Chapter 302: Confrontation
Between the mountains of the Black Forest, streaks of white light suddenly flickered across the horizon.
Following the white light was an intense pressure, as if a god had descended in person to inspect His land.
At the mountain peak, Celia stood atop an exposed black rock. Her dark red eyes lifted slightly, gazing at the figure surrounded by holy light high in the sky.
Freya.
She looked down at Celia from above, her expression vacant and her divinity awe-inspiring.
The holy light framed her like a goddess descended to the world, making even the mountains tremble slightly beneath her feet.
Seeing the other woman's current display of power, the corner of Celia’s mouth slowly curled into a mocking arc.
“Heh... playing God, are we?”
The moment she locked onto Celia, a long-suppressed urgency surged from the depths of Freya’s golden eyes.
