Chapter 355: Su Pei Pei
Huang Junchang couldn't help but ask,
"Mr. Qin, what are you...?"
He had a guess but didn't dare to be certain.
Qin Tuo said with a smile,
"Huang Junchang, give it your all at the Martial Artist Tournament. I think you have a good chance of taking the championship."
As he finished speaking, Qin Tuo handed the precious Great Rejuvenation Pill directly to Huang Junchang.
Huang Junchang stared dazedly at the pill, his mind a complete blank.
"Mr. Qin... You're... you're actually giving this pill to me?"

Qin Tuo nodded and said,

"Manni, what are you two doing here?"

Chen Man Ni blinked and said with a laugh,
"Qin Tuo, we were both so bored that we decided to have Long Wu bring us to Qingshui Town to hang out with you."
Long Wu shot Qin Tuo an apologetic and helpless glance.
He knew that bringing Chen Man Ni would be an inconvenience for Qin Tuo.
But because of her relationship with Qin Tuo, Long Wu didn't dare refuse Chen Man Ni's orders.
Ouyang Feifei couldn't resist teasing,
"Qin Tuo, Manni was worried you'd be hitting on other girls out here, so she came to keep an eye on you!"
Qin Tuo gave a wry smile, unsure of what to say.
'Then again,' he thought, 'it might be better to have them with me. This way, I can avoid a repeat of what happened in Ming City.'
"All right, then. I'll have someone book rooms for you!"
Qin Tuo had Huang Junchang book two more rooms. Even though rooms were scarce with the Martial Artist Tournament just around the corner, people were constantly checking in and out, so new rooms were always becoming available.
Besides, Huang Junchang knew the area well; booking two rooms through his connections was no problem at all.
Even though it was already getting late, Chen Man Ni and Ouyang Feifei were so curious about Qingshui Town that they insisted on dragging Qin Tuo out to explore before they were willing to return.
Back at the hotel, Qin Tuo got ready for bed.
It was the middle of the night. He had just drifted off when he was abruptly woken by the faint sound of hurried footsteps from the street below.
Qin Tuo got out of bed and went to the window. Looking closely, he saw a girl being frantically chased by a group of people.
The girl's face was a mask of terror and desperation. The men chasing her all wore cold sneers, clearly determined not to stop until they caught her.
Qin Tuo shook his head, deciding not to get involved. 'After all, I'm no saint. There's too much injustice in the world; how could I possibly deal with it all?'
"Hm? What's this?"
Just as Qin Tuo was about to look away, he felt a sudden jolt of surprise.
He could clearly feel a familiar aura emanating from the girl!
Qin Tuo frowned, searching his memory. 'Isn't this aura exactly the same as the one from the Jade Pendant?'
That Jade Pendant had been given to him by his father, Qin Hongguo, and his mother, Luo Xianglan. It was the only symbol of his true origin.
'No, what is going on? Why does this girl have that kind of aura? Can it really be a coincidence?'

Without another thought, Qin Tuo opened the window, leaped down lightly, and began to follow them.

"Hand it over. I can spare you and your father, and I can even have Medicine King Valley cure his illness. How about it?"
The girl, however, only looked furious and shook her head in refusal.
Zhu Zifeng's temper flared, and he raised his voice.
"Su Pei Pei, don't be a fool!"
Su Pei Pei shouted,
"I'll never believe you! Your Zhu Family is the one that ruined my Su Family, and now you want to steal our family heirloom? Dream on!"
As she spoke, Su Pei Pei raised a Jade Pendant in her hand.
The sight made Zhu Zifeng's heart leap into his throat.
Su Pei Pei's voice was resolute.
"I'll smash this Jade Pendant to pieces before I ever let you have it!"
Seeing the Jade Pendant from a distance, Qin Tuo's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
'Another Jade Pendant? Could this really be a coincidence?'
But Qin Tuo still didn't reveal himself, choosing instead to continue observing from the shadows.
Seeing Su Pei Pei's dangerous move, Zhu Zifeng grew anxious.
