The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel

Chapter 161: I Might Be A Bad Guy

The beginning of wisdom is not wishing for death, but no longer fearing it.

Scepticism came through the communicator as Harrison Wells intervened. "Barry! Are you crazy? We have no idea what he wants with the Speed Force! What if he becomes the next Zoom... No, he’s already way more terrifying than Zoom right now!"

Barry said in a deep voice, "Dr Wells, when I came out of the Speed Force, my speed had already been enhanced, and I even felt that the fundamental forces of the universe were on my side!"

"But you know what? Compared to him, my speed is like that of an ordinary person compared to the Flash. He can instantly kill me and Zoom. If he wants the Speed Force, he can just twist me into jerky and extract it himself!"

"Yet he’s currently negotiating with us, which shows he’s at least willing to respect order!"

Hearing Barry’s deduction, Hillel nodded inwardly.

The Talk Flash’s intelligence was indeed on point. It’s just that every season there was someone faster than him, which was a bit overwhelming.

Hillel clapped his hands, just about to pull Zoom up, but the guy had been knocked unconscious by his slap earlier and hadn’t woken up yet.

[Ding! System warning!]

In his mind, the System popped up another prompt.

[Detected that the host is attempting to alter core plot nodes. This plane has strong causal constraints. As one of the origin cores, once the Speed Force is forcibly stripped and devoured by an outsider, it will lead to plane rejection.]

[Repeated warning: This Earth is the only safe transit station. Please keep a low profile, Host, and try not to interfere with the real plot of this world, so as not to cause the transit channel to completely collapse.]

Hillel’s outstretched hand stopped abruptly in mid-air.

The System’s phrasing was very subtle.

Having been through the process of getting banished again and again by mysterious almighty beings in the DCEU, Hillel knew very well that the deities in some worlds had very high dimensions.

He originally thought the TV version wouldn’t have such big shots.

"In that case, I guess I was being a bit inconsiderate!"

Hillel quieted down in a second, acting like a good little baby, as if his arrogance just now was just a flash in the pan.

Under Barry’s extremely dumbfounded gaze, Hillel suddenly dropped from mid-air and flashed into the ruins in the distance.

He fished Zoom out of the transformer box like helping an old grandma, even thoughtfully patted the dust off his back, and faintly gave him a tiny bit of healing to make him look completely unharmed.

"Oh dear, sorry sorry! Dear Zoom, my hand just slipped earlier and I accidentally put it on your face. That was reckless of me!"

Being grabbed by Hillel, Zoom didn’t even dare to use high-frequency vibration.

He could feel the strength in that hand, which could easily crush his head.

"Who are you?"

Zoom asked tremblingly.

"Hey, no need to ask, no need to ask. I’m just a hero for fun, just passing through your esteemed place. Look, we’re all supes. In this world full of regular folks, how hard must it be to carve out a living!"

"So why fight! We might as well make peace!"

"Go home! Everyone go home!"

Even Zoom couldn’t quite keep up with this train of thought at the moment.

Are you a character from some gag manga?

The kind of entity with a very low sense of humor, but extremely high combat power?

Back when Zoom was researching Velocity-9, he had also read comic books and absorbed some inspiration from them.

The Flash Barry was left disheveled in the wind.

"Yo, Flash! Don’t you guys have a running race that decides the fate of Earth? Keep the music playing and keep fighting, I won’t interfere!"

"I’d rather place bets on both of you!"

"Uhm, if nothing else, I’ll be leaving first!"

Before his voice faded, Hillel slipped away.

Too scared, too scared!

If he left any later, he’d be laid up for the rest of his life, leaking half a cup for every cup he drank.

Barry’s Adam’s apple bobbed. "Uh! Zoom, does our race still go on as usual?"

Zoom also swallowed a mouthful of saliva, but still forced himself to maintain a villainous aura.

"Uhm, I’m feeling a bit unwell today. Let’s do it at the same time!"

Rip!

Zoom transformed into a blue flash and fled the scene frantically.

Barry didn’t have time to think much. He gritted his teeth and bolted wildly in the direction of Central City.

...

A few minutes later, Barry returned to S.T.A.R. Labs.

Swathed in electrical arcs, before he could even stand steady, he anxiously shouted, "Cisco! Caitlin! Are you guys okay? I searched all over Central City and couldn’t find any trace of that mon... Superman!"

His voice came to an abrupt halt.

Because on the revolving leather chair in the room, Hillel was sitting with his legs crossed, holding a box of burgers and a large iced Dr Pepper.

"The burgers here taste pretty good. Big Belly Burger, right!"

"Much better than the ones in our world. I suspect that years later, the burgers in my world will shrink to the size of a ten-cent stick of jerky!"

On both sides of Hillel, Cisco and Caitlin were standing against the wall with their hands held high.

Especially Cisco. The expression on his face already illustrated what it meant to be scared, weak, pitiful, and helpless.

"Barry... What’s on my neck isn’t sweat, it’s urea scared out of me!" Cisco cried out with a weeping voice.

Hillel swallowed the burger in his mouth and rolled his eyes. "Crying? Crying counts against your time too! But what are you guys afraid of? I’m just a wandering Supe and not some demon. I’m just an ordinary Viltrumite!"

"According to your definition, I’m a superhero similar to Green Arrow."

Cisco timely offered a compliment. "Then the city protected by you must feel very safe!"

"Yeah, not bad."

Anyway, in the Boys universe, there definitely wasn’t any supervillain that could match up with him.

Caitlin Snow was an advanced intellectual after all, coupled with her sensitive personality. She sensed that Hillel truly harbored no hostility, so she boldly took a step forward.

"Uh! Mister, how should I address you?"

"The Guardian, Homelander, or Baby, pick one."

Hillel didn’t care much about titles.

Anyway, when he walked outside, he used many aliases, but even if he used his real name, he wasn’t afraid of people tracking him down along the internet cable.

"Then... Baby?" Caitlin Snow tentatively asked.

"Go ahead."

Hillel took a sip of Dr. Pepper.

"Where on Earth do you come from? The wormhole in the sky over Central City last time, you shattered it with your own hands, right?"

"Emmm... I come from another world. This is a bit hard to explain, but since you guys have met Zoom, it means you’ve already begun exploring the concepts of parallel universes and multiverse Earths..."

"Try to understand it from this perspective. Suppose your Earth’s code name is the CW Universe system, but strictly speaking, I do not belong to your parallel Earths, but rather another independent parallel macro-world!"

Hearing this, Dr. Harrison Wells raised his head. "Then, this long-distance visitor, are you a good guy? What is your stance?"

"A good guy? That depends on how you measure my moral standards."

Hillel grinned.

"I have walked through many worlds. In my own main world, in the name of The Guardian, I have killed countless politicians and supe scum."

"Yet you guys clearly have a justice of not killing, which seems a bit abnormal to me, because the sins in my place might be things you’ve never heard of or seen before."

"Those guys did things to kids that the local laws would not make them pay the slightest price for."

"So my companions and I tore those guys to pieces, plastered their flesh and blood all over the walls, and even baked some into charcoal."

"Barry, if you use your morals to measure my actions, then I might be an extremely evil villain, not much better than Zoom."

Hillel looked at the Flash.

The moral standard of the TV version Talk Flash was extremely high, comparable to Tobey’s Spider-Man.

Even if he went dark, it was just minor stuff.

To them, he was undoubtedly a full-blown terrorist.
