Chapter 67: Mother Theodora’s Training
"I can’t believe we got accepted so quickly..."
During breakfast at the cafeteria, Kalon took a risky move, asking Thea to join him.
Usually, she would sit and eat with her friends, but that day she seemed excited to switch things up and sit with him.
Her friends looked at her the entire time.
Not strangely, like they normally would if they saw someone interacting with him, but rather jealously.
Ever since Kalon had become the topic of conversation, people had wanted to speak to him but couldn’t find the courage to.
How could they?
After all, they had sat and watched him get bullied for months.
They knew that if they switched up all of a sudden, they would only end up embarrassing themselves.
Worst of all was the fact that Kalon was finally attractive enough to attract women even without his status.
He was starting to look much more well put together.
On top of that, he also had that calm personality that many of the guys at the school lacked.
"By the way, did you get plastic surgery?"
Kalon was pulled away from his thoughts by Thea’s sudden question.
Today she wore her blue hair in two buns that resembled bunny ears.
Kalon wondered whether there might ever be a planet with women who actually looked like bunnies.
"Do I look like the type to get surgery?" he replied.
"No, not at all. But every day you seem to look more..."
Thea’s words trailed off.
A smile spread across Kalon’s face.
"Handsome?" he asked.
Thea tried to hide the fact that her cheeks had started to blush slightly, but it was impossible.
Eventually, she shook her head, freeing herself from her thoughts.
"Anyways... I forgot to tell you, my mother wants you to come and visit again. Now that we’ve been accepted, she’s talking about training us."
"Your mum wants to train us?"
"Yes, starting from today."
Kalon was pleasantly surprised.
Training with the ranked #1 fighter of an organisation was not only a way to gain a great amount of experience towards becoming a High-Silver rank, but it was also an opportunity.
Theodora Bluegale was a part of the True Fighters, one of the top five organisations in the country.
She could personally get him a recommendation, and potentially a sponsorship.
Of course, Kalon’s ideal and dream sponsor was the Ten Dragons, but since they had not reached out to him yet, he was thinking about other options.
"I’ll be there this evening."
"Good. Oh, and by the way, if she says anything... weird, please just ignore her," Thea added.
Kalon was not sure what she was hinting at, but he noticed that the girl’s cheeks started blushing.
Not only that, but she seemed to subconsciously look down at her breasts.
...
Later that day...
Kalon arrived at the Bluegale House once again, but this time he was feeling more nervous than before.
Theodora and Thea Bluegale were both waiting for him by the doorstep.
Theodora stood roughly 5’9" tall and was dressed in black shorts and a white buttoned shirt with puffy sleeves.
Both items of clothing did a terrible job of hiding her curves. Her heavy breasts seemed to want to burst through the buttons, and the black shorts clung tightly to both her front and back, highlighting both plump areas.
As for Thea, she was smaller, yet equally as stunning. She wore the black academy training jumpsuit, which detailed every curve of her body. Her medium-sized breasts were perky and her hips wide.
When they spotted Kalon, who was dressed in loose black joggers and a white shirt, he found them both eyeing the way the shirt was tight around his body.
You could see the musculature of his arms, as well as the outline of his abs and chest.
Thea blushed slightly after noticing she was staring.
Theodora stared harder.
The ranked #1 fighter of the True Fighters was very forward.
"Young Kalon, glad to see you again. I hope you’re ready to have everything squeezed out of you today!" Theodora said, slapping a hand down on his shoulder.
Her daughter blushed brighter.
"M-mother..."
Before she could point out that the wording was odd, her mother was already dragging the pair into the garden.
...
Once there, Kalon and Thea stood side by side, facing off against Theodora.
The woman stood there with her puffy sleeves blowing in the wind.
Kalon was distracted by her body.
"Now, we’ll keep it simple today. All I want you to do is attack me as a group without using skills. Don’t hold back, and try to work well with each other. This will be the foundation that you’ll use in the tournament."
After hearing Theodora’s explanation, Kalon and Thea looked at each other.
Then they nodded.
The fight began.
With his strength being buffed to A-rank, Kalon knew that his tactic should be to focus on landing a hit.
If he could, even Theodora, who was likely Diamond-rank, would feel the force.
The problem was, hitting her was impossible.
Kalon and Thea attacked at the same time.
They threw kicks and punches from all directions at the taller woman.
None of them hit. At least not cleanly.
It was as though Theodora had eyes everywhere.
Strikes came at her from all angles, yet somehow she managed to manoeuvre her body in ways that allowed them to fly right past her.
If she couldn’t dodge, she would brush the attacks away effortlessly using every part of her body.
At one point, Kalon’s punch was even deflected by the woman’s bountiful chest.
...
Five minutes later, Kalon and Thea had both failed to land a hit and were now facing the results of their lacking stamina.
They sat on the floor, sweating and out of breath, whilst Theodora stood over them, dry and smiling.
"You fight well together, but your stamina is too low. I’m guessing high D-ranks, low C-ranks?"
...
She was right about both of them.
Theodora laughed.
"That’s what we’ll focus on for now, just hand-to-hand combat and stamina. It isn’t your skills that need work after all, since you both have an affinity."
Two actually...
...
With that, Theodora left the pair on the grass to catch their breath. She said she had somewhere to go.
But before she left, she gave them one very specific instruction.
Have a bath.
When she said it, she looked at Kalon and winked, but Thea didn’t see it.
...
He had a feeling he knew what she was hinting at.
