Chapter 351 Practice makes perfect
Eve patted Alana on the shoulder. “It’s time to take the initiative. It’s still early, so let’s go buy you a few outfits. You can’t do this kind of thing without looking your best!”
“You really are the ‘Sister of Experience,’ you’ve got plenty of it.”
Eve chuckled, “Practice makes perfect!”
*****************
Alana went to the mall with Eve to buy a few things, then returned to Stephan’s house.
Shortly after they got back, Eve sent her a few private videos.
Alana clicked on them with a curious mindset.
But after just a few seconds, she couldn’t take it anymore and closed the video.
Her face flushed bright red, like a ripe berry.
In her mind, the few provocative scenes she’d just seen in the videos kept replaying over and over.
It was mind-blowing!
Eve even sent a message with instructions.
[These are all my treasured gems, make sure to study each one carefully!]
[Once you’ve mastered the essentials and put them to use on a man, I guarantee he’ll be hooked on you!]
After thinking it over, Alana mustered up the courage and opened the short video again.
She spent about two or three hours studying.
When she finally closed the video,
Blushing, Alana thought to herself that after watching for so long, she felt she was ready to put her skills to the test.
Seeing that it was getting late, with less than two hours until Stephan got off work, Alana put down her phone and headed to a nearby supermarket to buy some groceries.
As she was about to check out, she noticed several rows of condoms on the counter. She wasn’t sure how many they had left at home.
After a moment’s hesitation, she glanced around nervously, as if she were a thief, then quietly grabbed two boxes of the largest size and quickly stuffed them into the bottom of her cart.
After paying, she walked back home carrying two bulging bags.
On the way, she came across a little girl selling flowers.
The girl looked to be about seven or eight years old, with two braids and a face full of youthful, plump skin. She stood by the roadside with an elderly man, calling out to passersby to buy flowers.
Alana saw this and felt a moment of daze.
It was as if she were seeing her younger self, going out onto the street with her grandmother to set up a stall selling sweet potatoes.
Alana couldn’t help but walk over. “I’ll take a bouquet of roses, please.”
At her words, the little girl’s eyes lit up instantly. “Sure thing! A bouquet of roses is 15 dollars!”
Alana promptly pulled out the money and handed it to the little girl.
The little girl hugged the bouquet and pressed it into Alana’s arms, smiling sweetly and saying, “Thank you, pretty lady!”
Alana smiled, said “You’re welcome,” and turned to walk back.
With a bouquet of vibrant roses in one arm, and a bag of groceries in the other, she was in high spirits.
Back home.
She immediately found a vase and filled it halfway with water.
Then she took out a pair of scissors, trimmed the stems and leaves of the roses, and arranged them in the vase.
Holding the vase, she made her way to the dining room and placed it on the table.
She took a whiff of the roses and smiled.
“They smell so good.”
While she still had time, Alana took the vegetables into the kitchen to get to work. First, she cooked a pot of rice, then washed and chopped the vegetables before stir-frying them in the wok.
When Stephan got home from work, the moment he opened the door, he caught the scent of cooking wafting from the kitchen.
He slipped into his slippers in the entryway, took off his heavy coat, hung it on a coat rack, and then headed toward the kitchen.
First, we walked into the dining room, where a bouquet of roses sat right in the center of the square table, their red color dazzling.
Surrounding the roses were several small dishes.
Stephan walked over to take a look; they were all familiar, home-style dishes.
Sweet and sour spare ribs, beef with cilantro, stir-fried shrimp, and a serving of greens. Four dishes, seemingly simple, yet exuding the warmth of home.
And they smelled so good... it was as if they carried the scent of home.
Stephan couldn’t help but walk further toward the kitchen. His tall figure leaned against the kitchen doorway, arms crossed over his chest, as he calmly watched the girl still bustling about in the kitchen.
Today she was wearing a beige knit top and matching casual pants, with a blue apron tied around her waist.
Her beautiful, soft hair was tied up with a ribbon into a high ponytail.
She had a lovely head shape, with a round, full nape. Tucking her hair back revealed her slender, fair neck, and a few stray strands softly curled around it, exuding an indescribable gentle charm.
The sight melted his heart, filling him with tenderness.
It was truly a scene so beautiful that one couldn’t bear to disturb it.
At that moment, the girl was standing in front of a clay pot, using a spoon to ladle out the soup simmering inside.
She scooped up a small spoonful and tilted her head to take a taste.
Stephan couldn’t resist pulling out his phone to capture this beautiful moment.
But just as she tasted the soup on the spoon, it was too hot. It made her suck her tongue back in, and the tip of her tongue poked out... a delicate, rosy red.
Stephan had just pressed the shutter button, capturing the moment when she, having been scalded, scrunched up her pretty little face and stuck out her tongue.
“Haha!”
The moment the photo appeared on the screen, he couldn’t help but laugh. How could she be so adorable?
The girl turned around in surprise and saw the tall figure standing in the doorway. She was both startled and delighted.
“You’re back?”
“Yeah, just got back.”
Stephan strode over, raising an eyebrow.
“Did you burn your little tongue just now?”
Alana blushed. “No.”
“I don’t believe you. Let me check.”
“How do you plan to check?”
The man walked up to her, his towering figure casting a shadow over her.
“Stick out your little tongue.”
Alana blushed deeply. “I really didn’t burn myself.”
Stephan couldn’t hold back any longer. He reached out and pinched her cheek, applying a little pressure.
Her rosy lips parted involuntarily, releasing a seductive breath. “Stick out your tongue. Let me take a look.”
Alana pouted.
“You won’t stick it out, huh? I’ll just have to check it another way.”
Before Alana could react, the man had already lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers.
What followed was a whirlwind of a passionate kiss that left Alana breathless and weak.
He pinned her against the kitchen counter, his long fingers gripping her slender waist so tightly that the soft flesh at her waist spilled out between his fingers.
Alana felt her tongue being relentlessly besieged by the man; no matter how she tried to dodge, she couldn’t escape his pursuit.
Only when she felt herself about to melt in his arms did he finally let her go, giving her a chance to catch her breath.
He leaned in close, his thin lips gently brushing against her fair, delicate earlobe.
“Lana, we... haven’t tried it in the kitchen yet...”
Alana’s ears burned with embarrassment.
She pushed him away weakly with both hands. “Let’s... let’s eat first.”
You need to eat your fill before you have the strength to work.
Stephan caught the girl’s hint, and a mischievous smile curled the corners of his mouth.
He cupped Alana’s flushed cheeks and kissed her passionately. “Alright, feeding your little tummy comes first!”
Alana blushed. “I’ll serve the soup. You go sit down first.”
Stephan smirked. “No, the soup’s too hot. I’ll pour the soup, and you serve the rice. A man and a woman working together makes the work go by faster.”
Hearing this, Alana felt a warm glow in her heart.
She also remembered that the rice hadn’t been served yet, so she let him have his way. Soon, all the dishes were on the table.
Alana and Stephan sat side by side.
Alana picked up her chopsticks and eagerly invited him to help himself, “Here, try the dishes I cooked.”
Stephan, however, slowly pulled out his phone and opened the camera app.
“No rush. I’ll take a few photos and post them to show off first.”
Alana sighed.
She knew it.
Stephan snapped several photos of the dishes, click, click. Thanks to the roses, the photos turned out beautifully.
They looked absolutely delicious.
“Did you buy those roses?”
Alana nodded. “Yeah, I saw a little girl and her grandmother selling flowers at a roadside stall, so I picked up a bouquet.”
