Ch 32: I say no
Despite people pealing off back to Eterna, grumbling all the way, the traffic jam only grew as night fell.
A daring few, mostly husky and hunky mountain girls, had decided to try and go over the top. The rest wished them well then watched with binoculars for any spills, Mt. Coronet was quite steep in this area, hence the need for a tunnel and not just a trail.
In the meantime the mass had started putting down stakes, literally, as tents were pitched all over the field, some of them even made of fabric. Gardenia and her partners were running themselves ragged trying to make sure there was some semblance of order, and that the main road stayed clear.
Folks were jockeying for prime real estate, some trying to set up very elaborate tents. Rather than deal with all that, the three had just moved to the outskirts. The ground wasn’t quite level there, but while Pomona started assembling the tent, Gem had amused herself by walking around and kicking loose rocks away.
Hailey had to say, looking at the tent sitting there, she was a bit annoyed. Despite grabbing what was marketed as a four person tent after Pomona’s badgering, it still looked kinda small.
It was also purple, with a yellow flap at the front, so perhaps Pomona had other reasons for pushing her to pick it. Anyway, it would be fine, not like their little group was going to be inviting people in for sleepovers.
“I still think we could have gotten something brighter.” Gem sniffed.
“I gave you the option to choose the sleeping bags.” Hailey said, while squinting at the camp MRE’s, trying to decipher what exactly they were.
“Ugh, the only not dreary thing they had was Pikachu coloured and like hell I’m giving those overexposed bimbos any more attention!”
“Ok, touched a nerve there I guess. Electric type politics? Anyway, as for dinner looks like our options are… chili with beans, cheese tortellini in sauce, and Individual Cheese Pizza Slice.”
“Well, you make them all sound so inviting.” She really was going to be getting a taste of her own medicine with Gem’s sarcasm wasn’t she?
“Maybe I should have bonded with a chef instead of a cheerleader, they say there’s nothing more attractive than cooking and Thẚo was looking pretty good after that stew.”
“Woah, hey now, let’s not get crazy. Sure my ass can’t cook, but look at these thighs, eh, eh? Pizza is fine.”
Hailey was going to comment that the pizza would probably go straight to her thighs, but she was cut off.
By an explosion.
The cloud of dust thrown up dwarfed the tents, but they still couldn’t see the cause. They could certainly hear it though. The constant murmur of conversation and occasional squawking as groups fought over spots had been replaced with the roar of applause.
It had been tempting to just ignore whatever it was and get on with cooking, but her girls had seemed interested so Hailey had made the executive decision to see what is was.
For them, of course.
What it was turned out to be was… a pit. A pit which definitely hadn’t been there before.
Getting close enough to confirm that wasn’t easy, on account of of all the people thronging it, but the pitying glances folks threw her way did have a use here, beyond just making her feel bad. They at least didn’t have to push and shout, much, to make their way through the crowd.
Yep, it certainly was a hole in the ground. Obvious in its unnatural nature by the small lip jutting up around the edge. At least she wouldn’t have to worry about slipping in, a real concern given all the ice that had formed around.
The pit was about eight or nine feet deep, and the ladies at the bottom would probably be pretty heated if it wasn’t for the waves of cold air coming off one of them.
She stood near the centre of the rectangular pit, the smug grin plastered on her face visible even from meters away. A head crowned with red feathers and wicked looking claws completed the images. While she kept her feet planted firmly, her arms were a whirl of motion, throwing out shards of ice at the other combatant, though virtually all missed to shatter on the wall of the pit, harmlessly spreading cold fog as they mixed with the warm summer air. She didn’t seem to be that bothered though, with how much laughing she was doing, it was downright maniacal.
The other Mon was harder to get a bead on, constantly zipping around, though never rising above the line of the pit. Hailey thought she got the impression of translucent wings, large eyes, and other such details, but she couldn’t be sure. The lady just moved to fast.
Of course, it was only after straining her eyes for several moments that she remembered she had a Dex now.
“Hmm, Weavile and Yanma huh?”
“Indeed, do be careful if you ever encounter one of their line Hailey” Pomona said. “Even for dark types the Sneasal line is known for being… rather sadistic in their affections.”
To which Gem replied “Oh, and your lot aren’t?” In a huff.
“I would never say such a thing about my sisters, they are, to a one, loving and affectionate. And they did eventually let you cum, to be fair.”
Gem’s grumbling didn’t sound convinced.
“Well, I doubt the Weavile will get a chance to be to mean, the Yanma has to have this right? She’s so fast!” Hailey was still having trouble tracking her, it was honestly giving her a headache.
