Chapter 63: A Warm Invitation

Chapter 63: A Warm Invitation

“Raphael!”

When Raphael opened the door, the first thing he saw was his roommate, Harian, greeting him with a warm smile while calling out his name. Excitement brimmed in his golden irises as he flashed him the items held in his hand.

“Oh, Harian.” Raphael was caught by surprise. He blinked and tilted his head to the side, noticing the items being held up. It looked like a ticket to a show or something.

“Umm, what is this?”

“I got you concert tickets for my show next Saturday!” Harian gleefully replied, waving two tickets in his face.

Raphael took them from his hand. “Oh, thanks. But two?”

“Hmmm…thought that you could invite someone else over, like a friend?” Harian explained and nudged his side. “Or… perhaps, a date?”

“D-date?” Raphael felt his cheeks flaring up in seconds, and his mind began racing with questions. But who? Who else could he give this extra ticket to? W-wait…. Isn’t Antonio an avid fan of his?

“Not necessarily a date, silly.” Harian laughed it off as he passed by, grabbing a coat hanging by the clothing rack on the wall. “Well, I’ll leave that up to you. Besides, you got a lot of time to think about.”

Raphael looked up at his friend with a sigh. He was not wrong about that. Then, he noticed his friend all dressed up for an occasion, not exactly formal, with the well-pressed dress shirt paired with an A-line dark denim long skirt. A fashion choice sitting in between femininity and masculinity had him second-guessing his identity. He shook his head, snapping back to reality.

“You seemed busy…going somewhere soon?” Raphael wondered.

While giving himself a lip gloss touch-up in front of the mirror before smacking his lips together, Harian replied. “Yeah. The company’s inviting me over for dinner. It’s the usual stuff.”

“Fair enough. Hope you enjoy it regardless.”

“Thanks! —Oh!” Harian exclaimed, pulling out a sticky note attached to the notebook on the desk. “I almost forgot. Antonio came by early in the afternoon looking for you.”

“Antonio? Why?”

Harian shrugged his shoulders. “Dunno, but he would not tell me, so he left this.”

Raphael took the note from his fingers and read its contents.

Add me on Itsagram ASAP. @itsme_tonio

After hanging out with them for the past few days—a week or two- this was the first time actually gotten one of their socials. Ironic, isn’t it? But he did have Harian’s number and Sylvia’s Diskord—wait, is she even considered a friend?

He never really bothered asking them, but receiving this one felt different, a churn in his gut. For once, he was feeling a bit curious and excited at the same time.

“Antonio insisted that you reach him out asap,” Harian added.

“Alright. I’ll do it then.”

Harian smiled at him, patting him on the shoulder as he walked past him. "Oh, don't forget to watch my MV release tomorrow."

“Eh? What time?”

“Should be around 7 pm, and a live broadcast afterwards.”

Raphael nodded. “I’ll take note of that.”

“Alrighty then. I’ll take my leave, Raphael.” Harian approached the door and twisted the knob. The door creaked open. Before taking another step outside, he turned over his shoulder and glanced at him.

A smile appeared once more on his face, warm and comforting, before he waved farewell. “See ya!”

“Take care and see you too.” Raphael bade goodbye, watching him leave the room as the door shut right behind him.

As soon as Harian left, the soft buzzing of the fairy lights filled the room, reminding Raphael of the silence whenever he had the place all by himself. He did not mind. He was pretty much used to it even at home.

Then, he held the tickets closer to his face, taking a better look at the design, details, and information. Harian's image, with his arms wide open, was plastered in the center. However, he noticed that in the picture, his hair was longer, flowing down to his waist, giving a more feminine appearance.

He realized. “So, this is 'Ari'?”

It was Raphael’s first time seeing this version of him up close, the rising idol who made their heads turn and had sent fans into a frenzy of squeals and praises. To him, he was still his roommate, Harian. Nothing’s changed.

Carefully, he placed the tickets on his desk, tucking them underneath the notebooks for safekeeping. Then, he sat at the edge of his bed with a phone in his hand.

“Now… what does this guy want from me?”

He opened the app, Itsagram, and searched for Antonio’s username indicated in the note. There, a familiar profile appeared among the list with that face: a smug grin and raised eyebrows. It reminded him of the same expression whenever his brows would wiggle across his forehead. He chuckled softly at the thought and followed him.

Ping!

A notification popped up immediately as Antonio sent him a message. Raphael opened it up and saw another invite to a group chat.

Antonio: Yo! Join up in the discussion quickly!

“A chat group? Hope it’s the rest of them.” Raphael thought before accepting the invitation.

Once he joined the group, message after message began spamming in his notification bar, catching him off guard. He had never experienced this much activity in this app, which was exciting, in all honesty. After clicking on the messages, he saw familiar names in the group: Antonio, Feyline, and Alexis, even including Robin and Judy from Class B.

They seemed to be discussing something, assigning each other tasks like some school project. He typed in and asked.

Raphael: Hey, guys. What’s going on here?

Feyline: Oh! It’s Raphael! Welcommeeeee

Judy: Really? Welcome too!

Robin: Whoa! That’s a surprise.

Antonio: Yessir! Finally got him here.

Alexis: Just a heads up. Check the pinned message.

When he hovered his thumb over the pinned message, it was a watch party event in Antonio’s dorm room tomorrow for Harian's new MV release. He let out a smile.

