War God Long Ao

Chapter 271: An Outrage to Humans and Gods

Red Dragon City.

The undisputed hegemon of Red Dragon City was the Long Family.

Beneath the Long Family, the Four Great Clans stood as pillars of power. The marketplace was a sea of people, teeming with the shouts of vendors selling all manner of goods.

"Young Master An, I beg you, please let me go."

A young girl who looked to be only fifteen or sixteen was pleading desperately. Before her stood a dozen burly men, led by a foppish young man with a lecherous expression fixed on her.

"Not bad, not bad," the young man said. "If I'm not mistaken, you're still a virgin."

Hearing this, the girl was both ashamed and furious, but she dared not voice her anger. After all, Young Master An was a notoriously hedonistic scion in Red Dragon City, long accustomed to committing evil.

An Hao, the young master of the An Family, was used to bullying others with his family's backing. Given the An Family's status in Red Dragon City, no one dared to provoke him.

The An Family was one of Red Dragon City's Four Great Clans.

An Hao chuckled sleazily. "Don't be afraid, little girl. Big Brother here is going to dote on you. If you serve this young master well, heheh..."

Seeing that Young Master An was about to get violent, the surrounding crowd couldn't bear to watch. Such a fine young girl was about to be ruined by this beast in fine clothes. Truly, the heavens were blind.

The girl's face turned pale with fright, and her body trembled uncontrollably.

Her family wasn't with her, and no one in the crowd dared to step forward and help. Was she really going to be defiled by this animal?

"Young Master An, I beg you, spare me! I'll be your slave, I'll do anything!"

"Haha, little thing," he sneered. "This young master doesn't need a slave. You just need to be a good little whore."

"No, Young Master An! Absolutely not!"

Hearing her refusal, An Hao's expression instantly darkened. "Don't push your luck," he snarled. "I'm telling you, if you piss off this young master, I'll have your whole family killed."

The girl was already terrified beyond words. Watching An Hao approach her step by step, she could only retreat.

At that moment, her face was a mask of helplessness, resentment, and humiliation. She would rather die than be defiled by this animal.

"Thinking of dying?"

As if reading her mind, An Hao sneered, "I almost forgot to tell you—I have a thing for corpses. Come to think of it, it's been a while. Since you're so willing to die, you might as well do me a favor."

Upon hearing this, the girl nearly fainted. She staggered and fell to the ground, staring in terror at the young master before her.

"So, are you going to come with me quietly, or should I have my men strip you naked right now so I can enjoy you here?"

An Hao's words were outrageously arrogant, but everyone knew he had the right to be. As a disciple of the An Family, who would dare to provoke him, aside from the Long Family or the other three great clans?

Murmurs of pity and regret spread through the crowd, but in the interest of self-preservation, no one dared to step up and fight the injustice.

The girl's face was as pale as paper. She had no idea how to choose, because either choice led to the same outcome: being violated by this monster.

She couldn't die, yet living meant suffering this violation. At that moment, her life was worse than death.

"Men, do it! Strip this little bitch who doesn't know what's good for her! I'm telling you, after I'm done with you, my men will take their turns, one by one. Let's see how tough you are then."

He pressed her relentlessly. As the young master of the An Family, he feared nothing. As long as he didn't provoke the Long Family, everything was fine. Taking a step back, even if he did provoke one of the other three clans, it wouldn't matter.

"Young Master An... I'll go with you."

Her voice was barely a whisper. The girl was only fifteen or sixteen; how could she have ever seen a situation like this? She only knew one thing: if she didn't agree, she would likely be defiled by countless beasts.

Seeing the girl choose to submit, no one in the crowd looked down on her. Instead, they cursed An Hao viciously in their hearts. Beast. Shameless. Damned bastard. They even cursed eighteen generations of his ancestors, but what was the use? No one stepped forward. The girl's fate was sealed.

This was reality. These were the rules of survival.

Ultimately, An Hao had a powerful backer. If he bullied you, it was your own damn fault. Because of this, An Hao paid no mind to the crowd. He crooked his right index finger and said with a smile, "Come over here and lick my shoes clean."

The act was an outrage to both gods and men. Some of the young men in the crowd could no longer hold back, and they would have charged forward if not for the people beside them holding them down.

An Hao was clearly doing it on purpose. He wanted to show everyone that he, Young Master An, could do whatever he damn well pleased in Red Dragon City. What could any of them do about it?

As a show of dominance, An Hao sat on the back of one of his men, crossed his legs, and sneered, "Hurry up. If you annoy me, I'll execute you on the spot."

"Animal! Truly an animal, to do such a thing in broad daylight!"

Before the old man could finish his sentence, several of An Hao's thugs rushed him. Fists and feet rained down on him like drops of rain.

He was dead.

Seeing the old man lying motionless on the ground, clearly beaten to death, the thugs finally stopped. As if they hadn't gotten their fill, they each threw in a vicious kick before reluctantly walking away.

"He's been killed!"

Hearing someone cry out, An Hao looked over with utter contempt. "What's all the fuss about?" he said disdainfully. "It's just killing a person. No different than slaughtering a pig."

Hearing this, the surrounding crowd grew even more furious. If looks could kill, An Hao would have died a thousand times over.

"Hahaha! A bunch of worthless trash!" An Hao laughed. "You're all so angry, aren't you? Come on, then! Hit me! Kill me! A pack of idiots! If you don't have the guts, then get the hell away from me. Just looking at you pisses me off."

"Little thing," he said to the girl, "this is my last warning. Hurry up, or I'm going to get started."

The girl was petrified. He had killed someone so casually; what chance did she have? If she were really violated here, in public, her life truly would be worse than death.

She had no choice. The girl crawled slowly toward An Hao, her pale face streaked with tears. She was powerless and could only accept her fate, knowing she couldn't drag her family down with her.

Just as the girl was about to reach An Hao's feet, a whoosh cut through the air. An unknown object shot forward and struck An Hao squarely on the foot. A blood-curdling scream instantly erupted.

"Aaargh! My foot!"

One of An Hao's pinky toes had been snapped clean off. It lay on the ground in a bloody mess, a shocking sight.
