Just One Orgasm!

Chapter 164.

The door clicked shut behind them.

Emilia stood there for a moment. Then she looked around. Her fingers were still intertwined with Adrian’s.

The private bedroom was nothing like the rest of the jet.

The cabin outside had already been beautiful enough to make her wonder how much money a person could possibly spend on a plane.

This room made her question whether Adrian had quietly bought a hotel and decided to put wings on it.

There was a large bed positioned against the far wall, covered in soft ivory bedding that looked like it belonged in a five-star hotel. Warm recessed lighting glowed along the ceiling and beneath the wooden panels, making the room feel softer than the bright luxury outside.

There was a small sitting area near the window.

A dark armchair, a low table, a wall-mounted television, a narrow shelf with a few books arranged neatly, and beyond the bed, another door that presumably led to the private bathroom.

Emilia’s eyes moved slowly across everything. Then down to their joined hands, and back to the room.

"Adrian."

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"Do you actually live like this?"

He glanced around. "Like what?"

She turned toward him. "Like this."

His brows drew together slightly. "You’re going to have to be more specific."

She released his hand. Then she walked farther into the room. Her sneakers made almost no sound against the carpet.

She turned slowly, taking everything in.

"There’s a well furnished bedroom on your plane." She walked back toward him. "You know what I mean."

"I do."

She stopped directly in front of him.

Then, almost absentmindedly, her arms slid around his waist. Adrian’s hands settled naturally at her back.

She leaned into him, looking up.

"I’ve never been on a private jet before."

Adrian lowered his gaze to her. "Was that supposed to surprise me?" He asked softly.

Her arms tightened around his waist. Her voice softened. "I’m glad you had a happy ending financially."

Adrian’s eyes stayed on hers. He said nothing, and then his gaze dropped to her wrist.

The tiny silver compass caught the light.

His expression changed almost imperceptibly. He reached gently for her hand.

She allowed him to take it.

His thumb moved over the bracelet. The miniature compass rested against her wrist, delicate and almost impossibly small.

His eyes remained on it. "You wore it."

Emilia smiled. "Of course I did."

He lifted his gaze. "I wasn’t sure if you would."

"Why wouldn’t I?"

"I didn’t know if you’d like it."

She stared at him. "Adrian."

"Hm?"

"You bought me a compass. With a little silver charm, and you had it engraved." She smiled wider. "Do you really think I wouldn’t like that?"

"I wasn’t sure."

She lifted her wrist. "I love it."

His eyes softened. His gaze returned to the bracelet. "Thank you."

Emilia smiled. She turned her wrist between their hands. "A compass helps you find your way." She leaned closer. "And I like that."

Adrian’s thumb brushed over the tiny charm. "Mi amor."

She smiled. She blinked up at him with the softest gaze she had ever mustered. "Thank you for the gifts."

His smile widened. "Thank you for accepting them."

Emilia laughed quietly. "That’s such an Adrian response."

"Is it?"

"Yes."

"What would you have preferred?" He raised a brow looking down at her.

She thought for a moment. "Something more romantic."

His eyebrows lifted. "More romantic?"

"Very."

He considered her. Then he leaned closer. His voice dropped. "I love you. And I always will."

Emilia’s smile disappeared for half a second. Not because she disliked hearing it. But because every time he said it, something inside her still reacted as though she had never heard it before.

She touched his chest. "That’s romantic." She said quietly.

Her fingers lightly traced the edge of his shirt. He watched them, and then looked at her face.

Adrian searched her eyes. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." She looked up at him.

His hand moved gently over her back. "You need to eat."

"I will."

"When?"

She pretended to think. "Eventually." She leaned her head against his chest. "Before that, I need this moment "

Adrian nodded, and simply held her.

The room became quiet again.

Outside, somewhere beyond the walls, the faint hum of the jet remained.

Emilia listened to his heartbeat. It was steady, warm, and real.

She closed her eyes. "I like this."

His hand moved slowly through her hair. "What?"

"Being here."

His chin rested lightly against the top of her head. "With me?"

