If we were to use a comparative measurement, an Olympic swimming pool should be filled with a rapid jet of water. However, with my slow mana regeneration, it’s like filling an Olympic swimming pool with a one-liter bucket.

"Maybe I will experience the same thing in the future," I replied as I closed my eyes and enjoyed the gentle caress of the Head Maid’s hand on my head.

The gentle caress of the Head Maid’s hand suddenly felt like a stab from a curious gaze.

"Uuhh... why am I suddenly being stared at like this?" I asked all the pairs of eyes staring at me.

"They’re just jealous of our closeness, Liliana," said the Head Maid while stroking my head in a naughty motion.

Her hand trailed down to my cheek, stroking it in a circular motion, and then down to my lower lip. Teasing my lips with a gentle touch, until Master Reina flew towards me.

Oh, not flying; she was jumping towards me with her legs in the air to do flying kick.

Thanks to my danger detection abilities, my body screamed to avoid the swift attack, but I was held back by the Head Maid’s tight grip. If I moved suddenly, my neck would be caught and broken in her grip.

I don’t want to get any injuries or silly wounds like that; if it can’t be avoided, then so be it... feeling Master Reina’s kick aimed at my head, that’s not bad.

"Watch this carefully, Liliana," whispered the Head Maid without moving her body.

A thin surge of mana trickled down in front of me, creating a black shadow that spread rapidly before my eyes.
