cultivation and Dantian. It was the best possible solution.

"AAAH!"

A pained scream rang out as the Snake Emperor’s body was sent flying by Long Ao’s punch. If not for the quick reflexes of the two Semi-Saint Martial Artists, that single blow would have been enough to leave him half-crippled.

Seeing her brother sent flying by Long Ao’s punch, Snake Princess’s face was etched with fear. The fact remained that the Snake Emperor was her own brother, and that was something that could never change.

Soon, however, Snake Princess breathed a sigh of relief. She realized Long Ao hadn’t dealt a fatal blow, but had merely destroyed her brother’s Dantian and Cultivation.

"Long Ao, you dare destroy my Dantian!!!"

Fighting back the waves of weakness coursing through him, the Snake Emperor still couldn’t accept it. He had never imagined that his opponent would actually destroy his Dantian.

What did it mean for his Dantian to be destroyed?

It meant that from this day forward, he would never be able to practice Cultivation again. Forget about killing Long Ao; it was now a serious question whether he could even hold on to his position as Palace Master.

"For Snake Princess’s sake, I have spared your life. Consider your destroyed Dantian a punishment. If you dare to cross me again, don’t blame me for being merciless and killing you on the spot."

Long Ao had already shown the utmost mercy. If not for Dugu Bai and Snake Princess, he wouldn’t have given the Snake Emperor any chance at all.

The Snake Emperor’s face was darker than night. He swayed on his feet, his face deathly pale. If the two Semi-Saint Martial Artists hadn’t been supporting him, he likely would have collapsed.

"Kill him for me."

Of course, the two Semi-Saints wouldn’t team up against Long Ao. As Semi-Saint Martial Artists, they had their pride. If word got out that they had ganged up on him, what would be left of their reputation?

At that moment, one of the two Semi-Saint Martial Artists stepped forward. He was an older Martial Artist, appearing to be in his fifties or sixties, yet he moved with swift strides. In the blink of an eye, he was before Long Ao, a terrifying Holy Power surging toward him like a great, unending wave.

Everyone was stunned by Long Ao’s actions. No one had expected him to not only defeat the Palace Master, but to go so far as to destroy his Dantian. ’Has Long Ao lost his mind?’

They had to admit, Long Ao was brave. To act so arrogantly in Piaomiao Palace... he was simply courting death.

Long Ao didn’t dare to be the slightest bit careless. After all, Wan Gu was a genuine Semi-Saint Martial Artist.

The palm strike seemed gentle, but its power was in fact terrifying.

Long Ao also wanted to see if his current strength was enough to withstand a blow from a Semi-Saint Martial Artist.

Merging his Divine Dragon Arm and Nether Tiger Arm, he unleashed a vicious punch. BOOM! As fist met palm, Long Ao was sent flying backward.

Wan Gu gave Long Ao no chance to recover, lunging forward once more.

Long Ao was stunned; he hadn’t expected a Semi-Saint Martial Artist to be this powerful. Fighting through the sharp pain in his body, he righted himself in mid-air and, instead of clashing head-on again, prepared to bypass his opponent.

But Wan Gu clearly had no intention of giving him that chance, unleashing another vicious punch.

He had sealed off all escape routes. In other words, Long Ao now had only two choices: first, to meet the attack head-on and fight Wan Gu; second, to try and force his way through, but the risk of becoming Fallen was high.

In the end, Long Ao chose to meet the attack head-on. But he wasn’t a fool; he certainly wouldn’t act rashly.

Talent Divine Ability: Dragon’s Roar.

Ultimately, Long Ao decided to use his trump card—the very Talent Divine Ability he had just awakened.

Long Ao had no idea how powerful this Talent Divine Ability, awakened from his own bloodline, truly was. This was the first time he had ever used it, so its might was a complete unknown.

The Dragon’s Roar echoed.

While everyone was still wondering what was happening, the massive phantom of a Divine Dragon suddenly appeared behind Long Ao. A terrifying Dragon Mighty radiated outwards, and the oppressive Dragon Breath made it hard for the crowd to breathe.

"A Dragon Martial Artist’s Talent Divine Abilities!"

Both Wan Gu and the Snake Emperor were utterly stunned. They had never imagined that Long Ao was not only a Dragon Martial Artist, but had even awakened Talent Divine Abilities from his bloodline. They knew perfectly well what Talent Divine Abilities signified for the Long Clan.

’Talent Divine Abilities aren’t something just anyone can awaken. According to legend, one’s bloodline must be exceptionally pure—a one-in-ten-thousand chance. Any Dragon Martial Artist who awakens Talent Divine Abilities will see their strength multiply and become a treasure to the Long Clan, receiving their focused cultivation. Could Long Ao have already been to the Long Clan and undergone the baptism of the ancestral hall?’