“Mmmm, I wouldn’t be to sure.” Gem had climbed up on her lap again to get a better view. “I don’t think I’ve seen her land a single actual hit, she’s just buzzing around, looking for an opening. And Oh! Yeah, she’s definitely slowing down.”
It was extra hard to see with a short cake in the way, but actually Gem did seem to be correct. The Yanma was slowing down, meaning she was actually visible now.
“It cannot be easy for the poor thing.” Pomona chimed in, “Her agility would be far better served in a more open arena, and if I am not mistaken those missed shots might have been not so random.”
The mist did seem to be getting thicker, a soft blue haze filling the air as the Yanma struggled to move through it, like it was thick soup. It was probably exhausting, if Hailey had to guess, which is why it was no surprise that she eventually touched down, just for a second.
Her scream as ice suddenly climbed up her legs was more than a bit shocking though.
In just a few seconds the Yanma was encased up to the waist. Trying to scratch and pound at it with her fists wasn’t doing any good, but then Hailey saw her pull in a deep breath, as if she was about to scream.
A shame she never got the chance as a clawed hand slapped over her mouth.
“I do so love to hear my pets to scream” The Weavile was practically screaming herself to be heard over the crowd. “But in this case, I think that silence will be golden.”
When her hand came away, there was an ice mask covering the bugs mouth, while her hands were quickly frozen behind her back. The Weavile seemed to have no issue sculpting the ice, her claws effortlessly cut a channel between the Yanma’s legs, freeing a small area.
It made her feel kind of dumb, but it was only then that Hailey realized what was about to happen. Her first instinct was to move away, head back to the tent. Gem certain felt the instinctive jerk, but there was no place to go, she was boxed in by other people on all sides.
Embarrassment started burning its way through her body no matter how hard she tried to suppress it. Ok, so some strangers were about to fuck in front of her, whatever, happened to people every day. Some of them, multiple times a day.
She was an adult, a thought that only made her feel exactly like a kid again, she could handle it. Hell, it would probably happen more times while they were out on the road. She just needed to stay cool, like all the ice around.
Like the suspiciously phallic icicle the Weavile was now holding and using to tease Yanma’s chest.
Oh no.
It really was amazing how Pokémon were able to hide parts of their… anatomy away, when they didn’t want to be bothered. Take the Weavile for example.
On first glance she had been a slender, angular figure. Not to tall, not to short, with a modest chest and fairly slender hips. Now though? Well, her chest was more… excited, for one. Bright red nipples now crowned each of her modest breasts and Arceus did they seem invigorated by the cold air, though not as excited as bouncing red cock that was sticking up between her legs, glistening with a waterfall of… well, Hailey didn’t want to think about it.
“What is… wrong with her thing, it’s… bulging.” She whispered, in spite of herself.
“Oh, you mean her KNOT?” Gem had sensed weakness and she sounded hungry. Twisting around she was in the perfect position to whisper into her hapless trainers ear.
“Maybe you’ll get to try it one day, have to say, it’s a real unique sensation, leaves a girl feeling proper stuffed… once it’s popped in of course.
“You try to stick anything like that near me and I’m cutting it off!” She tried keeping her voice steady, tried being the operative word. Gem wasn’t having it, the little beast was practically tonguing her ear now.
“Aww c’mon Sunbeam, lighten up! You’re out in the world now! It’s time to experiment! If you don’t want a third yet I could always get my hands on some… toys.”
The battle to keep from burning up despite the chill was well and truly lost, but Hailey wasn’t ready to fully concede defeat just yet. “In case you forgot, you little rat, my shit doesn’t work, so you can strike that off.”
Gem just looked disappointed with her, or perhaps pitying as she pulled back, slightly undercut by the fact that she was clearly trying not to laugh.
“Hailey, Hailey, Hailey, I know you’re new to this, but even you have to know that you little kitty ain’t the only way things can get done, but don’t you worry, Big Sis isn’t sure she believes that whole malarkey but she’s gonna show you the ropes, just you wait!”
Any opportunity for rebuttal was lost when the gremlin hopped off her lap, circling around to talk to Pomona. It made Hailey shudder to think about what they could be whispering about.
Looking back down wasn’t the best option, but at least the person getting fucked down there wasn’t her.
The Yanma really was well and truly, well, fucked. Totally immobilized, gagged, bound in place. Hailey wasn’t an expert but she couldn’t see any possible way for the bug to wiggle out of there, and she didn’t even seem to be trying.
The Weavile had taken her show behind her victim, but still seemed to be focused on the tease instead of getting right to business. Even from a distance Hailey could see her nibbling some neck, teased her victims chest with one claw while the other, if the movements were being read right, was pistoning one of her “icicles” quite vigorously.
All Hailey could do was wonder how people even enjoyed that, but judging by the… energy, in the crowd around her, they were more than happy with the show.
