Chapter 44 Predators: Recess
Predators: Recess
"Can you believe what they said?!"Emma Huang exclaimed, standing up from her seat as she sighed in frustration. Her fingers squeezed the canned soda in her hand, crushing it from her grip as the aluminum made a crinkling sound.
“Like what the actual fuck does she want us to do? Treat us like servants?”
“Suspension and community service, huh?” The tall woman beside her spoke up in a low husky voice, while stirring the warm cup of coffee with her hand before taking a sip.
“Well, it's not like we can do anything about it."
"Hmph. I frickin’ hate the Student Council. Such a pain in the ass!” Emma declared, pouting her lips. She turned her head to the tall figure sitting next to her. “Don’t you agree with me, Tanya-jie?”
"Of course." Tanya scoffed, smirking. “And I assume that excludes you.”
“Hah! I am clearly better than them. Don’t lump me with those bitches and nerds.”
Tanya sighed deeply, shaking her head before turning her attention to the other student right in front of her. "How about you, Sylvia— Are you worried? "
Sylvia had been sitting at the edge of the table with her legs crossed, swinging her feet off the ground. Her gaze turned up to the sky, watching the clouds passing by. There was a long silence around them as the two waited patiently for her reply.
She tilted her head to the side, turning towards them as she spoke up in nonchalance. "Hm? Why should I be worried?”
The other two glanced at each other for a moment before gazing back at her in wonder. Sylvia shook her head slightly as she let out a soft condescending chuckle.
“As long as Callahan’s by our side, no one can do anything."
Emma skipped around the bench as she approached her side." Eh? You really trust him a lot... How sure are you, jiejie?"
"He has no other choice... After all, his life is on the line." Sylvia snorted, glancing in Emma’s direction with a small grin, slowly curving out from her lips. She assured her. "So, worry not."
"If Sylvia says so, then I wouldn't be worried then." Tanya agreed.
As Sylvia leaned back slightly on the table, the smirk on her face slowly widened. “Exactly. He will take care of everything. But for the meantime, we need to stay low.”
"Ooh~ That means I can still play with him, right?" Emma’s eyes lit with mischief.
"Adrian?" Sylvia raised her brow, watching as Emma nodded eagerly. She waved her hand dismissively. "Sure. Don't make it obvious..."
“Yaaass!”
Emma squealed excitedly, jumping from her spot in circles. Then she stopped beside the table, bending over the edge and fishing for something underneath.
A soft faux leather leash was pulled by her fingertips, tugging it twice to signal from the opposite end where the leash was attached. A man dragged himself out on the ground, breathing heavily with his tongue out, while crawling on all fours with disheveled hair and clothes. His face curved into a nervous smile, looking up at them.
" Y-yes… Master?" His voice cracked into stutters while still catching his breath as he greeted her softly.
"Nee Adrian-didi, you heard her, right?" Emma cooed affectionately in his ear as she crouched right in front of him. Then, she leaned back to look him in the eye, smiling mischievously. "We can still have fun and play together."
The leash in her fingers tugged hard once more, pulling him an inch closer to her face. Her warm breath hovered above his lips, making his skin quiver from the proximity, before she spoke once more with her voice dropping low as she sternly commanded.
"Now, sit."
Adrian nodded quickly, sitting upright with his hands tucked over his chest and looking straight across the greenery in the garden. His body still trembled as sweat trickled down his forehead, and his eyes nervously blinked a couple of times, trying to stay focused.
The sun loomed above the trees as its rays passed through the branches and leaves, reaching the ground where the group had been sitting. It was still the last few days of spring, but the scorching heat had drastically changed the weather for the upcoming summer.
“Emma, isn’t it time for it?” Tanya reminded her in a condescending tone, while staring down at Adrian, sending him chills down his spine as he flinched.
"Hmmm...really?" Emma's face scrunched up in wonder, tapping her chin with her fingertips as if she had forgotten something. Then something clicked in her mind as she gasped.
“Oh, right! I almost forgot.”
Tanya scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Thought so. Here."
Her fingers pushed the slightly crushed canned soda to the edge of the table, bringing it closer for her to reach. Immediately, Emma grabbed it, waving it above Adrian's face while grinning widely.
“Didi, you must be thirsty…”
Then, her free hand forcibly pulled his chin up, digging her manicured fingers into his soft skin as she commanded in an endearing tone.
“Say ah~.”
Adrian swallowed a lump before he obliged, opening his mouth slowly. “Ah—”
As soon as he opened up, Emma poured in the drink like a steady stream, followed by Adrian’s desperate chugging when the cold drink hit the tip of his tongue, coating all over the crevices of his mouth, and swallowing it hard to quench his thirst. It continued to drip more, filling him up quickly inside as he kept drinking until the last drop. His uniform slowly became drenched with the drink as it continued spilling out of his lips and trickling down his throat.
Suddenly, he began choking, coughing up excess liquid in his mouth while clawing frantically at her hand to breathe. Emma still gripped him firmly, watching him struggle with a wicked smile across her face. Once the final drop landed on his lips, she released him, pushing him to the ground.
“Good boy.” She complimented, followed by a playful chuckle.
Adrian still coughed, writhing on the ground and catching his breath. The three of them hovered above him, quietly enjoying the sight with wicked smiles forming on their lips.

“Ah~ How cute,” Tanya remarked with excitement in her eyes.
“Too bad, you are all soiled up,” Sylvia commented as well, scoffing while rolling her eyes.
“Aww. Ya good, didi?”
Emma pouted her lips as she leaned in closer, rubbing her hand above his head and ruffling the locks of his hair to comfort him. Adrian just lowered his face.
He didn’t move.
He didn’t speak.
From a distance, the school bells began to chime like dissonant blares, signaling that the recess break had just ended. Frustrated sighs and groans broke the silence as the group whined in protest.
“Ugh— Really? Talk about perfect timing.”
“Nooo... We just started!”
"Guess it's time to head back," Sylvia suggested, stretching out her arms and legs before hopping off the table. Then, she turned around slightly, looking back at them as she reminded them once more.
"Also, remember to stay low-key for the meantime, okay?"
The two nodded simultaneously.
Sylvia smiled back at them before she began walking out with the heels of her shoes clicking against the pavement to leave.
Meanwhile, as Emma began uncuffing Adrian’s leash and collar, releasing him from his constraints, she petted him once more. “There, you’re good to go, didi.”
"See you around, pet," Tanya muttered softly while looming above him with a dangerous grin. She stood there for a second longer before she turned around, beckoning. “Let’s go, Emma.”
“Coming, jiejie~” Emma quickly rose from her spot, swaying her hips and arms as she pranced towards Tanya, trailing right behind her.
The two of them casually began walking down the path, chatting and laughing at each other as if nothing had happened. Their voices slowly began to disappear in the distance.
Behind the shadows of the nearby trees, camera shutters clicked, capturing the scene as a figure stood hidden, holding the equipment in hand with a smirk on its face.
“Perfect...”
