Chapter 39 Obsession – Hallucination [ANNOUNCEMENT]
Obsession - Hallucination
In a dimly lit room, the sheets rustled, shifting to the sides, and the bed creaked from the sudden movement.A faint blue glow from a device cast shadows over the room, illuminating a figure lying down comfortably over the thick covers. As the light shone on her face, her vibrant orange locks lit up, splayed all over the pillows. Her green irises glinted in the dark.
Sylvia bit her lower lip, holding the phone closer to her face as she stared intently at the image imprinted on her screen.
Raphael’s photo— dress shirt open, chest exposed, and that guilty expression on his face.
She carefully traced her body with her hand, sliding it underneath her camisole top, feeling the warmth of her skin as she caressed her breasts and teasing her sensitive tips between her fingers.
How would he react if she touched him like this?
She wondered.
Her lips parted in a soft moan as her body twitched from the sensation.
“Raphael. . .” she whispered.
She recalled how flustered his face turned when she leaned closer to him, and the sudden jolt of his body when her knees pressed against him.
How frickin’ cute.
Her hand slid further down, slipping into her underwear. As her legs spread apart, her breath hitched sharply, biting her lip to suppress a moan.
Then, she remembered.
His soft, reluctant moan replayed in her mind like a broken recorder, slowly filling her hunger. She felt ecstatic upon hearing him make that sound.
Ah, yes. . . I need to hear more.
More. . . more. . .
She breathed heavily, panting as her fingers sank deeper inside, moving back and forth with her hips. The bed creaked against her movement.
While her eyes remained fixated on the same picture, zooming in on his face, suddenly, it darkened as the chat refreshed.
The photo disappeared.
Sylvia paused. Her eyes blinked once as her panting stopped. Then, she let out a low, breathy chuckle, clutching her stomach.
“Oh, Raphael... do you really think it’s completely gone just like that?” she murmured under her breath, eyes glinting with dark amusement.
She turned to her side, holding her phone with both hands. She tapped the screen, opening the gallery. Inside, a private folder labeled ‘Play Thing’ appeared.
Her fingers hovered above it and pressed
A Row of pictures filled the screen, all photos of Raphael—even edited screenshots from chat, showing his flustered face, his quivering lips, the accidental robe slip, and the recent addition, added a few minutes ago, his guilty exposure.
A wide, dangerous smile slowly formed across her lips.
“Ah... too bad. I own them.”
Then, she pressed on her favorite picture, zooming it in once again. Her breath slowly exhaled as her fingers slipped in between her thighs before resuming her rhythmic movements.
Squelching.

Gradually, her breathing and moaning became louder and unrestrained.
"Ah, yes!"
"Ah, ah~."
Her head spun, feeling the pressure building up as she imagined Raphael slipping inside and thrusting deep into her body.
Then, she arched her back, throwing her head up as she exhaled a long, deep, raspy moan from her lips in an orgasm.
She never felt this fucking good just from thinking about him.
Her body twitched, convulsing from the pleasure all over her body.
Inside, she felt her walls pulsating as the pressure had been released, dampening her fingers and underwear with a sticky residue.
For a moment, her mind went blank, staring up at the ceiling, still feeling the aftermath of her release.
Then, the pounding on her chest slowly settled down. Her shallow breaths slowed down as she relaxed.
A deep breath was exhaled from her lips.
She did it.
Still, she wanted more.
Her eyes darkened as a wicked grin appeared on her lips.
“You will be mine, Raphael.”

