Chapter 83: It’s Just the Tang Family
The soundproofing in the presidential suite was excellent; an ordinary person would never have heard the footsteps outside the door.
But Chu Feng was different. Thanks to the inheritance from the God of Wealth, his hearing far surpassed that of a normal person.
So, the moment there was any movement outside the door, Chu Feng heard it clearly.
’They’re here already?’ Chu Feng muttered to himself.
He knew they were here for him.
The next second.
The door was swiped open, followed by the sound of it being pushed.
Then, a group of men filed in one after another. There were more than twenty of them, all sturdily built and obviously trained fighters.
"There he is!"
Someone suddenly shouted, and in an instant, more than a dozen men had Chu Feng surrounded.
Chu Feng remained seated on the sofa, watching them with perfect calm.
WHOOSH~
Suddenly, he heard the whistling of wind behind his head, as if something was being brought down to smash him.
Behind Chu Feng, a man was swinging a steel pipe directly down at his head.
BANG!
The sound rang out.
It wasn’t the sound of Chu Feng’s skull cracking as the thugs had expected. Instead, the man who made the move was sent flying.
"Huh? All of you, get him!"
Seeing that Chu Feng had not only fought back but had sent one of their own flying, the remaining men charged at once.
These thugs had come to capture Chu Feng, so they were well-prepared.
Each man brandished a retractable baton, swinging directly for Chu Feng’s head.
But the result was obvious.
Chu Feng rushed forward and, with a two-handed shove, knocked over several men.
He followed with a side kick, then swung his fist out in a powerful punch.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
A series of dull thuds echoed one after another.
Nearly twenty men were all taken down by Chu Feng. Anyone hit by his fist ended up with a broken arm, a broken leg, or shattered ribs.
"Who sent you?" Chu Feng asked.
Not far away, the remaining seven or eight men stood frozen. As they saw Chu Feng walk toward them, they all began to retreat.
"Speak!" Chu Feng said coldly.
But the men didn’t dare to speak. They turned and tried to run.
But would Chu Feng let them go? Obviously not.
Attack someone and then try to run? Not a chance.
Chu Feng picked up a baton from the floor and threw it.
THWACK!
It directly struck the man leading the escape, knocking him to the ground.
Then Chu Feng rushed forward again, sending one man flying with a kick, who in turn crashed into and knocked down several others.
"I’ll give you one last chance," Chu Feng said.
"We’ll talk, we’ll talk! It was Li Si! Li Si sent us!"
"Li Si? Where is he?"
"He... he’s downstairs waiting for us."
Chu Feng kicked the man who had just spoken, knocking him unconscious.
"It seems if I don’t teach you all a harsh lesson, you’ll really think I, Chu Feng, am a pushover," Chu Feng said, his expression turning cold.
Chu Feng went downstairs.
He saw a group of men in black standing behind a middle-aged man.
This man was sitting on a sofa in the lobby, dressed in a suit with slick, shiny hair. He had a cigar dangling from his lips and his legs were crossed, giving him an incredibly arrogant air.
"Boss."
Suddenly, a few of the men in black called out to Li Si.
They had spotted Chu Feng walking their way, and a few of the men in black even moved to intercept him.
BANG!
With a backhand strike, Chu Feng took one down, then immediately sent another flying with a kick.
"Huh? Son of a bitch! You dare hit my men right in front of me? Get him! Chop off his hands and feet!" Li Si roared, enraged by Chu Feng’s audacity.
The group of men in black, more than a dozen strong, all charged forward.
But what did numbers matter? In front of Chu Feng, they were nothing but pushovers.
It was just Chu Feng, with his bare hands, against all of them.
Right in front of Li Si, in just a dozen or so seconds, he had knocked every last one of his subordinates to the ground.
And yet, Chu Feng was completely unscathed.
Chu Feng slowly walked up to Li Si, whose expression had frozen.
He never imagined Chu Feng would be this powerful, that one person could take down all dozen of his bodyguards.
"You’re Li Si?" Chu Feng asked.
Li Si swallowed hard and nodded. "I am."
SLAP!
With a single slap, Chu Feng sent Li Si sprawling to the ground.
"So you’re the one looking for me?" Chu Feng asked.
Li Si was completely stunned by the slap.
He clutched his cheek, staring at Chu Feng.
"No, it wasn’t me! It was Chen Aolong who’s looking for you!" Li Si was so terrified he immediately gave up Chen Aolong.
"Where is he? Take me to him!" Chu Feng demanded.
He was furious now. He had planned to spend the night in Cultivation and deal with these matters the next day, allowing Chen Aolong to live one more night.
But he never expected the man to be so determined to court death.
"I... I don’t know," Li Si said, his face contorted in misery, looking like he was about to burst into tears.
Even if he knew where Chen Aolong was, he wouldn’t dare say.
Not unless he wanted to be finished in Zhongnan City.
Just as Chu Feng was about to question him further, another group of people suddenly arrived outside.
It was another group of men in black, every one of them powerfully built.
From their formation, it looked like a major crime boss had arrived.
A Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled up outside the hotel. An old man leaning on a cane got out.
A crowd of people escorted the old man into the hotel.
"Where is Zhao Si?" Chen Aolong boomed the moment he entered.
But when he saw the dozen or so men in black lying on the floor and Chu Feng standing by the sofa, everyone froze.
"Master, I’m here," Li Si called out to Chen Aolong.
Chu Feng’s gaze shifted, locking onto the old man.
"You’re Chen Aolong?" Chu Feng asked, narrowing his eyes.
"And you’re Chu Feng?" Chen Aolong shot back, gritting his teeth.
"Get him! Chop off that brat’s hands and feet!" Chen Aolong ordered viciously.
Immediately, the bodyguards beside him all charged forward.
Li Si watched this unfold, wanting to shout a warning, but ultimately chose to keep his mouth shut.
He was afraid Chu Feng would come after him for it.
The result was obvious.
All of Chen Aolong’s bodyguards were defeated by Chu Feng, left rolling on the ground and wailing in agony.
Seeing how formidable Chu Feng was, Chen Aolong felt a pang of fear. He now understood that he had picked a fight with someone he couldn’t handle.
"We can talk this over peacefully," Chen Aolong said, forcing himself to remain calm.
However, Chu Feng had no intention of talking things over.
He glanced at Chen Aolong. The aura of sin above the man’s head was overwhelming.
His Sin Value had reached -86,000!
That was far more than all of his sons’ values combined.
It was clear just how many evil deeds this man had committed in his lifetime.
Chu Feng detonated it without a moment’s hesitation.
"There’s nothing to discuss. You don’t have long to live anyway," Chu Feng said lightly.
"Hmph? Brat, do you have any idea who’s backing me?" Chen Aolong said, his face darkening when he heard Chu Feng’s words.
"Isn’t it just the Tang Family? Are they supposed to be a big deal?" Chu Feng said nonchalantly.
