The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel

Chapter 146: Dying King Robert Baratheon

Do it or do not do it, you will regret both. This, gentlemen, is the sum and substance of all philosophy.

"But once your feet step onto that land across the narrow sea!"

Hillel’s tone suddenly turned cold. "The hand of fate will draw a boundary for you! Two of your children will be lost, and you yourself will eventually die at the hand of a blood relative, joining the Mad King, and forever be nailed to the pillar of shame in history!"

Daenerys Targaryen trembled all over.

This was a prophecy about herself, and just listening to the content of the prophecy, her weight in it was actually far more important than her own brother’s?

But wasn’t her brother proclaiming himself the true dragon’s heir?

She definitely did not want to awaken the wrath of the sleeping dragon!

Dany just wanted to get rid of everything she currently had.

"This... This is an ominous prophecy!"

She said with a tremor.

"That is why I have manifested in the world. So, would this young lady who fears no Fire be willing to become my first believer?"

Hillel said indifferently.

"However, I will die at the hand of a blood relative. Can a prophecy be changed?"

But she said uneasily.

"Yes!" Hillel nodded. "I can help you change this impending destiny, but you need to submit to me forever. Your dragons are my dragons, and even you yourself are my subject!"

"There is no Stormborn Khaleesi, only the proxy of the gods!"

"Deal?"

Daenerys Targaryen hesitated and did not answer immediately.

"Of course, you can refuse."

Hillel added leisurely, "Anyway, there are plenty of factions across the narrow sea. I can also go support your enemies, such as the usurper who is snoring on the iron throne, or even the Little Rose of Highgarden!"

"Hmm, yes, and that Rose of Highgarden, she’s not bad either!"

"Let me think, the North seems to only have Sansa worth looking at, and the Red Witch is a follower of the Red God..."

Hillel seemed to be considering whom to make a believer.

His muttering completely shattered Daenerys Targaryen’s final hesitation.

Dany knew very well that she and her brother were now just stray dogs, and their only hope was this bloodline and that illusory dream of restoring the country.

Illyrio was by no means a loyal subject; he just wanted to sell the brother and sister pair for a good price.

And this You-Know-Who before her might be worth believing in.

"I... I am willing to submit to you." Daenerys Targaryen calmed herself and mustered up her courage.

"But can you change my current situation first? If I marry someone else, I won’t be able to serve you anymore!"

Marrying someone else!

That was indeed a bit inconvenient.

"That’s simple enough." Hillel didn’t take the horselord to heart.

"The Dothraki are wild and untamable, and they drink blood and eat raw meat. Governing them is rather troublesome; it’s better to just wipe them out."

After speaking, his figure disappeared from the hall.

...

Hillel wasn’t actually going to wipe out the horselord.

He had simply come to the North of Westeros... To be exact, on the road heading to King’s Landing.

During this time period, Ned Stark should have accepted King Robert Baratheon’s invitation, set off south, and assumed the role of the Prime Minister of the country.

These two brothers would be the first to be eliminated from the game of thrones.

First was the king; King Robert Baratheon was not far from death.

According to the plot’s trajectory, he would be gored through the viscera by a wild boar during a hunt.

Hillel glanced over.

King Robert Baratheon was indeed lying on a sickbed, hanging onto half his life with poppy milk, his wounds festering and stinking. Before long, he would become a cold corpse.

"Get out, you golden-haired bitches! By the Seven!"

"Where is Ned?"

"Call him over. When I die, I don’t want to see you House Lannister bastards in my eyes!"

King Robert Baratheon threw a huge tantrum.

Ned Stark quickly arrived, guarded the bedside, and had his final conversation with this old friend.

After Ned got up and left.

Seizing this window of opportunity, Hillel silently slipped into the sickroom.

With his hands tucked into his sleeves and dragging his cloak, he slowly walked to King Robert Baratheon’s bedside.

"Oh ho! His Majesty the King is about to go see the Seven!"

"The mighty stag of the past, a warrior who struck Rhaegar dead on the riverbank with a single hammer blow, is now going to die in a bed rather than on the battlefield!"

"Regretful? Want to change the status quo?"

King Robert Baratheon suddenly opened his eyes, his turbid gaze faintly mixed with a hint of anger.

"What the fuck... Which bastard are you, and who let you in?"

Hillel didn’t care about his cursing.

"I am your father!"

"I can cure your injuries. Are you planning to lie in bed like a whore and keep cursing, or take off your crown and listen to what I have to say for a moment?"

Hillel said indifferently, "An ordinary person born in this era wishes they could die painlessly, but for the powerful and elite, they only hate that they cannot live forever, right?"

"I can let you live, without having to watch helplessly as... someone else’s son ascends your throne."

A gleam flashed in King Robert Baratheon’s eyes.

A dying man could no longer care about anything else.

As long as it allowed him to live, he was willing to pay any price.

"By the Seven! You damned sorcerer, since you can do it, then pull my life back! I can give you whatever you want!"

"I am a king!"

"Women? Power? Money?"

"I can give you all of these!"

King Robert Baratheon spoke grandly.

"Stop talking bullshit! You are surrounded by golden-haired House Lannisters. They control many important posts, and the major ministers in the court are intertwined with them. You are being hollowed out step by step!"

"That’s why you sought Ned to go south, hoping to use your good brother’s hands to clear away the hidden dangers of House Baratheon!"

"You can give me power? What the fuck is this called a shield!"

Hillel’s face was full of disdain. "As for women... Your blonde Queen is a bitch, and out of the three children she gave birth to for you, not a single one is your seed! You still sleep with prostitutes every night for amusement, can you give top-tier women?"

"Not to mention money. The country’s debts are piled high, how much gold dragons do you owe Tywin? And how much interest is the little treasury across the narrow sea calculating for you every day?"

King Robert Baratheon was drenched in sweat from being told this.

How did this person know so much, even guessing the little schemes in his heart!

"Therefore, it seems you do not have enough chips to make this deal!"

Hillel stood with his hands behind his back, observing the military camp outside with great interest.

Sansa, Arya, and Prince Joffrey Baratheon, these three people were playing and fighting by the river, and the little direwolf was about to cause trouble soon.

Behind him, the king was as weak as a thread.

Hillel, however, was not worried about whether he lived or died.

"Your time is running out!"

"I have already signed a reasonable contract with the little girl across the narrow sea. She can pay the price of three dragons for me. Your bottom line cannot be lower than three dragons, right!"

"Think about what reward to use to repay!"

Hillel continued to apply psychological pressure to King Robert Baratheon.

"Rebel!" King Robert Baratheon was furious, struggling to get up, but it aggravated his wound, instantly making him bare his teeth and grimace in pain.

He pointed at Hillel. "So... you are a rebel!"

"Rebel?"

Hillel was amused. "According to the rules, your level is not qualified to talk to me in the first place. I am actually on the same tier as the Seven you worship! No, that’s not right, I am a hundred million points more powerful than them!"

"The gods of this realm can only manifest miracles through believers, and their true bodies cannot descend!"

"And I am a god walking among mortals!"

Hillel spread his arms, and within the dark cloak, two rays of red light faintly shone.

"Make your decision!"
