VRMMORPG: Reborn with SSS-Rank Plundering and Fusion Talent

Chapter 127: Plantinum Scales

Levi didn’t even swing his scythe. He stood straight up on the Wyvern’s back, completely ignoring the wind and the lightning.

"Soul Harvest."

The pitch-black shadowy aura wrapping around his Obsidian Carapace armor instantly detached. It shot up into the stormy sky, compressing and expanding until it formed a massive, pitch-black spectral guillotine blade directly over the Wyvern’s neck.

The 70% Level Suppression penalty didn’t matter. The 6,000 Defense didn’t matter. The execution mechanic bypassed everything.

The giant spectral scythe dropped.

It passed straight through the crackling storm-scales and cleanly decapitated the massive beast.

The lead Wyvern froze in mid-air. It let out a gurgling, static-filled shriek before violently shattering into millions of glowing blue polygons.

[Target Executed. Movement skill cooldowns reset.]

Levi was suddenly falling through the empty sky.

He didn’t panic. He looked around in mid-air, spotting the second Wyvern diving toward him with its jaws wide open.

"Hollow’s Traverse!"

His body dissolved into dark light, completely bypassing the snapping jaws. He teleported exactly thirty meters diagonally, reappearing directly on the back of the second Wyvern.

Isolde’s True Damage blasts had already pushed this one close to the threshold. It was sitting at 610,000 HP.

Levi swung his scythe rapidly, landing ten hits in two seconds. The health bar dipped below 600,000.

"Soul Harvest."

Execute. The Wyvern shattered. Levi fell.

"Hollow’s Traverse."

He blinked to the third Wyvern. He battered it down, taking another 16,446 damage hit to the chest, but he didn’t care. He hit the 20% threshold.

"Soul Harvest."

It was a breathtaking display of mechanical dominance. Levi was literally teleporting through the sky, chaining executions in mid-air. He bounced from dragon to dragon, dropping massive spectral guillotines that shattered the beasts into blue light.

He landed on the final Wyvern, hacked its remaining health away, and dropped the fifth Soul Harvest.

The final beast shattered.

Levi fell through the clouds. He didn’t teleport this time. He just let gravity take him. A second later, he landed perfectly on the saddle of the Behemoth, right in front of Isolde.

The mount didn’t even break its stride, galloping across the invisible cloud-floor.

Five dense, thick crimson auras ripped out of the stormy sky above them and violently slammed into Levi’s chest in rapid succession.

[Supreme Harvester triggered 5 times.]

[Storm-Wyvern’s primary stat is VIT (3,300).]

[You have plundered 3% of its core stat.]

[Gained +500 VIT permanently!]

Levi physically gasped as the raw data injected into his avatar. His virtual muscles felt denser. Five hundred Vitality was an absolutely staggering amount of base stats to gain in a single fight.

Before he could even process the math, the experience points dropped.

Killing five Level 75 Elites with a fourteen-level gap applied a horrific underdog multiplier.

[System Notification: Slain 5x Level 75 Elite Storm-Wyverns. Gained 190,000,000 XP.]

The golden pillar of progression light crashed through the black storm clouds, completely engulfing Levi and the mount. The light instantly washed away his fatigue and topped off his Shared HP pool.

[System Notification: Level Up! You are now Level 62.]

Levi smirked, swiping his menu open.

The 190 million XP combined with his leftover 50 million gave him exactly 240,000,000 XP. It perfectly paid the 240 million cost for Level 62, leaving him with a clean 0 XP carrying over. He needed 260,000,000 for the next level.

He had 5 new free stat points. He dumped them straight into Strength.

His previous Vitality was 1,504. He added the massive 500 from the plunder. His new permanent Vitality hit exactly 2,004.

The system rapidly recalculated their Shared HP pool. 2,004 Vitality multiplied by 20 was 40,080. Add his 100 flat armor bonus. Then add Isolde’s massive 50,800 base Anomaly health and the 25,000 bonus from the Mythic rings.

[Shared HP: 115,180 / 115,180]

"One hundred and fifteen thousand health," Levi laughed, dismissing the UI. "I think we can survive a few lightning bolts now."

His Strength bumped from 2,925 to 2,930.

2,930 multiplied by two gave him a base attack of 5,860. Add the 500 Attack from his Platinum scythe, bringing it to 6,360. Apply the 20% class passive, and his Total Attack locked in at exactly 7,632.

