Chapter 126: Three Endings
Under the stinging sunlight, Ansu snapped his eyes open.
The final scene of the simulation made his heart pound and cold sweat soak his body.
Ansu immediately surveyed his surroundings; he was back in the ruined village in the wasteland, where the sounds of battle echoed, the massive silhouettes of shadow wolves flashed by, and the Holy Light divine arts of the clergymen flickered one after another.
He was finally back...
Seeing Miss Witch not far away, Ansu felt as if a lifetime had passed.
This simulation had been far too long...
"Ansu?" Celia noticed Ansu's tense expression and asked worriedly, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
"It's nothing." Ansu gave Celia a soft smile.
The current Miss Witch had no idea how much had happened deep underground, but Ansu's state of mind was now vastly different.