Raphael: Watch party? Count me in.

Antonio: Yes! Yes! Bring some snacks over tomorrow.

Raphael: Understood. Anything else?

Alexis: Oh! Help me set up banners for Harian.

Feyline: Boo! Why can’t we join your watch party?

Judy: I wish we could, Fey. It’s just the two of us.

Feyline: Yeah, no fair!

Robin: Girls, you know the rules.

Feyline: This sucks! I’m busting in!

Antonio: lmao. Fey, I bet you cant.

Judy: N-no! Chill, Fey!

The chat continued on and on, lifting the corners of his mouth for some time as he laughed at their interactions. Unfortunately for them, the watch party is strictly for men only.

“Ah… that’s unfortunate. Might have been fun with everyone around.” He thought.

Then, he settled on the bed, lying on his back against the sheets with his head on the pillows whilst replying to the conversation.

For once, using his phone never felt so exciting. It gave him a new reason to chat with his friends online. It was something he could look forward to from now on.

It was still early in the evening; about half an hour had passed since dinner service finished. The central hall was filled with students from different wings, gathered to have a chat with their friends.

Meanwhile, the rooms on the ground floor, a section off-limits to students, where some staff members chose to stay, were a realm on their own. Silence filled the area beyond the noise from the central hall. Only a few corridor lights lit up the place, but not enough to brighten the hallway.

In one of the rooms tucked in the quiet end corner, where no light reached, a faint sound came from behind the thick, dark oak door.

Soft, ragged breaths and muffled voices.

The room inside was barely lit; only the faint moonlight peeking through the window pane illuminated the objects and furniture.

Two figures appeared from the shadows: one lying on the bed and another positioned on top of the other, sitting at the groin. The wooden bedframe creaked softly in a slow rhythm as she began moving up and down. The tips of her fringes bounced on her shoulders, revealing the signature flaming orange whenever the moonlight touched her.

The man underneath her gripped her hips and grunted in his breath. He demanded in a whisper. “Sylvia…Faster….”

Sylvia rolled her eyes and began hastening the pace. The bed continued rocking back and forth, following her movement. In return, he pounded harder against her, pushing his hips upward to meet hers. She fell forward, caught by surprise, with her hands against his shoulders to support herself.

She glanced at the expression on his face— cold and stoic, with no trace of excitement. She was used to seeing him like that, as if that would change.

"Ah... Callahan," she moaned. "You're being rough with me tonight."

"Uhh. On purpose." He grunted while trying to explain. "You kept stirring more trouble...more work for me."

Sylvia laughed. "Ah, really?... Is it the Predators?"

"Of course…. It seemed like they would be another extension of their suspension… after breaking the protocol."

“Hm? Then, they deserved it.”

Sylvia felt his rough hands brushing against her skin, going up towards her chest. The warmth coming from his palms settled over there, squeezing them gently, the complete opposite of the intense pounding inside her.

Callahan spoke again. “Pretty sure you were involved somehow."

A soft moan escaped from her lips when his fingers pinched her tips, feeling them being pulled against her movement. That was not nice.

Sylvia replied, panting. "Ah, perhaps…. But it was not my fault… ha…ha… they started it."

Callahan sighed. "As expected."

"Ah, don't you think they are done for good?” She bit her lip, suppressing another moan while he tugged them harder once more. “... The student council is on them."

His brows furrowed as his eyes wandered in the other direction, a trace of doubt etched on his face as he thought deeply. Sylvia noticed his pace slowed, losing the momentum he had asked for, and his grip softened.

He got distracted.

There…there… He has loosened up.

A mischievous grin curled from the corners of her lips. Immediately, she pushed herself up, now sitting upright, and began grinding her hips against him, more deliberately.

Callahan failed to realize that she had seized control over him.

"No... apparently. Someone else was working with them..." He spoke up with his brow twitching while reaching out to her thighs to grip them. Sylvia dialed up a notch, quickening the pace.

"Oh? That’s interesting…" She leered down, watching him struggle as his breath became shallow.

"Haa….haa…It's not yet over... ugh.” He grunted, but this time, his hips bucked forward, feeling him pounding inside her once more.

Sylvia closed her eyes and bit down her lip, resisting the urge to moan. A few seconds more….

Callahan let out a long exhale.

A slight pulse throbbed inside her groin, feeling the pressure build-up from releasing his load into her. It slipped out, limp and wet. The condom wrapped around it appeared bloated from all the semen, dripping out from the base. It had only been a few days since their last intercourse, and he still managed to store this much load.

Sylvia sighed. "Thought you would last longer, Mr. Callahan."

"D-damn…. Is it…. too early?” Callahan huffed, still catching his breath while feeling a bit dazed. “Guess… I-I can't keep up with you."

She crawled on all fours and reached a hand to his cheek, caressing it gently. "Then, my punishment is over."

His face contorted into confusion as Sylvia leaned in closer and pecked the corner of his lips. Then, she stood up and grabbed a robe hanging by the chair.

"W-wait... Sylvia.... don't you need to—" Callahan called out in desperation.

Sylvia glanced at him and smiled. "It's fine. Callahan."

“Please…stay.”

He begged, but she ignored him this time while pulling the robe over her shoulders. That was enough for her punishment.

Without a single word, Sylvia turned around and left the room.
