My Yandere Wives Keep Making Me Stronger

Chapter 96: Talent Test: Shocking Display of Talent

In the Principal’s office, Lucien and the others sat down. Only Alexia remained standing, positioned behind Lucien like a silent bodyguard.

He could have dismissed her, but his wives had been the first to object. They didn’t want her retreating back into his body.

"Well, young Lucien, even though you didn’t complete the assessment due to special circumstances, we’ve decided to enroll you. We don’t want to lose a talent like you."

The Principal said, leaning forward slightly. His arms rested on the table, fingers intertwined, his chin perched on them as he studied Lucien.

"But there’s an issue. Even though we have a rough sketch, we are still unaware of your talent. That’s a basic requirement for you to enroll into the academy."

The Principal continued, his expression serious.

He had tried to scan Lucien before. To know his cultivation and talent. But to him, Lucien appeared as nothing more than a weak mortal. He didn’t believe that, of course. That’s why when he visited Lucien and got no result, he told him to come see him.

Lucien had guessed this reason. His Primordial Anchor Body concealed his true nature. But something else was still bothering him. Which talent should he reveal?

Thunder, Wind, and Fire Origin Elements were compulsory. He had already shown these to people, so he couldn’t avoid them. He needed one more element to make up for it.

His lips curled unconsciously. He knew exactly what talent he would show.

"Okay, Principal. But wouldn’t we need a machine to test it, or something else?" Lucien said, scanning the office. He saw nothing that could test his talent.

The Principal smiled. "I don’t think we need that. You can just display it. I am enough to test it."

Lucien met his gaze. The old man’s eyes were sharp, waiting.

"Alright," Lucien said slowly.

He partially removed the concealment feature of his physique. He raised the forefinger of his right hand.

At the tip of the finger, golden lightning moved. Lucien willed it, and it spread throughout his entire right palm. The air in the room grew heavy. A low, resonant hum filled the space, vibrating through the floor and walls. The ancient tomes on the shelves trembled slightly. The fireplace flames flickered, casting dancing shadows across the room. A faint pressure descended on everyone present, not oppressive, but undeniable.

The Principal, watching closely, raised his eyebrows in surprise.

’The aura of his lightning has surpassed S-Grade. Impossible, it’s been centuries since such a talent existed. Well, for the monsters beside him, they are different. But this is still remarkable.’

He thought, his eyes narrowing with interest.

Lucien didn’t stop there. The lightning and thunder disappeared, replaced by the wind origin element. A gentle breeze swirled around his palm, condensing into a small vortex that hummed with power. The wind grew stronger, filling the room with a soft, howling sound. Papers rustled on the desk. Books fluttered open, their pages turning as if stirred by an invisible hand. The pressure in the room shifted, becoming sharper, more refined.

The Principal’s sharp eyes tracked every movement. He realized that Lucien’s talent was on par with the thunder origin element.

’Even with Sylas’s feedback, I didn’t expect his wind and thunder to be beyond S-Grade. They feel like the legendary SS-Grade. It seems we have acquired a great talent.’

His expression was satisfied, but then he saw that Lucien wasn’t finished. His interest deepened.

’Wait, he’s not done. Haha, young Lucien, let’s see what surprise you have for me from your bloodline.’

The wind vanished. In its place, a small green sprout emerged from Lucien’s palm, growing rapidly into a tiny plant with glowing, emerald leaves. The room filled with the scent of fresh earth and blooming life. The ground beneath them seemed to pulse gently with energy. The pressure shifted again, becoming warmer, more alive.

The Principal’s composure cracked further.

’Three SS-Rank Talents. Impossible. No, not impossible, but how can his talent be this strong?’

He didn’t even know when he laughed out loud. A genuine, booming laugh of pure excitement, echoing through the office.

Lilith and Seraphina watched this too. They also had no idea of the full extent of Lucien’s talents. Their eyes were fixed on him, curiosity and pride mingling in their gazes.

Lucien smirked when he saw the Principal laugh.

’Let’s take things to the next level.’

Everyone watched as the plant disappeared. The Principal was expecting another talent from Lucien’s bloodline. Something rare. Something ancient.

But Lucien disappointed them with something far more shocking.

A flame lit up at the tip of his right hand forefinger.

It was small at first, barely a spark. But then it grew. The flame expanded, swirling into a vibrant, golden-orange blaze that danced with an almost sentient grace. The temperature in the room climbed instantly. The air shimmered with heat. The fireplace in the corner roared to life, its flames reaching toward Lucien’s fire as if paying homage.

The Principal’s eyes narrowed. Then they widened.

’Another SS-Rank? No, wait... this is stronger than SS-Rank. Could it be...? No, that can’t be possible.’

He couldn’t believe it. He checked further, making sure he made no mistake. But what his senses told him made him freeze.

’SSS-Rank.’

His heart stopped. Then it pounded against his ribs like a war drum.

’Hahahaha... I never thought I would see something that only exists in legends. It seems Heaven has favoured my academy.’

The Principal’s composure cracked. His hands trembled slightly. He wanted to laugh, to roar with pure, unbridled excitement. But he held it in, trying to maintain his image. The effort was almost painful.

Seraphina’s expression didn’t change. She was aware of this. She had always known. But Lilith was a bit surprised, her crimson eyes widening slightly.

Lucien looked at the old man and noticed the changes in his calm face. The slight tremor in his hands. The glint in his sharp eyes. The barely contained excitement.

’It seems I’ve underestimated the Principal’s knowledge a bit. But this is to my benefit. I’ve now confirmed that SSS-Grade Talent exists in Aethelgard. And with this, I’ll have no problem accessing resources. It was worth the risk.’

But he wasn’t done yet.

Lucien smirked.

He opened his left hand this time. A metallic sheen spread across his palm. Silver. Gleaming. Sharp. The air grew cold, heavy, and dense. A faint clinking sound echoed through the room, like the clash of distant swords. The walls seemed to shudder. The Principal’s sharp eyes locked onto the metal, and his breath caught in his throat.

Everywhere became silent like graveyard.
