Help! My One-Night Stand Is Examining Me?!

Chapter 309 In a state of bliss

Sure enough, some things become addictive the more you do them.

Alana was still in a state of bliss.

In the man’s arms, she slowly calmed her ragged breathing.

Seeing the marks she’d left on his chest, her cheeks flushed. She never would have imagined she’d have such a wild day.

And right here in the hospital...

They should have gone back to the hotel, and not do it right here in the hospital...

As she carefully replayed what had just happened, Alana felt so embarrassed she could have sunk into the ground.

Stephan’s hoarse voice sounded above her, “Are you satisfied?”

Alana blushed even more deeply and lifted her eyelashes.

His languid aura and slightly mischievous expression seemed to carry a hint of malice.

She bit her lip, her shyness intensifying. “There won’t be a next time.”

Mm-hmm. At the very least, we can’t just do this out in the open...

Stephan let out a low chuckle, sounding both pleased and satisfied.

“Are you sure there won’t be a next time? You seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed yourself just now.”

Alana’s cheeks flushed bright red, and she buried her face in his chest, too embarrassed to answer.

Just then, his phone rang.

He released the woman in his arms and picked up the phone. “I’ll take this call. You just lie in bed for a while.”

Alana rolled over, burying her face in the pillow, refusing to acknowledge him.

Stephan watched as she turned her back to him, revealing a fair, smooth, and beautifully contoured back, covered densely with his kiss marks.

He curved his lips slightly, as if surveying his conquest.

He really was a stud, no wonder she was so turned on that she’d begged him for sex right there in the hospital.

Feeling smug inside, the man answered the call without checking the caller ID.

“You little brat, where the hell have you been these past few days?” The voice was full of irritation, and Stephan instantly realized it was his hot-tempered mother on the other end.

“Hmm, so you finally had the time to call me?”

Cynthia snapped, “I’ve been calling you for days! You didn’t even see my missed calls? You’ve been MIA lately. Where have you been?”

“I’ve been on a business trip.”

Cynthia didn’t believe him. “A business trip? Give me a break. I asked Assistant Vance, and he said your trip ended a week ago!”

Stephan frowned. That traitor Vance, he’d dock his pay as soon as he got back!

At that very moment, Vance, who was handling Stephan’s affairs at the office, let out a loud sneeze.

Cynthia pressed on, “Tell me, where exactly did you go?”

“Mom, your son’s all grown up now. He’s free to go wherever he wants, there’s no need to tell you every single detail, is there?”

“You little brat, isn’t it okay for me to care about you? You’re perfectly fine, yet you vanished for over a week without a trace. What if something had happened? Where would I have gone to find you?”

“Mom, I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

Cynthia snorted lightly. “Then just tell me honestly... where are you right now, and who are you with?”

Stephan glanced at the girl on the bed, who had already burrowed under the covers, and a smile involuntarily tugged at the corners of his mouth.

“I’m busy spending time with my girlfriend.”

Stephan thought for a moment and decided there was nothing to hide, so he explained,

“My girlfriend’s grandmother is sick, so I traveled with her to visit her. Plus, after all my hard work and courting, she’s officially introduced me to her family, and they’ve accepted me. Mom, you’ll have a daughter-in-law very soon.”

Hiding under the covers, Alana heard this and buried her face even deeper.

He really says anything...it’s so embarrassing.

Cynthia detected a hint of smugness in her son’s tone and was taken aback.

“What?”

Was this for real?

Had her son been secretly pulling off such major schemes behind her back?

Stephan raised an eyebrow. “Yeah. Your son still has to work hard to bring her home to meet you all. I’ll hang up now.”

Before Cynthia could say another word, Stephan had already hung up.

She gritted her teeth. “Why did he hang up so fast?”

She hadn’t even had a chance to ask him about his girlfriend’s situation.

After hanging up, Stephan pulled the girl, curled up on the bed like a cicada pupa, into his arms.

“Did you hear that? I’ve already made a bold promise to my mom that I’ll bring you back to meet them. Once we get back to the city, I’ll set up a meeting for you two, and then we’ll discuss getting married.”

Alana’s body went limp; held tightly by the man, she melted into his arms like water. Her face flushed, and she murmured softly, “I heard you.”

Stephan curved his lips, slowly leaning closer to Alana, his warm breath swirling around her ear.

“I really want to take you home right now.”

Alana’s ears burned, and she couldn’t help but push him gently. “I need to get up soon. Grandma must be awake by now.”

Stephan reached out and gently tickled the tip of her nose. “I’ve been thinking about whether we should transfer Grandma to a hospital in the City. At the very least, the hospitals there are more advanced than the ones here.”

Alana thought to herself, his intentions were all too obvious, he just wanted to whisk her back to the city as soon as possible so she could meet his parents.

She chuckled, “Well, I can’t decide that right away. I need to discuss it with Grandma and ask her opinion first.”

Stephan realized she was right, he couldn’t rush things.

Alana hurriedly put on her clothes. Seeing the messy bed and the scattered traces left on it, she couldn’t help but blush.
