Ebony’s POV

Two Months Later

"How can you tell me how to treat my Omegas? They are a part of my Pack, and I can punish them how I see fit." Keith and I met with some of the Alphas who felt our new laws were too harsh. They believed I had no right to tell them how to treat their Pack Members.

"Yeah, and what do you mean an Omega under the age of sixteen is not allowed to work in the Packhouse?" Some of the Omegas let their children help them cook and clean." Another Alpha asked

"Do these children go to school?" I asked

"Some don’t go to school." This is because their parents don’t have time to get them ready for school."

"Well, as you have learned, I have made it that every child, no matter what Rank, is required to attend school and get an education. You need to make sure they all go to school," Keith said.

"This whole thing is ridiculous."

"I am sorry you feel that way, but I will remind you that if you don’t follow all of the laws, there will be an investigation. If the parents are the ones responsible, they will be punished. You can also be punished if we find out you are making it where all the children from your Pack are going to school or working under age. I don’t care what Rank they are," I said. I could tell many of the Alphas didn’t like the changes Keith and I were making. They wouldn’t say anything to me or look at me funny, but I could sense their anger.

"We need to make a surprise visit to some of the Packs. I can tell some of the Alphas are not going to follow our laws," Keith said

"I agree," I replied, and we hopped in the car to go home.

"Good Evening Queen Ebony. Is the King going to be with you tonight?" One of the Pack Members that worked as a waitress asked.

"No. I am meeting Princess Alissa," I replied

"Of course. Right, this way." I followed the waitress to where Alissa was sitting. I had decided it was time for me and Alissa to talk about everything that happened.

Alice was still in a coma. We decided to keep her on life support because the Pack Doctor told us there was a possibility she would wake up. I knew Jacob wanted to take her off life support. He had rejected her, and after everything she had done, he believed she deserved to die. Keith felt the same way, but I didn’t want to hurt Alissa like that. Alice was her mother, and even though she was evil. I didn’t want her to lose her mother that way. Jacob and Keith said if she ever woke up, she would never see the light of day. I felt Jacob planned on killing her if she ever woke up.

Alissa didn’t get away with helping her mother kidnap me. She is doing community service and working as a maid at the Packhouse. I came up with the punishment because Keith was not okay with her getting away with what she did. I know her punishment isn’t as extreme as it would have been if she wasn’t my sister, but I can sense she is sorry for what she had done.

After Jacob passed me the power to rule, I started sensing others’ auras. I can feel if someone is evil. I have to focus on figuring it out, but it’s nice to know who I can trust. Jacob said he could never sense that in anyone and was shocked when I told him I could. Abby thinks I always could sense that in someone but didn’t know how to use the ability.

Keith still doesn’t trust Alissa, and I understand why. He doesn’t want me getting hurt by her anymore. That is why he made me come inside with ten Royal Guards and is waiting in the car for me.

"Sorry I am late. Keith and I had a meeting with some of the Alphas," I said and sat across from her.

"Dad always had those. He seems so happy now that he isn’t King anymore. So much more relaxed than he has ever been," Alissa said

"I can tell he seems less stressed since Keith and I took over," I said

"Ebony, thank you for meeting with me. I wanted to let you know I know I was wrong for everything I did to you. I am sorry, and I hope you and I can have a sister relationship someday. That was what I had wanted ever since I was little. Dad would always tell me that I had a big sister and that I would meet her one day. I couldn’t wait to meet you, but I got jealous when everyone’s attention went to you. I was the only princess, and then you came and took all the attention away from me. I know I seem like a spoiled brat, and I will agree that I am. I never even wanted to become Queen. I just wanted the attention. I wish I had never listened to my mom and helped her kidnap you. I hope you can forgive me," Alissa said

"What you did to me was wrong, and I will never forget. But I feel you are sincerely sorry and regret everything, so I am willing to give our relationship a chance. You are my little sister, and I would like to have a relationship with you," I said.

"Thank you, Ebony." The door opened, and Keith walked inside.

"I told him to wait in the car," I said, and Alissa looked at him.

"He is only making sure his Queen is safe. You might as well invite him over to eat with us. He doesn’t trust me yet. But I promise I will show him I have changed," Alissa said. I walked over to Keith, and he wrapped his arms around me.

"Are you okay, My Love? I was checking on you."

"Yeah, come on and eat with us," I said, knowing it was hard for him to wait in the car and worry about me.

"You sure," Keith asked.

"Yeah. Come on."

"Hello, King Keith. I wanted to apologize to you as well for everything I did. I promise to prove to you I am sincere," Alissa said as Keith sat beside me.

"Just call me Keith, and I hope you are truly sorry," Keith said

"I am," Alissa said, and Keith nodded.

I smiled, knowing Keith and Alissa were both trying to get along for me.

164_Epilogue

Ebony’s POV

Six Month’s Later

Keith and I stood in the back while Alissa cried by her mother’s coffin. The Doctors said Alice had lost all brain function, so Alissa and Jacob decided to take her off life support. I felt terrible for Alissa because not that many came to her funeral. Most from the Bloodmoon Pack came to my mom’s even though they didn’t like her. Many Werewolves saw Alice as a terrible Queen, and I knew that was why they didn’t show, but I still felt awful for Alissa. Once the casket was lowered, Jacob, Keith, Alissa, and I left.