"Look," Isolde said, pointing her staff toward the dissolving polygons in the sky.

Falling through the clouds were three massive, glowing white items. They looked like giant, jagged pieces of bone glowing with pure lightning.

Levi steered the Behemoth directly underneath them, snatching the items out of the air before they could fall to the surface.

[Platinum Wyvern Scale]

[Rarity: Platinum Crafting Material]

[Effect: A heavily condensed scale holding the raw power of the storm. A required catalyst for forging Diamond-tier weaponry.]

Levi looked at the three scales in his hand. He had exactly enough.

"We got them," Levi said, a ruthless smile crossing his face. He slotted the scales into his spatial inventory. "Let’s head back to the island. It’s time to forge a god-killer."

The central keep of Levi’s new floating domain, The Apex Harvester, was quiet.

He walked down the stone steps into the private vault situated directly beneath the territory core. The room was basically a large, empty stone box, completely barren except for the massive digital ledger hovering in the center.

Isolde walked quietly down the steps behind him. Her untextured gray cloak didn’t glitch anymore. With their souls tethered and her code permanently anchored to his character model, she moved just like any normal player. She looked around the empty vault.

"For a territory that generates fifty thousand gold coins an hour in transit taxes, your physical treasury lacks aesthetic appeal," Isolde noted, tapping her wooden staff against the cold stone floor.

"I’m not here to decorate," Levi grunted, waving his hand to pull up his spatial inventory. "I’m here to spend all of it."

He walked to the center of the room and swiped his hand downward, forcing the [Boundless Fusion] interface to materialize. The holographic anvil popped into existence with a heavy, metallic clunk that echoed off the stone walls. The three glowing golden material slots hovered right above it.

Levi pulled his current weapon out of his inventory.

The Platinum Scythe of the Eclipse was a great weapon. It had carried him through the Midnight Spire and helped him butcher the Mortal Coalition’s fleet. But against Level 80 and Level 90 mobs, its base stats were starting to fall off.

He placed the dark metal scythe directly into the center catalyst slot of the anvil.

Next, he pulled out the loot he had just ripped from the sky.

Three massive, jagged pieces of bone that glowed with pure, crackling blue lightning. The Platinum Wyvern Scales. They were incredibly rare drops, specifically coded as crafting materials for endgame gear.

He placed the three scales into the floating fusion slots around his scythe.

The interface immediately recognized the items. The golden slots shifted to a deep, warning red. The system threw up a massive prompt right in front of Levi’s face.

[Warning: Upgrading a Platinum Weapon to Diamond-tier requires a supreme soul-catalyst.]

[Currency Fee: 100,000 Gold Coins.]

[Proceed?]

Levi stared at the red text.

He checked his Domain wallet. Thanks to the panicked guilds fleeing the Aether Skies blockade and paying his airspace tolls, his balance was sitting at exactly 105,000 Gold Coins.

"One hundred thousand gold," Levi sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I finally get rich again, and the game immediately robs me. The economy in Starfall is a complete scam."

"A Diamond-tier weapon represents the absolute pinnacle of current server progression," Isolde pointed out reasonably. "The mathematical output of the upgrade will far exceed the monetary loss. You are making an optimal investment."

"I know," Levi said. "It just hurts to click the button."

He didn’t hesitate anymore. He slammed his hand against the accept prompt.

His Domain vault balance instantly dropped from 105,000 straight down to 5,000.

The moment the gold vanished, the Boundless Fusion anvil completely erupted.

This wasn’t a standard Platinum fusion. Forging a Diamond-tier item forced the game engine to dig deep into its rendering capabilities. A blinding, prismatic light shot out from the anvil. It was so bright the VR engine automatically dimmed Levi’s visor to prevent him from actually going blind in the real world.

The physical feedback was completely insane.

The entire floating island violently shook. Dust and loose pebbles fell from the ceiling of the vault. The sound of tearing metal and crackling thunder deafened him. The three Platinum Wyvern Scales melted into pure, liquid electricity, wrapping around the dark metal of his old scythe like a swarm of angry snakes.

The scythe completely shattered. The pieces didn’t fall; they hung suspended in the prismatic light, re-forging themselves into something entirely new.

The heavy shaking stopped. The blinding light instantly snapped out of existence like a turned-off lightbulb.
