Unwritten Destiny [Yuri/Sapphic, Isekai, LitRPG]

Session 62 – Second love

"How does this look?" Hannah stepped out of the changing room, wearing a very form fitting bright blue bikini which showed off her many muscles. My mouth went dry and I tried really hard to look respectfully and not drool like an idiot.

"You look g-great!" Smooth, real smooth.

"Wow. You look... wow." Her cheeks turned pink as she started down at my red bikini.

My tail wrapped shyly around my waist. "Thanks! You ready for a swim?"

"Yeah." Hannah grabbed my hand and we ran together to the edge railing and looked down at the Rising Falls. "Rising Falls is a great name. I'm glad they changed it."

"I know right? We disappear for three days and someone renames a fucking waterfall." I chuckled. "They painted over the signs and everything."

"I guess they were proud of it." Hannah sounded absent, like her mind was in another world. When she turned to me, she was sucking on her lip. Gosh, everyone seemed to have picked up that habit. Maybe I'm a bad influence? "Alexis, do you trust me?"

My mouth opened and then closed as my thoughts raced. Actually, I think I did. "Yeah, I think that I do. Why do you ask?"

"Hold your breath!" She jumped over the railing, giggling as she went and yanked me with her. I screamed and clung to the tall angel as we splashed against the Falls and rode it up.

I surfaced in the water, coughing and laughing. "You bitch!"

The gorgeous blonde grinned at me and stuck out her tongue. She swam closer, backing me against the wall under the Rising Falls. "Alexis. I... I really like you and I desperately want to kiss you." She leaned in, but I grit my teeth and leaned away with a reluctant shake of my head.

"Hannah. I... I don't know how things are between Lily and I. Right now, that would feel like cheating. We've never talked about expectations or anything like that." I pleaded with my eyes for her to understand.

Of course, the holy woman understood perfectly and pulled away. "You're right. That was wrong of me. I apologize." She looked away, gazing down into the water, her eyebrows drawn together in shame. "Forgive me?"

My head bobbed with a grateful smile on my lips. "Of course. No harm done." I rubbed her shoulder.

We swam for another few hours, before drying off and changing into fresh clothes. Hannah wore that blue sun dress that barely covered her ass. I chose a tight pair of leggings with my signature corset and some fancy boots. Hannah led me to the temple of Iridatha on the way back to our room.

A priestess greeted us with a dip of her head. "Good day, travelers. Is there something the temple of Iridatha can do for you? Or are you just here to pray?"

Hannah held up her broken symbol. "I had an accident."

The woman gasped and fell into a deep bow. "Champion! You honor us with your presence. But this... I have never seen a holy symbol break before!" She chuckled. "I thought such a thing impossible."

The blonde cleric looked very pointedly at me. "Sorry! I... I'm just sorry. Can she get a new one?"

"Yes, we can do that." She bowed again and retreated back into the temple.

Shiny new holy symbol hanging around Hannah's neck, we made our way back toward the inn. Shadows elongated around us as the sun slipped below the horizon of Arcadia, its departure aided by our high elevation. She held up her holy symbol and light flooded the darkening streets around us.

"I had a lot of fun today." I smiled up to her as we walked.

Hannah returned my smile with interest. "I did as well!" Her cheeks flushed with either embarrassment or attraction. "Do you... do you think you could talk to Lily and... and maybe find out where you two stand? I just..." She swallowed and lost her nerve, looking up at the stars as we strolled along the merchant street.

I nodded slowly and pulled the tall woman into a hug. A very awkward hug that made my cheeks burn. Gosh, she was so tall and muscular. "Yeah, I'll talk to her right now."

"Thank you." She breathed into my hair and then stepped away as the air between us nearly ignited.

We got back to the inn and Hannah went to go sit in one of the common room chairs. I caught her hand. "You suffered through our drama on Mount Celestia. And you have a vested interest in the answer. So come on, this is just as much your business."

She blushed and followed me upstairs with a shy nod. I pushed open the door with Hannah on my heel, only for Lily to squeal and quickly hold a shirt up to cover herself as we accidentally found her in the middle of changing.

"Alexis! Hannah! Maybe knock?" She hissed at us as her cheeks colored with embarrassment.

"That's actually what we wanted to talk to you about." I closed the door behind us and Lily looked at me like I was crazy. "I need to know. Hannah needs to know. What are we? Are we still girlfriends? Do you still l-love me?" I laid my heart out before her and held my breath.

Lily worked her way through a dozen complicated expressions faster than I could process, although I heard Hannah gasp behind me. My ginger blinked back tears and nodded as she dropped the shirt. I stopped breathing.

"Y-yes. I do still love you. I want to be your girlfriend. I..." She wiped away tears and sniffed. "Yes. You're the first thing I think about in the morning, and the last thing I think about before I fall asleep. I feel- I feel so very safe when I'm with you. Even when-" She chuckled. "Even when we're running for our lives. I miss you when you're not in the room and my heart races when you look at me. You're my everything."

Now I was crying too as she wrapped her arms around me and sobbed against my shoulder. I took a deep breath and steeled myself. "Hannah... I-"

"Oh, she's cool." Lily mumbled into my hair. "She can be our girlfriend too."

Oh.

OH.

Right, they were from my world, not Earth. No weird hangups about being with the people you love. I grabbed Hannah and pulled her into our hug.

Sandwiched between two amazing women. It felt like a dream come true.

"You're an idiot, but you're our idiot."
