The main course was fish soup and grilled fish.

With deft movements, she knocked out the live fish conjured by the Sacred Tree’s power, scraped off the scales with a knife, slit open the belly to remove the innards and black membrane, and rinsed the blood clean with water.
Then, she scored the fish with a crisscross pattern, carefully rubbed on sea salt and spices, skewered them on sharpened branches, and set them to slowly roast by the fire.
The remaining fish heads and bones were tossed into a pot, along with seasonings and water, to simmer.
Soon, a bubbling sound came from the pot as the milky-white fish soup roiled, and a rich, savory aroma spread across the desolate wilderness.

After over a dozen hours of nerve-racking Outer Realm exploration, a steaming bowl of this incredibly delicious fish soup was pure bliss.
