As Wang Chenning sparred with Wu Ziyue, Lei Danyun stood up to get a closer look.

She of course saw Wang Chenning’s absolute advantage in speed. She also noticed the viciousness of his moves and his extraordinary power. Her expression changed once again.

"Let me teach you a move today. A very practical killing technique!" Wang Chenning held a short needle in his palm and swiftly struck at Wu Ziyue, pulling back just as the needle pierced her clothing.

"If this needle were coated in poison and struck the heart or temple, it would be a one-hit kill!

"Even without poison, piercing the heart would still inflict a grievous wound." Wang Chenning removed the needle and handed it to Wu Ziyue, gesturing for her to practice. "This needle technique is a deadly art I developed myself. I can teach it to you, give you plenty of needles, and even add poison."

"Thanks!" Lei Danyun didn’t refuse. She proactively asked Wang Chenning for a needle holder and some silver needles.

The two women were already highly skilled, so after Wang Chenning explained the technique, they grasped it almost immediately.

After a few demonstrations, they could advance and retreat with ease.

He glanced at the time—it was almost one in the morning. Wang Chenning covered his mouth with a yawn. "I’m heading to bed. You two can see yourselves out."

"How about we sleep here!" Wu Ziyue’s beautiful, wide eyes darted back and forth. "You have a bed and a sofa, and we’re not picky about where we sleep. When we get up tomorrow, you can teach us another move. And if you have time, you could give me some acupuncture. I want to be as fast as you."

"We’ll take the bed in the guest room," Lei Danyun added, clearly not planning to leave either. "We’ll get up early tomorrow for acupuncture and training."

"Are you two the hosts now, and I’m the guest?" Wang Chenning didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but he didn’t refuse them. "Fine, you can make the bed yourselves. I’m going to wash up. The bathroom’s all yours when I’m done."

But just as Wang Chenning finished washing up and was lying in bed, ready to sleep, he was surprised when Lei Danyun barged into his room.

Wang Chenning craned his neck to look toward the bathroom and saw that it was occupied.

’Lei Danyun must have snuck over to find me while Wu Ziyue is in the shower.’

"What is it?" Wang Chenning asked, sitting up and pulling the blanket around himself.

"You pervert!" Lei Danyun snarled at him. "You knew it was us, and you still didn’t hold back!"

"So I really did scratch you?" Wang Chenning looked at Lei Danyun in surprise. "Is it bad? Want me to take a look?"

"Get lost!" Lei Danyun snapped, furious and embarrassed. "You did it on purpose!"

"Then tell me, where’s the best place to strike to subdue an opponent? The chest, of course, regardless of gender! I’m sure you’ve been taught about the body’s major vital points. The chest is always a prime target, whether you’re going for the kill or just trying to incapacitate someone. Let me tell you, if I hadn’t held back on that first strike, both of you would have been crippled. Your sternums might have caved in." Wang Chenning’s expression turned contemptuous. "And here I thought the great captain would be more skilled than this. If I were your enemy, would you even be alive right now?"

Lei Danyun froze for a second before his meaning fully sunk in, making her even more furious and embarrassed.

"Don’t avoid treatment just because it’s unpleasant!" Wang Chenning cut in before Lei Danyun could explode. "Leaving an injury untreated can have lasting consequences. And being friends with me has countless benefits and no drawbacks, doesn’t it?"

"Hmph!" Lei Danyun shot Wang Chenning a furious glare, then spun around and left his room, slamming the door hard behind her.

’It’s not my place, I’m just a temporary guest. Demolish it for all I care,’ he muttered. With that, Wang Chenning flopped back onto the bed and went to sleep.

Wang Chenning woke up early the next day. When he got up, Lei Danyun was already awake, but Wu Ziyue was still sleeping.

Seeing Lei Danyun practicing her moves in the living room, Wang Chenning strolled over with a grin. "How about a few rounds? Grappling Skill!"

Lei Danyun didn’t refuse. She walked up to Wang Chenning and assumed a fighting stance.

The result? After just a few exchanges, she was utterly defeated by Wang Chenning. To make matters worse, he took advantage of the close quarters to touch her all over, leaving her half-dead from fury.

"I’m positive I scratched you last night," Wang Chenning said seriously when they stopped. "I can tell from the way you’re moving, and that subconscious way you’re protecting your chest. Come lie down in my room. I’ll take a look for you."

"I don’t need your help!" Lei Danyun retorted, storming back to her room and ignoring him.

A little while later, Wu Ziyue emerged.

She also wanted to spar for a few rounds. Wang Chenning patiently taught her several of the disabling techniques he had developed before giving her an acupuncture session.

Having faced Wang Chenning with such openness many times before, Wu Ziyue wasn’t the least bit embarrassed.

Lying before him in just her underwear, her body was relaxed, and her mind was completely at ease.

However, the treatment to improve their reaction speed didn’t involve any private areas; it mainly focused on stimulating the spine, limbs, and head.

After seeing Wu Ziyue’s acupuncture session, Lei Danyun finally gave in. She took off her outer clothes and lay down beside Wang Chenning.

Wu Ziyue tactfully excused herself, not wanting to watch Wang Chenning treat Lei Danyun.

Lei Danyun actually had a nice figure, even if she was a little lacking in a certain area.

’Truly well-endowed women are a rarity,’ he thought. ’Most have some kind of imperfection.’

Wang Chenning didn’t comment on Lei Danyun’s figure, simply focusing on the professional treatment.

For the first time, Lei Danyun truly experienced the wonders of Wang Chenning’s acupuncture. During the treatment, she could feel a distinct, noticeable improvement in her overall flexibility. The marvelous sensation of a warm current flowing through her body allowed her to relax completely, both physically and mentally.

"You two should probably hide. It’ll save us all some embarrassment." Wang Chenning didn’t want to deal with the awkwardness either, so he told Lei Danyun and Wu Ziyue to conceal themselves.

He was confident in their skills; he knew that if they hid, Yang Xiaofu would never find them.

Lei Danyun and Wu Ziyue didn’t want any outsiders to know their whereabouts either, so they agreed. They quickly gathered their things and used the room’s furnishings to hide.

Only after they were hidden did Wang Chenning go to open the door.

"Brother Ning, you jerk! What took you so long to open the door?" Yang Xiaofu complained the moment she stepped inside. "Don’t tell me you just woke up!"

"Yep, just woke up," Wang Chenning said with a yawn and a stretch. "What brings you here so early?"

"I had a really naughty dream last night, and you were the star. That’s why I came to see you first thing in the morning!" As she spoke, Yang Xiaofu threw her arms around Wang Chenning’s waist. "You haven’t kissed me in ages! I want a kiss!"

With that, she puckered her lips and rose onto her tiptoes...
