"Feng, I’m entrusting my little brother to you. You have to take good care of him," Chu Feng said with a smile.

"You lunatic, relax. Given our relationship, how could I not take care of our little brother?" Gao Feng said, thumping his chest.

In truth, it didn’t matter that it was Chu Feng’s brother. No matter who Chu Feng sent his way, Gao Feng would have treated them like one of his own.

After all, Chu Feng was his benefactor. Without Chu Feng, he wouldn’t be where he was today.

Based on his understanding of the guy, Chu Feng knew that while Gao Feng was boisterous and carefree, he was kind-hearted. He would never betray or be too greedy with the people he considered his own.

Everyone enjoyed the meal immensely.

Especially Chu Hao. It was his first time eating at such a high-end restaurant, and for a moment he was a little overwhelmed.

"Hao Zi, go on and eat. Don’t be so formal. We’re all family here," Chu Feng said with a smile.

He knew it was his brother’s first time experiencing something like this, so it was only normal for him to be a bit reserved.

He had been the same way back then, hesitating to even pick up his chopsticks.

"Xiao Hao, your new house isn’t done with renovations yet. Su Jun will let you know when it’s ready. Tomorrow, I’ll take you to the factory to start work," Chu Feng said.

Back at the villa, Chu Hao still seemed a little dazed. Seeing his expression, Chu Feng asked curiously, "What’s wrong?"

Chu Hao was standing by an upstairs window, gazing at the distant city lights. He said slowly, "So this is the allure of a big city. It’s so much more vibrant than the countryside."

"What’s this? Getting all sentimental now?" Chu Feng laughed.

"I was just thinking how great it would be if Mom and Dad could come too. The whole family could be together, and it would be so lively," Chu Hao said.

"Do you really think they’d come? They’ve lived in our hometown their whole lives. It’s where their roots are. It’s hard for people to leave their homeland. Once you’re settled, you can bring them over for a visit every now and then," Chu Feng said comfortingly.

He had actually thought the same thing before but eventually came to a different conclusion. Instead of uprooting his parents and moving them to a strange city where they knew no one, it was better to improve their home back in the village.

That way, everyone was happy, and his parents would be much more content.

"Yeah. I’ll work hard. When the time comes, I’ll bring Mom and Dad over to visit for a few months every year," Chu Hao said, nodding seriously.

"As for work, just work hard. But don’t mess around after hours. And absolutely no fooling around, you hear me?" Chu Feng warned.

He was actually afraid that Chu Hao might slowly turn into someone like Su Jun. After all, people change. Once money or a new perspective enters the picture, the transformation could be enormous.

So, this was something that worried Chu Feng.

"Brother, don’t worry. I know what I’m doing," Chu Hao said.

"As long as you do," Chu Feng nodded.

"By the way, Brother, how big is the house Sister-in-law bought for me? Is it a villa?" Chu Hao asked suddenly.

"It’s a villa in a pretty good location. Su Jun’s house is right next door, so you two won’t be far apart. It’s still being renovated. It’s good to have your own place. You’ll have your own private space, you know, to bring over a girl you like or something," Chu Feng said.

"That’s right. You’ve graduated now, and your job will be stable soon. It’s time to find a girlfriend," Su Miaoke added from the side.

In truth, the Chu Feng of the past would have been even more shocked than Chu Hao was now.

"Thanks, Sister-in-law." Chu Hao took the wine glass. He took a small sip, and his face twisted into a grimace.

The three of them swam, drank, and gazed at the starry sky. It was an incredibly pleasant feeling, the kind of contentment that makes you want to stay in the moment forever.

However, just then, Chu Feng’s phone rang.

"Honey, your phone’s ringing," Su Miaoke said, picking it up and calling out to Chu Feng.
