My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building

Chapter 69: Call Your Big Brother Over

The bald boss let out an angry curse, ripped off his short-sleeved shirt, and stalked toward Chu Yuntian.

Chu Yuntian frowned, fury boiling up inside him.

’I paid my money, and not only are they refusing a refund, they want to beat me up too.’

"What? You want to fight me?" Chu Yuntian refused to back down, unafraid despite being outnumbered.

However, Chu Feng’s mother hurriedly pulled at Chu Yuntian. She didn’t want him to get hurt, especially since they were outnumbered.

"Yuntian, let it go. Let’s just leave," Chu Feng’s mother pleaded.

"No way. I refuse to believe this. Is there no law in Beihai anymore?" Chu Yuntian retorted, unwilling to back down.

"Old man, you’re really asking to die, aren’t you? Go on, waste him for me!" the bald man roared, the thick muscles on his face twitching with rage.

At his command, several burly, sunglass-wearing men charged forward, swinging their fists at Chu Yuntian.

In an instant, angry shouts filled the air.

Chu Yuntian snatched the ashtray off the table, ready to fight them head-on.

But at that very moment...

THUD!

With a dull thud, one of the men was sent flying.

The man flew several meters, crashing into two of his companions. In a flash, all three were in a heap on the floor.

Everyone was shocked by the scene before them.

"Who did that?!"

The bald man glanced behind Chu Yuntian and demanded an answer.

Chu Feng slowly stepped forward, drawing back his right palm.

"You’re the one bullying my father?" Chu Feng asked coldly.

"Heh, and here I was wondering who it was. Turns out it’s the old bastard’s son. Yeah, it was me. So what? You got a problem?" Seeing that Chu Feng was just some young man he didn’t recognize, the bald man’s arrogance returned in full force.

His voice dripped with arrogance. The three remaining thugs closed in, each now holding a steel pipe.

"Refund the money, and I’ll spare your life," Chu Feng said coldly.

He had only just arrived, but he could already guess what the conflict with these thugs was about.

"Kid, do you have any idea who you’re talking to? In all of Beihai, no one dares to mess with me on my turf! Go ask around about the Beihai Wang Family!" the bald man sneered, a mocking grin spreading across his face.

"The Beihai Wang Family? So what? Get your boss over here," Chu Feng said, his voice like ice.

’The Wang Family is nothing. Even if it were the Tang Family, I’d still waste them.’

Just then, Chu Feng’s mother hurriedly grabbed his arm, not wanting him to cause any more trouble.

"Xiao Feng, let’s just go. Forget about the money," his mother said, her face fraught with worry. As much as losing the money stung, she couldn’t bear to see her son or husband get hurt.

Chu Yuntian glanced at Chu Feng and asked a single question, "You’ve mastered it?"

Chu Feng nodded without a word.

"Are you confident?" Chu Yuntian asked again.

Chu Feng nodded again. "One hand is more than enough."

After getting his son’s confirmation, Chu Yuntian suddenly broke into a smile. He took his wife by the arm and pulled her back.

"We don’t have to worry about this. Let our son handle it," Chu Yuntian said with a faint smile.

"Chu Yuntian, what are you talking about? Are you just going to leave our son here to fend for himself?" Chu Feng’s mother grew frantic, terrified for her son’s safety.

But Chu Yuntian’s face still held a faint, calm smile. "Don’t worry. Our son will be fine. We’ll just watch from the sidelines so we don’t get in his way."

With that, he pulled his wife away, ignoring her protests.

"You little bastard, you think you’re worthy of meeting our boss? You’re not! Go! Cripple this kid for me and dump him in the sea!" the bald man snarled, his expression turning savage.

"HAAA!"

The three burly, sunglass-wearing men charged straight at Chu Feng, swinging their steel pipes at his head.

But to Chu Feng, the three thugs’ movements seemed incredibly slow, like snails crawling.

THUD!

Chu Feng raised his foot and kicked.

One kick sent a man flying. He followed up with a palm strike.

THUD!

The second man was also sent flying.

As for the last one, Chu Feng simply slapped him across the face.

SMACK!

The sound was sharp and deafeningly loud.

In just a few seconds, Chu Feng had dealt with all three burly thugs.

The bald boss hadn’t even had time to react; the arrogant sneer was still plastered on his face.

But it quickly faded, replaced by dawning horror that spread across his features.

"Th-th... you..." the bald boss stammered, suddenly speechless.

THUD!

Chu Feng strode forward and sent the fat bastard sprawling with a single kick, then planted his foot firmly on his chest.

"Get your boss on the phone," Chu Feng commanded, his eyes radiating a murderous intent.

All arrogance gone, the bald man tremblingly fumbled for his phone and dialed his boss.

"Young Master Wang, it’s me, Xiao Pang. Someone’s causing trouble at the docks. He beat us all up... and now he wants you to come down here." The bald man tattled right in front of Chu Feng.

"What? Some bastard dares to cause trouble on my turf? I’m on my way!" An enraged voice roared from the other end of the line.

The fury in his voice was unmistakable.

Chu Feng took the phone. "You have ten minutes to get here. Otherwise, you can stop doing business in Beihai."

"What? Who the fuck do you think you are? You dare talk to me like that? Believe it or not, I’m going to come over there and fucking kill you!" the voice on the other end roared.

Chu Feng didn’t bother replying; he just hung up.

"Kid, you better let me go. You’re a dead man when my boss gets here," the bald boss threatened.

Chu Feng’s response was another kick.

THUD!

This kick landed squarely on the man’s kidney.

"AARGH!"

The bald boss let out a pained scream, clutching his left side as he trembled and convulsed in agony.

"You dared to scam my parents. This isn’t over," Chu Feng said coolly.

Chu Yuntian and Chu Feng’s mother found two chairs and sat to the side.

"Xiao Feng, shouldn’t we go now?" his mother asked worriedly. He had just assaulted several men, and she was afraid of the consequences.

"It’s fine, Mom. I can’t let this go," Chu Feng replied.

’His parents were good, kind people, and yet they were being bullied by these scumbags. If I hadn’t shown up, or if I didn’t have any power, wouldn’t they have been in deep trouble?’

"How about I give you a refund? You can just leave," the bald boss said, gritting his teeth against the searing pain.

’He was terrified now, scared that Chu Feng would kick him again. He felt like that last blow had nearly ruptured his kidney.’
