Chapter 168: Not Passionate Enough
Ansu looked at Celia, who had just teleported before him, and a soft smile unconsciously tugged at his lips.
"Of course I did."
"Really?" Celia leaned in with a beaming smile, scrutinizing Ansu's face.
"But I don't feel any passion from you at all!" She blinked, her tone carrying a hint of a pout. "We haven't seen each other in so long, yet you're so calm, Ansu..."
Ansu looked at her helplessly. "Don't we see each other almost every day?"
Celia appeared punctually every single night, almost like she was keeping tabs on him.
It reached the point where he had to skirt around Vera and Freya's rooms every night, fearing the awkwardness if the three of them ever bumped into each other...
"Hmph!" Celia lifted her chin in dissatisfaction. "That doesn't count! We're thousands of miles apart. I don't want to keep chatting with you through a cold magic projection..."
"Besides! You have no idea how hard it's been for me staying in that cave all by myself. If I couldn't talk to you every night, I would've died of boredom!"