Buzz!
Buzz!
A low, insistent vibrating hum muffled underneath the sheets, brushing against Raphael’s fingertips.
His eyes shot open, sitting straight, his chest hammering wildly, while gasping sharply for breath. For a split second, his mind internally screamed.
Who’s calling me at this hour?
W-wait. . .
Did she message me again?
He fumbled under the covers, frantically patting the fabric with the palm of his hand until he felt the vibration of the phone, yanking it out.
The screen flashed on his face as his eyes squinted.
4:40 AM
It was just the alarm ringing.
Raphael exhaled deeply, sighing in relief as he tapped the stop button. He had forgotten about his set alarm for the morning routine.
Calm down.
It’s nothing more than an alarm.
Even after deleting the photo, the unease lingered at the back of his mind; he opened the app once more to check.
No new message.
Photo still gone.
His back slumped against the headboard, clenching his chest, feeling his pulse racing. He was getting paranoid. Way too paranoid.
So . . . It’s gone. Nothing’s wrong.
But why am I still feeling uneasy?
Once the pounding in his chest subsided, he carefully dragged himself out of bed, standing upright and stretching his arms.
Right, I should go out for a jog.
He quietly thought to himself.
As soon as he finished prepping himself for his morning routine, he stepped out of the room, glancing over his shoulder towards Harian, who seemed to be still fast asleep underneath the sheets.
Raphael smiled and shut the door right behind him.
The sun had not yet risen from the horizon, painting the sky in muted gradients of dark blues and purples, while the moon loomed above, casting shadows by the tall pine trees around the courtyard.
A soft breeze blew past the trees, rustling their leaves, disturbing the tranquility and silence of the surroundings.
No one is around.
Not even a single creature.
Raphael entered the courtyard, quietly marveling at the scenic view in awe, wondering how he had missed this scene.
As the cold breeze passed by, he breathed in, getting a whiff of fresh air while his shoulders dropped down, feeling the wind coming through the crevice of his jacket.
“Okay. Let’s get going.”
He checked his wristwatch.
Time: 4:52 AM
Then, he started the timer before taking off for a jog.
About twenty-five minutes later, footsteps came forward in long strides towards the entrance. Raphael had finished his five-kilometer run as he slowed down, halting right beneath a tree to catch his breath and sweating profusely.
The dopamine rush after exercising sent overwhelming satisfaction and relief all over him. As he looked over his watch, a smile curved out of his lips.
He beat his previous record.
Time: 5:17 AM
Steps: 5 KM
That felt so good.
After finishing his morning exercise, Raphael returned to the dorms, casually walking into the entrance.
Then, he noticed some distant lights in the main hall.
He approached the door, taking a peek at the glass panes, seeing the kitchen at the back end of the room bustling with workers to prepare breakfast.
Oh, breakfast service on a Saturday?
He was mildly surprised. From what he had read online, meal services in dorms during weekends typically go for brunch, but not here in the Academy.
After having a closer look, he turned around, moving towards the male wing and heading back to his own room.
Upon reaching the third floor, the hallways were still dimmed, not a single light coming from the rooms nearby.
The vending machine in the middle hummed softly as he passed by. Just silence – no loud noise, no creaking of doors and bed, and not even voices talking behind the walls.
Then, he made a sharp turn at the corner as another row of rooms appeared, going towards his dorm. He quietly walked on the floorboards.
From the corner of his eye, he noticed something moving in the shadows at the end of the corridor.
He stopped.
His eyes squinted hard, looking closely at the darkest corner of the hall. There, he saw it again, shifting.
A figure stood in the shadows, a few inches in front of his dorm room, wearing a black loose hoodie that hung low to the knee, baggy joggers, and a pair of grey sneakers.
Raphael swallowed a lump.
Who is this?
The figure turned slowly towards him, staring intently as if recognizing his presence.

Hands stuffed deep inside the pockets of his jacket. Face covered in black, like staring at the void.
Not a breath.
Not a sound.
Raphael stood there frozen, eyes widened. Before he could even realize, the figure carefully moved forward in small steps.
Instinctively, Raphael moved back, afraid of whatever was coming next, yet his eyes remained fixed, watching every move.
Quickly, the figure shifted his direction towards the nearby corridor, walking away swiftly.
As soon as Raphael saw him leave, he rushed, hoping to catch a glimpse of the mysterious figure.
Once he reached that corridor, the man disappeared.
No footsteps.
No figure from a distance.
Raphael furrowed his brows, looking around the place.
The figure was gone.
He rubbed his eyes thoroughly before blinking twice, puzzled by the incident.
Wasn’t that the same hoodie guy he saw every morning?
But what is he doing in front of the room?
As he turned his back, several questions came flowing into his mind – a ghost? A real person? Or just a figment of his imagination?
He couldn’t tell.
He tried to shrug it off as she shook his head, thinking it was just the last night’s mess getting to him once again.
It’s probably a hallucination.
