My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building

Chapter 314: Late Night Infiltration

"In all of Hua Country’s Martial Arts Realm, only this kid from the Chu Family has reached this realm at his age," the old woman said.

"So, Master, are we here to kill him?" Bai Xue asked.

"That’s right. We must kill him now, while he’s still at the Human Martial Arts Peak Realm. If we wait for him to grow any stronger, he’ll be much harder to handle," said the old woman.

"Master, what grudge does he have with us? Do we really have to kill him? Today is his wedding," Bai Xue asked. She didn’t understand why her master insisted on this.

She had noticed on their way here that Chu Feng seemed like a decent person. He was hosting a massive banquet, treating anyone who showed up as a guest and letting them eat their fill.

"That’s none of your concern. All you need to know is that he must die!"

"Huh? But... Master." Bai Xue was stunned, her face a mask of confusion.

"Don’t say another word. I know what you’re thinking. We’ll let him live through the day. It is his wedding day, after all. Tonight, we send him to hell!" said the old woman.

Hundreds of tables for a flowing banquet were set up across the parking lots. Anyone could come and eat; no gifts were necessary.

Most of the Chu Family’s top brass had arrived, all to attend Chu Feng’s wedding.

As night fell, snow began to fall. Countless snowflakes drifted down, creating a beautiful scene under the glow of the streetlights.

Chu Feng and Su Miaoke lay in bed. Chu Feng smiled and asked, "So, what did you think of the wedding?"

"I’m very satisfied. I loved it. I’m not usually one to care too much about these things, but today made me very happy," Su Miaoke said with a smile.

"Haha, we’re practically an old married couple already, but regardless, the wedding was a complete success," Chu Feng said, also laughing.

"Okay, you should get some rest. You’ve been busy all day, and you drank so much with everyone," said Su Miaoke.

"No, someone’s here!" Chu Feng said suddenly.

His expression turned grim. With his brows furrowed, he stared intently out the window.

With Chu Feng’s current level of power, he could clearly and instantly detect the slightest disturbance outside.

After all, he was at the Human Martial Arts Peak Realm, and his Divine Soul was exceptionally strong.

"Hm? Someone’s here?" Su Miaoke asked, puzzled.

’Who would come this late at night?’

"Let’s not worry about it. We’ll find out soon enough," Chu Feng said.

At this, Chu Feng extended his Divine Soul, spreading it outwards.

At that moment, two figures stood in a shadowy corner of Chu Feng’s home: the Matriarch of the Celestial Sword Sect and her disciple, Bai Xue.

"Master, are we making our move now?" Bai Xue asked.

"Yes. I expect he and I will be trading blows for a while. Make sure you stay clear. We’ll head back after I’ve dealt with him," said the old woman.

"Master, I still don’t quite understand. He doesn’t seem like a bad person, so why do we have to kill him? Besides, he’s the Young Master of the Chu Family. If we kill him, wouldn’t we be offending the entire Chu Family?"

"Won’t the Chu Family come after our Celestial Sword Sect with everything they’ve got?" Bai Xue said hesitantly, unable to understand her master’s reasoning.

"You wouldn’t understand even if I explained it to you. Now, go hide," the old woman said, too lazy to explain further.

After she spoke, she leaped out, landing effortlessly on the second floor of Chu Feng’s home.

The balcony door on the second floor was unlocked, so the old woman pushed it open with ease.

"Miaoke, stay in bed. She’s inside. I’ll go deal with her. Don’t worry about me," Chu Feng said.

"Alright, but please be careful. Are you sure you’ll be okay?" Su Miaoke asked, concerned.

"You can be absolutely sure of that. I don’t know what this person thinks they’re doing, sneaking over here so late, but I’m about to find out. When it comes to the Martial Dao, you can have one hundred percent faith in your husband," Chu Feng said with a confident smile.

By the time Chu Feng stepped out of the bedroom and into the second-floor living room, he saw the old woman walking in from the balcony.

The old woman was visibly stunned as well. She hadn’t expected to run right into Chu Feng.

The crucial thing was that Chu Feng hadn’t made a single sound. His movements were so silent that she was utterly bewildered.

"I wonder, Senior, what business could you have sneaking into my home in the middle of the night?" Chu Feng asked.

His tone was anything but polite. Anyone who showed up at his house at this hour clearly meant no good.

"You’re a cunning little bastard, aren’t you?" the old woman sneered.

"Alright, enough with the pointless talk. If you want a fight, let’s take it outside," Chu Feng said, walking toward the balcony.

The old woman didn’t waste any time, leaping down from the balcony right after him.

Chu Feng led the way, heading for the mountain behind the village.

The old woman followed close behind.

"Old woman, you show up and immediately call me a little bastard. Did I do something to provoke you? State your name and your sect," Chu Feng said, standing in a clearing on the mountain.

"Hmph. You little bastard, you don’t need to know much. Just know that you die because you inherited something you never should have!" the old woman said, her face a mask of viciousness.