She lifted her face. "Obviously."

Adrian’s hand settled at her waist.

Emilia’s fingers remained curled loosely around his shirt.

Adrian leaned down and pressed a slow kiss to her forehead. Then her temple, and then the corner of her cheek.

Emilia closed her eyes. "You know," she murmured, "I was expecting you to be less affectionate."

"Never."

She smiled. His shirt was slightly wrinkled from where she’d been holding it. She smoothed the fabric with her palm.

"You dressed nicely."

"I was going to say the same thing."

She looked down at herself. Her white hoodie and matching pants were simple. Comfortable, and nothing extravagant.

She lifted a brow. "I look like I got dressed for a grocery store."

"You look beautiful."

She rolled her eyes. "You’re biased."

"Yes."

She laughed softly. "At least you’re honest."

"Always."

She looked at him again. "You really think I’m beautiful?"

His expression became almost offended. "Do you honestly need me to answer that?"

"Maybe."

"Emilia."

"Hm?"

"You could walk onto this plane wearing a trash bag."

She laughed. "And you’d still think I was beautiful?" Her voice softened.

Adrian smirked. "I’d wonder why you were wearing a trash bag."

"Adrian." She gasped.

"But I’d still think you were beautiful." He added with a small smile.

She shook her head.

Adrian’s gaze lingered on her face. He smiled at her.

Emilia lifted her hand. Her fingers brushed his cheek.

He turned his face slightly and kissed her palm. "I’m happy you’re here."

She swallowed. "I am too."

His lips remained against her palm for a moment. Then he lowered her hand.

Their eyes met, and the silence changed.

She leaned closer, and their foreheads touched. Emilia whispered, "Can I tell you something?"

"Anything."

"I was nervous."

"About coming here?"

She nodded.

"Why?"

"Because everything feels different now."

His brow furrowed.

"Before, we were always fighting something." She paused. "Your position. My scholarship. Noah. The investigation. Your family. Everything."

"And now?" She looked around the room. "Now we’re just here."

Adrian’s eyes remained on her.

"No fighting, and no pretending this would end soon."

He brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "I don’t want you to spend this week worrying."

"I’m not."

"You were." His eyes softened. "I’m not going anywhere."

She rested her forehead against his again. "I don’t want another goodbye."

"You won’t have one."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

Her fingers moved to the collar of his shirt. She toyed with it absentmindedly. She moved closer, and their noses almost touched.

Emilia smiled, and then she kissed him. The kiss was brief, and then she pulled back.

Adrian stared at her. "That’s it?"

She tried not to laugh. "Maybe."

He shook his head. "You’ve become very cruel."

She laughed, and then she kissed him again.

This time, he didn’t let her retreat so easily. His hand moved to her waist, and the kiss lingered.

When they separated, Emilia was smiling. "So dramatic."

He looked at her for a moment.

Then his hand moved to the hem of her hoodie.

He stopped. His eyes met hers. "Are you hungry?"

She knew what he meant. "I’ve been starving."

His fingers caught the fabric.

She lifted her arms, and he gently pulled the hoodie upward.

The moment became unexpectedly funny when one sleeve caught around her wrist.

"Wait." She suddenly laughed.

"I’ve got it."

He freed her hair from the fabric. The hoodie came away.

Emilia’s hair fell around her shoulders again.

He folded the hoodie and dropped it on the chair.

She looked at him. "You still have your shirt on." She stepped closer.

Her fingers found the first button.

Adrian watched her.

She unfastened it, then another.

"It’s been a month." She opened another button, and then reached for his bare chest beneath the shirt.

He reached for her hands. "Don’t play with your meal, sweetheart."

She looked at him from under her eyes. "I better be rewarded gloriously for this amoint of patience."

Adrian smiled.

She finished with the last button. Then she slid the shirt gently from his shoulders.

He let her.

The fabric fell into her hands.

She leaned in, and their lips met again.

Her hands settled at his shoulders, and his arms wrapped around her, gripping her ass. Emilia’s hands snaked around his body hungrily.