Still, all things come to an end. The Yanma was trembling, though from the teasing or the cold was impossible to determine. Still, the poor bug finally gave up the ghost, erupting all over the ice in front of her. The cheers and whistles were nearly deafening, but once she’d stopped shaking the Weavile started breaking her out of the ice, all while stealing kisses in a surprisingly tender looking way.
“Well, that would seem to be that!” A voice boomed out, though still struggled to be heard over the crowd. Oh, so that was where Gardinia had gone. The orange haired Gym Leader was on a slightly raised bit of rock across the pit, trying her best to make herself heard by shouting through a… traffic cone, not even an actual megaphone. “So, do we have any more challengers that need to blow off some steam tonight? As a reminder, no, I am not taking challenges, come to the Gym if you want to test your stuff!”
Then, through chorus of cheers and shouts, a faint, but familiar, grumbling came up. “Can’t believe I walked all the way out here and now have to go back, waste of time…”
“Uhh, Ann right?” Boy this actually remembering peoples names was surprisingly taxing, but it sure looked like the flaming red haired girl from the other day, still in her orange tracksuit with its seperated top and bottom, midriff conspicuously visible to show her abs. The way her head swung around (sending her Ponyta tail flying) and locked eyes already make Hailey regret speaking.
“Oh hey, Holly right, from yesterday?” “Hailey, actually.” “Right, Hailey, anyway, what are you doing here?” She still wasn’t breaking eye contact.
“We were gonna try to head for Sunnyshore but…” She just waved her hand in the direction of the mountain, “There appears to be slightly more rock in the way than usual. You?”
“I wanted to challenge Gardenia of course!” She practically exploded, “But she says she’s ‘too busy’ to do it right now, and that it wouldn’t even be a proper challenge. Now I have to shlep back to Eterna and wait Arceus knows how long for her to deal with this mess! It makes me want to explode!”
“Damn.” Hailey clucked her tongue, “Sucks, dunno how long we’ll be stuck here. When I talked to Gardenia she mentioned that it might take a while. Apparently they can’t just get some Rock type to dig out the collapse, there’s a whole ‘process’ and stuff.”
“Wow, you got to talk to her? I barely got five words out of her!”
“Well, she does seem to be pretty busy keeping people from… trashing the mountain, I guess? I probably only got what I did cause I think Pomona just about scared the pants off her.”
Things went quiet there for a moment, not in absolute terms, but relatively. People were still milling around the pit, talking, gossipping about who would be next, and Ann seemed to be deep in thought.
It might have been a good time to slip off back to the tent, finally get that dinner started as the light slowly went down.
If only Ann hadn’t decided to point and yell “Hailey… sorryidon’tknowyourlastname, I challenge you to a pit battle!
“There is no reason we have to do this, we can just go back to the tent!” Hailey yelled, but her so called partners were apparently deciding to ignore her.
She had tried to say no after Ann had made her proclamation out of nowhere, but that was swept away as the people and Mon around them drown her out with roars, cheers, and catcalls (mostly aimed at Ann herself, or Gem who seemed to be drinking in the attention). There was already another pair down in the pit but the crowd was contriving, seemingly autonomously, to herd them around the edge to where Gardenia was. The worst part was that Pomona was just going along with it, pushing her chair while Gem strutted in front!
“Do not be dramatic Hailey, it is not like this is going to be a full trainer battle, you will not even be down in the pit.”
“But I’m not a trainer! We haven’t even talked about battles! I thought we were just going to travel… and stuff.”
“The second time you met me I was almost facedown in the dirt from brawling.” Gem shot back over her shoulder.
“Yeah, cause you were going through some shit!”
“I was.” She shrugged, “But Pokémon and battles go together like, well, Plusle and Minun, the only thing I was doing wrong was just jumping people instead of asking.”
“It’s still nuts! We don’t have any experience, or at least I certainly don’t!”
Gem just shrugged. “Then we lose, would hardly be the first time for me.”
“But then everyone will see you, so why would you want to…” Pomona squeezed her shoulder, a small bit of noticeable pressure.
“Why would we want to? Cause it’s fun! The crowd, the anticipation, the clash of body on body, the... Hailey?” She’d buried her head in her hands at this point, which actually threw a bit of a hitch into Gem’s voice.
“Hey, listen, if this really bothers you we can just go, but I think you’re taking this to seriously, it’s for fun!”
“What could possibly be fun about fumbling in front of hundreds of people?!” She was practically wailing now.
“Hailey! I’m hurt! Have a little faith in your partners!” Gem laughed.
“They’re going to fold you in half!”
“Arceus, I hope so, make sure you watch!”
