The success of the Abyssal Trench reclamation sent waves of electric momentum across all three realms. In less than forty-eight hours, the news that a Grade-6 Abyssal Rift had been completely cleansed by first-year Pentagon Association students—without a single human casualty—silenced the remaining skeptical voices on the continent.
However, inside the central observatory of the Floating Cloud Island, Gabriel stood at the edge of the open-air balcony, looking up at the dark, starry sky where the hidden Vorathian Vanguard fleet drifted in deep orbit.
Beside him stood Evelyn, her hand resting warmly in his, while Ethan and Elena stood nearby, their dark navy-and-silver coats still carrying the faint, ozone scent of their victory in the Western Reach.
"The students performed brilliantly, Dad," Ethan said, unstrapping his wooden spear shaft and resting it against the marble balustrade. "The Fire and Metal Spire formations held like solid bedrock."
"That was only a single rift, Ethan," Gabriel replied smoothly, his gold-tinted dragon pupils reflecting the cold light of the distant stars. "The rift anchors on the ground are merely the roots. The true storm is floating above our heads in deep space. To protect this world, we must blind our enemies in orbit and expand our vision across the cosmos."
Gabriel raised his right hand, summoning two glowing, golden artifacts from his System space: The Void Sovereign Summoning Card and the glowing, star-patterned blueprint for The Sterling Celestial Canopy.
"System," Gabriel commanded silently. "Activate the Void Sovereign Summoning Card on Malakor, and deploy the Celestial Canopy Matrix."

The shadow cast beneath Gabriel’s boots suddenly detached itself from the floor, erupting into a towering, fifty-foot pillar of pitch-black, cosmic spatial lightning!
The temperature inside the observatory dropped to sub-zero in an instant as the very fabric of space within a hundred miles vibrated with divine, void-bending pressure!
Out from the roaring column of cosmic darkness stepped Malakor.
His black robes had transformed into dark, obsidian Void-Scale Armor that hummed with starlight. His eyes, once shrouded in dark mist, now burned like twin, icy violet suns capable of perceiving every shadow across the entire planet simultaneously!
Malakor dropped heavily onto both knees before Gabriel, slamming his dark-armored fist across his chest, his voice echoing from the void itself:
"Subordinate Malakor... transcends by the Sovereign Master's grace! My shadows now stretch across every city, every dungeon rift, and every satellite orbit in this realm!"
Gabriel looked down at the newly evolved Void Sovereign with calm, regal satisfaction. "Rise, Malakor. Your first objective: extend your shadow surveillance past our atmosphere. Lock onto every Vorathian scout vessel and hidden transmission node in orbital space."
"By your command, Sovereign Master!" Malakor’s form dissolved into a wave of cosmic shadow particles that shot straight into the high atmosphere!
Gabriel turned back to the floating blueprint of The Sterling Celestial Canopy.
He tapped the center of the blueprint, channeling five hundred million Cosmic Spirit Vein Crystals into the central core of the Pentagon Matrix below!
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
Across the five mountain peaks surrounding the Central Capital, the elemental spires of the Pentagon Association—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—erupted into five blinding, heavenly pillars of multi-colored light!
The five beams of light converged ten miles above the clouds, expanding outward in a rapid, golden-and-azure shockwave that wrapped around the entire planetary atmosphere like a protective, crystalline shell!

"High Commander!" a Vorathian officer shrieked in panic. "Target Realm coordinates 004 have disappeared from our orbital radar! The planet's atmospheric signature has been completely wiped from our sensors!"
The Vorathian High Commander slammed his clawed fist onto the console, his red eyes burning with shock. "What do you mean disappeared?! Did the native human cattle deploy a planetary cloaking barrier?!"
Before the Commander could issue another order—
A cold, icy violet shadow materialized directly behind his command chair!
Malakor stepped out from the darkness, his void-black blade already unsheathed.
"The Sovereign Master sends his regards," Malakor’s voice whispered in the commander's ear.
SWISH!
In less than three seconds, the entire Vorathian scout vessel was cleansed in absolute, shadow-void silence, leaving no trace behind!
Back on the Floating Cloud Island...
As the golden-and-azure glow of the Sterling Celestial Canopy settled over the sky, creating a breathtaking, shimmering aurora across the night, Gabriel stood with his arms folded behind his back, flanked by Evelyn, Ethan, and Elena.
Down below, millions of citizens across the three realms looked up at the glowing sky, cheering in absolute safety and pride, knowing that House Sterling stood between them and the dark expanse of the universe.
Gabriel looked out over his empire, his dark golden dragon pupils burning with world-shaking, cosmic dominance.
The nobles were fallen. The continent was unified. The commoners were awakened. And the world was hidden from the eyes of the stars.
"Let the Vorathians count their days," Gabriel whispered softly into the night wind, a cold, victorious smile playing on his lips. "When they finally arrive in ten years... they won't be invading a planet. They will be walking into their own graveyard."
