The column of text written on the Green Jade Scroll was the Taiyin Yuan Yu Skill. Besides that, there was another line of small characters, and nothing else.

Xu Ying walked toward the Green Jade Scroll, intending to get a closer look, but was stopped by the old servant, Zhou Buyi.

"Young Master Xu, to decipher the Green Jade Scroll, you must first study the Tuo Yu Immortal Book. Otherwise, you won't be able to understand its contents."

Xu Ying was puzzled. "Jade Bamboo? Bamboo can be made of jade? Can jade grow from the ground?"

He walked up to the Jade Scroll Daoist Scripture and looked up to examine the small characters.

There were eight characters in total, also in bird-worm seal script, but they were written differently from the script he had seen before. The strokes seemed to hide many wondrous meanings.

The moment he saw the first character clearly, he understood its meaning. However, at the same instant he recognized it, he lost the ability to express its meaning with words.

He couldn't use any language he knew to describe or depict the character's meaning.

If forced to express it, he could barely use the character "Tai" to represent it.

Just as he understood the character "Tai," a strange sound echoed in his ears, causing his body to involuntarily move in response!

His body stood firm. With one palm to his left and the other to his right, he curled his middle two fingers. His upper body twisted backward, his waist turning almost a full circle until his bones let out a series of CRACKS!

When the movement was complete, Xu Ying felt his Primordial Qi and the Celestial River Water surge along his spine. They evaporated into a rain that cleansed his Mysterious Domain, washing over his Five Viscera!

He saw the second character. If he had to force it into a known language, it could be called "Yin."

The strange sound in his ears suddenly changed, as if someone were chanting a mysterious scripture, causing a rustling sound to emanate from his bone marrow.

Xu Ying's body moved on its own. He squatted down, one palm forward and one back, and guided his neck forward. He instantly felt a cool current flow through his marrow, and his bones RUMBLED AND SLOSHED throughout his body.

Ultimately, all the force gathered at the Black Iron Profound Gate at his Tailbone, settling within the Tailbone Profound Gate!

He saw the third character, "Yuan." The sound in his ears changed again, and Xu Ying followed with a third movement. He placed one foot forward and one back, pressed his hands to the ground, and tilted his head back as far as he could.

Within his body, water rose to the heavens and fire rose from the earth. This Water and Fire Inter-refining tempered all the acupoints in his body!

Finally, the water and fire converged near his Dantian!

The Jade Scroll Daoist Scripture had eight characters in total. Xu Ying looked at them from beginning to end. With each character he saw, he heard a different Dao Sound. After reading all eight characters, wondrous things happened to his Five Viscera, Tailbone, Dantian, Jiaji, throat, the area under his tongue, his tongue, and the spot between his eyebrows—inside and out!

Xu Ying felt as though he had been washed clean from the inside out, a feeling even more comfortable and pleasant than Great Sun Body Tempering or Thunder Sound Body Tempering!

The meanings of the eight bird-worm seal script characters on the Jade Scroll Daoist Scripture could be expressed with the eight characters: Tai, Yin, Yuan, Yu, Yi, Yang, Yong, and Zhen.

But their true mysteries could only be comprehended by understanding the meaning of the characters while simultaneously hearing the Dao Sound that their meaning transformed into.

Even stranger, the eight characters on the Jade Scroll Daoist Scripture seemed to correspond to the eight realms of Cultivation: Qi Collection, Knocking at the Gate, Inter-refining, Second Knocking Gate, Multi-Storey Tower, Jasper Pool, Divine Bridge, and Ascension!

After cultivating it once, Xu Ying felt a sense of comfort pervade his Flesh Body, soul, Divine Sense, Primordial Qi, and bloodline. Every thought in his mind became as clear and distinct as a round, lustrous pearl, no longer chaotic as before.

Even the Dao Image in his Mysterious Domain had become much more stable than before!

"The Taiyin Yuan Yu Skill can't just be these eight characters, can it?"

The Tuo Yu Immortal Book was the Ancient Qi Refiner Tuo Yu's interpretation of the Taiyin Yuan Yu Skill. It was divided into eight realms, each with lengthy annotations. It used many complex terms for its explanations, and explaining those complex terms required even more complex terms!
