Apocalypse Descends: I Win Effortlessly by Turning Trash into Treasure

Chapter 323: The Owner of the Dealer's Domain

While Perry Yates’s Cerulea was in the midst of a wild celebration, things were happening on the other side.

After leaving, Sage Bishop didn’t immediately return to his own planet. Instead, he entered The Dealer’s Domain.

Previously, Perry Yates had learned from Victor that The Dealer’s Domain was a place where most Croupiers exchanged intelligence.

In fact, there was one thing he hadn’t mentioned: everyone who entered The Dealer’s Domain, whether forced or by choice, became a vassal to its master.

While they wouldn’t have to die for the master of The Dealer’s Domain, they still had to obey their commands.

And the reason Sage Bishop had come to see Perry Yates was that the master of The Dealer’s Domain had taken an interest in her ability to enhance cards.

After all, to Concrete a game instance, one needed at least ten thousand White Cards. This was a vast number. It might be sustainable for one or two instances, but if one wanted to Concrete more, relying solely on White Cards was simply not feasible.

Not to mention that White Cards were not at all secure.

Upon returning to The Dealer’s Domain, Sage Bishop immediately saw a curvaceous woman in a cheongsam looking at him.

Seeing no one behind Sage Bishop, Reina Quinn couldn’t help but frown. “She didn’t come with you.”

Sage Bishop wore an apologetic expression. “My deepest apologies, my lady. She refused. She said that if you wish to see her, you should go find her yourself. She also mentioned that she’s timid and doesn’t want to enter someone else’s territory.”

After hearing Sage Bishop’s words, Reina Quinn’s brow furrowed even more deeply. “Didn’t you make it clear to her? I need to see her about something important.”

“I did, but she didn’t seem to care.”

Reina Quinn was stunned for a moment, then a certain possibility occurred to her.

‘But for a planet with such a high serial number, is that really possible?’

“By the way, what about the other task I gave you?”

“My deepest apologies, my lady. I was unable to copy her Talent. I couldn’t even copy the cards she has integrated.”

As he spoke, Sage Bishop pulled a stack of cards from his coat.

If Perry Yates were here, she would have recognized them instantly. These were Replication Cards, capable of copying not only Skills, but Talents as well.

However, Perry had known about Replication Cards for a long time. To prevent them from being used on her, she had already made copies of her own integrated cards and Talent.

This was precisely why Sage Bishop’s attempt to copy her Talent and cards had failed.

Reina Quinn was naturally aware of the limitations of Replication Cards. Upon hearing that Sage Bishop had failed, her first thought was that someone else had discovered the unique nature of The Card Tavern’s owner and had made a move before she could.

‘It seems cooperation is the only path left.’

However, Reina Quinn also understood that if her suspicions were correct, she would not be able to take the lead in this matter.

This was a bitter pill to swallow for someone who had been in a high-ranking position for so long.

After a moment, she said to Sage Bishop, “I understand. I’ll handle this myself.”

Meanwhile, after Perry Yates announced the opening of the Road Survival instance, she left the rest to be handled by the dolls.

The dolls had known Perry Yates’s plans for a while, so they hadn’t been idle, using the time to prepare for this day. After taking over the instance, they quickly got the hang of things, leaving Perry Yates with nothing to worry about.

Watching these capable dolls, Perry Yates couldn’t help but nod. ‘Not bad, not bad at all. These little dolls really know what they’re doing.’

Perry Yates watched them with satisfaction. She turned her head and came face-to-face with a pair of rolling peaks.

After taking a few steps back, she could finally see the newcomer clearly.

‘Tsk. She’s got to be 1.8 meters tall, and she’s wearing high heels on top of that. Just standing there, she gives off an aura that makes her seem 2.8 meters tall.’

“You were looking for me?”

This person had never appeared in The Card Tavern before, but her aura and appearance made it clear she was no ordinary player. There was only one possible explanation—she was from another planet.

“It’s not convenient to talk here.”

Reina Quinn glanced around. The place was bustling with people coming and going. Far too many.

“Follow me.”

Perry Yates led her to a private room on the second floor.

After they sat down, Perry watched the woman before her leisurely. “So, what can I do for you?”

“My name is Reina Quinn. I am the master of The Dealer’s Domain.”

Perry Yates nodded. “I figured as much. I’m the owner of The Card Tavern and Phantom Street.”

“Aren’t you going to tell me your name?”

“Is it proper to ask a lady’s name so casually? Why don’t you tell me what you’re here for first.”

Perry Yates quickly skirted the topic of her name, clearly unwilling to discuss it further.

“I want you to provide me with Advanced Cards, preferably five-star cards.”

Hearing this, Perry Yates tilted her head, a “That’s it?” expression on her face. “For something like that, can’t you just go through our custom order process? You pay, we deliver. The Card Tavern runs a very honest business, you know.”

Reina Quinn’s lips twitched at Perry Yates’s words. If she could afford to commission the cards, she wouldn’t have come here to negotiate in the first place.

She took a deep breath, composed herself, and said, “Your planet should have entered the Cardverse by now, I imagine. But with its high serial number, you probably haven’t experienced many instances. I’m different. I’ve entered no less than a hundred instances since the game began.

Unfortunately, the cards I have are limited, so I can’t Concrete all of those instances. Besides, instances Concreted with White Cards are highly unstable.

So, I’d like to propose a deal. You provide me with Advanced Cards, and I’ll give you the usage rights to half of my instances. From now on, you’ll own half of every instance I Concrete.”

“That sounds like a pretty good deal. But how can you guarantee you’ll stick to the agreement? Are we signing a contract?”

“Of course. We can have the system issue a contract. If I breach it, I’ll pay the price.”

Hearing Reina Quinn’s offer, Perry Yates wasn’t as excited as the other woman might have expected. Her expression remained impassive.

“I think you’ve misunderstood me. I don’t have a faction backing me; I’m on my own. Even if you gave me the rights to all those instances, I wouldn’t know what to do with them.

Besides, I’m not short on money or cards. And as for that contract you mentioned… what’s the penalty for breaking it? Your life? Or would all the instances under your name transfer to me? I doubt it’s anything that severe. As long as the potential profit is great enough, a contract is just a piece of paper to someone ruthless enough to tear it up.”

Reina Quinn could tell that Perry Yates wasn’t very interested in the matter—or rather, she wasn’t interested in the profit-sharing model Reina had proposed.