"How are you feeling," I asked Alissa. We decided to go out to eat after the funeral. I could see she was feeling sad. I had told Jacob and Keith to go inside the restaurant so I could speak to Alissa alone.

"I am fine. I just am sad my mom is gone. I know she wasn’t the best person in the world, but she was my mom," Alissa said.

"Trust me, if anyone understands what you are saying, it’s me. We both didn’t have the best moms in the world," I said

"I will be fine. I knew this day was coming. It will take some time," Alissa said, and I nodded.

"You ready to go inside?" I asked

"Yeah."

Two Years Later

"Are you okay, My Love?" Keith asked as I threw up everything that was in my stomach.

"Don’t come in here," I said as Keith opened the door.

"Ebony, this is the third morning I have seen you like this," Keith said, holding my hair as I leaned over the toilet.

"I know," I said as I got up, flushed the toilet, went to the sink, washed my hands, and brushed my teeth.

"I think we need to go to the Pack Doctor to see what’s going on," Keith said

"Okay, after school, we will go," I said

"I would feel better if we went before you go to school. It would calm my wolf and me," Keith said.

I knew Keith had been worrying about me. He thought I had some stomach flu or something, but I had a feeling it was something else, and I didn’t know how he woudl take it if he knew I thought I was pregnant. We had said we wanted pups, but not until I was done with High School. We were also really busy running the werewolf community.

We had made a lot of progress in the werewolf community, making things better, but some still believed in the old ways Alica and my father ran things. Mostly, the older werewolves of higher ranks didn’t feel omegas, humans, and witches should be treated as equals.

Some humans and Witches were mated to werewolves; back in the day, they weren’t treated fairly. That is why most would reject or move away with their mate if they were human or witches. I felt it was essential to treat humans and witches with respect as long as they were good.

"Fine."

"I will call the doctor while you get ready," Keith said. He kissed my forehead before walking out of the bathroom.

"Congratulations, King Keith and Queen Ebony. You are pregnant." Keith looked at the Doctor with a shocked expression.

"Did you say she is pregnant?" Keith asked

"Yes, the two of you are having a baby." Keith’s expression didn’t change, and he was quiet. I was starting to worry that he was upset. "I will give the two of you some privacy," she said and walked out of the room. Keith was still silent, staring into space. It was like he was in shock or something.

"Keith, are you okay? I am sorry if you didn’t want this so early. I know I am in my final year of high school, and we have been very busy." Keith placed his hands in mine, causing me to look at him.

"I am not upset bout you being pregnant, My Love. I am happy and shocked. You being pregnant never crossed my mind. I was worried you were sick, and now I am relieved," KEith said

"So, you are not mad?’ I asked

"No. I am excited you are pregnant. I am going to be a daddy," Keith said and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his lap. He kept peppering kisses on my face causing me to laugh. "Thank you so much, My Love. I am going to be a father. I can’t wait to tell everyone."

Four Months Later

"I call Valedictorian Queen Ebony Daniels Monroe to the stand." the principal said. It was Graduation day, and I had become Valedictorian. I had worked so hard all four years of high school.

Everyone clapped as I walked up to the stage to say my speech.

"Hello, class of 2020, we have made it, ahh," I said. Suddenly I saw a gush of water and knew my water had broke. Keith ran up to the stage, looking at me worriedly.

"Are you okay?" Keith asked

"The baby is coming. We need to get to the hospital now," I said

"There you go, Queen Ebony. You are almost there." I pushed one more time, and then I heard my baby cry.

"It’s a boy," The Doctor said and placed my son on my chest. "Would you like to cut the umbilical cord, King Keith?" Keith took the scissors and cut the cord.

"You want to hold your son?" I asked

"Yes, please," Keith said. He took our son and held him close. "I love you. I love both of you," Keith said, looking me in the eye.

"I love you too."

"Why didn’t you tell me you were the Queen of Werewolves?" Rose, Derek’s Mate, asked. Derek, Kate, Kayla, and Rose were visiting Keith and me in the hospital.

"Because I was told by a witch that I couldn’t interfere or you would lose. I am sorry I kept that from you," I said

"It’s alright. I knew you had to have had a good reason not to say anything. So do I call you Queen Ebony now?" Rose asked

"No. We are family. You don’t have to call me Queen." They left after about an hour, leaving Keith and me with our son.

"Thank you," Keith said, and I looked at him, confused.

"For what?’ I asked

"For giving me a chance after everything I had done to you. I didn’t deserve a chance with you, but you still gave me one. Without you, I would be nothing," Keith said.

"You deserved a chance, and you proved it to me daily. I love you so much and can’t imagine my life without you," I said. Keith kissed me softly, and I couldn’t help but laugh.

"What’s so funny?" Keith asked

"I was just thinking if you had told me three years ago that you and I would be Mates, I would never have believed you. I would never have believed that I would have an amazing life as I do now"

"Well, believe it because it is real," Keith said and kissed me softly.

"I love you," I said

"I love you too," I replied

It is crazy how amazing my life became the night I became My Bully’s Mate.
