The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel

Chapter 164: Cisco’s Shock

You can not lead a battle if you think you look silly on a horse.

With Barry’s enthusiastic help, Hillel rented a high-end apartment with two bedrooms and one living room.

The twenty-fourth floor.

The huge floor-to-ceiling windows provided an unobstructed view of Central City’s scenery, and occasionally headlights would illuminate Central City.

Barry readily lent him five thousand bucks and paid half a year’s rent.

As a crime scene investigator for the Central City Police Department, Barry’s salary was actually quite generous. Although this sum of money was not a small amount for him, he could still afford it.

That night, just as Hillel had tidied up the house a bit, the doorbell rang.

Opening the door, he saw Barry, Caitlin, and Cisco standing at the doorway carrying large and small bags.

Hillel was somewhat puzzled. "You guys... aren’t you busy with the big war against Zoom? How do you still have the leisure to come over to my place to party!"

Caitlin smiled slightly and handed over a box of desserts. "This is a ritual to welcome a new friend. You have no family or friends in Central City, but starting today, we can be your friends."

Cisco poked his head out from the side and added, "Provided that you don’t blow our heads off."

Barry and Caitlin turned their heads at the same time and glared at Cisco speechlessly.

"Why are you looking at me like that!" Cisco shrank his neck and spread his hands. "You guys didn’t see how terrifying his slap was during the day. I’m a bit scared, you know!"

Hillel grinned. "Rest assured, Cisco, I’m a hero like Himmel and not the demon lord, and I’m not moody to that extent. As long as you don’t step on my landmines, I am a pure good guy, even gentler than a capybara!"

"Really!"

Hillel flashed a toothy smile, his teeth sparkling white.

Cisco always felt that something was wrong, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

However, as soon as he entered the living room, Cisco noticed a 4K LCD TV and a brand-new PS5 placed prominently in the center of the room, with a stack of game discs piled on the floor.

Even the plastic wrap hadn’t been removed. It was definitely newly bought!

"Oh! Bro! You like playing video games too?!" Cisco’s eyes lit up, and he slid onto his knees directly, pouncing toward the pile of discs.

"A single disc costs dozens of bucks. Adding these up here, it’s at least over two thousand bucks. This guy buys discs like buying groceries!"

Hillel shrugged. "Otherwise?"

Cisco excitedly flipped through the discs. "The newly released Dead Island 2, plus GTA 5, Dying Light, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2... Oh my god, Bro, you are definitely a good person! How can a gamer be a bad person!"

Barry’s expression became somewhat subtle, and he hesitated for a moment. "Umm... Baby, these aren’t bought with the money I lent you..."

"That’s right! If you have money, you gotta buy games, and if you have money, you gotta eat more kidneys! Is there any problem?" Hillel stated matter-of-factly.

Barry: "..."

He took a deep breath, his expression somewhat blank. "So, you probably won’t pay me back that money, right?"

"I borrowed the money based on my ability. Why should I pay it back?"

What you said makes so much sense, I am actually unable to refute it.

Barry was choked speechless on the spot, and could only shed tears silently in his heart.

Forget it, forget it!

Just treat it as paying protection money!

In the end, Caitlin interrupted the conversation, glancing at the empty kitchen.

"Since our new friend’s house has nothing to eat, Barry, why don’t you go buy something back? I believe he should be about hungry by now."

Thinking of how Hillel wiped out five burgers and three cups of iced Dr. Pepper during the day, Caitlin felt a little awkward.

Alright, this guy shouldn’t be able to eat anymore!

Hillel was not polite at all. "Yeah, I really am hungry. Go buy something else. Pizza, Thai food, street snacks... anything is fine. Barry, just buy it according to your appetite!"

Barry shrugged. "You definitely don’t have money in your pocket to buy food, right?"

Hillel patted his pants pocket, pulling out a few coins and crumpled banknotes. "There are still thirty-two bucks and forty-six cents. It’s all right here."

"Fine, a mosquito’s leg is still meat no matter how small. Hand it over." Barry snatched up that pitiful thirty-odd dollars.

His five thousand bucks were left with just this little bit.

That was earned through his diligent and conscientious work!

Swish!

A gale swept by, and the Flash had already disappeared from the room.

Caitlin tidied up her hair blown messy by the wind and found a place to sit by herself.

Hillel crossed his legs directly and floated mid-air.

"Oh! That’s cool! Super-powered meditation?!" Cisco was immensely envious.

Hillel looked at Cisco. "Speaking of which, Cisco, you are a meta-human, right?"

Cisco was fiddling with the discs, and froze upon hearing this. "Uh, yeah, I’m a meta-human. Did Barry tell you?"

"Not really. I have biological perception. In my perception, the life energy and molecular fluctuations of a meta-human are much more vigorous than ordinary people."

"If an ordinary person is a faint little desk lamp, then you and Barry in this room are like two shining suns. It’s hard not to recognize you."

Saying this, Hillel turned his head again and cast his gaze toward Caitlin on the side. "As for you, you caused my perception to produce a slight error. Are you a meta-human?"

Caitlin shook her head decisively. "No, I am not! I am definitely not Killer Frost!"

Oh!

Barry hadn’t opened Flashpoint yet, and Caitlin’s alter ego ability was still dormant.

However, in Hillel’s perceptive horizon, Caitlin’s state was indeed very bizarre. The life energy in her body was no different from a normal person’s, but in some extremely brief moments, it would suddenly be elevated to another dimension.

And then drop like a roller coaster.

This change in ability was somewhat like the relationship between Dr. Banner and Hulk.

"Hey, Bro, then see what ultimate move I can unleash?" To change the topic, Cisco slapped Hillel casually.

Buzz!!!

The moment he slapped Hillel, multi-dimensional energy oscillated outward. Cisco could manipulate multi-dimensional energy, and through touch, cross the barriers of time and space to see fragments of the past, present, and future.

Because his ability did not involve mental intrusion, tampering with the spirit, or reading minds, it did not trigger Hillel’s passive mechanism.

But it was precisely this single touch that made Cisco see the most terrifying scene of his life.

In Cisco’s vision, he came to Little St. James Island. Waves beat against the reefs, and the sky was so gloomy as if it were about to collapse.

Three people stood high in the air.

The moment Hillel landed, the impact caused the entire island to tilt slightly... Then he saw a huge underground space filled with specially made refined steel cells.

What was being kept down there froze his blood. He understood at once what kind of place it was, and that children had been held in it.

The scene shifted, and the ceiling of the castle shattered with a roar!

A blond Superman instantly melted a mercenary with laser eyes, followed closely by a black-haired woman who looked heroic and slapped another mercenary to death.

As for Hillel, that was a bit formidable.

Moving at high speed, his hand blades chopped down several people in succession, cooperating with the Omega Beams. No one could resist.

The expressions of the three were ferocious and explosive.

It was only the purest bloody massacre. Those politicians who were usually high and mighty were plastered all over the wall. Cisco could even smell the stench of blood permeating the air, and he was almost face-to-face with Homelander.

That face beneath the blond hair seemed to carry a hint of distortion.
