Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!

Chapter 236: Sage Originat, The Lynx of Stillness

The instant Akasha unleashed his innate power, a wave of divinity burst outward.

Before him, the egg responded.

Shimmering bands of light rippled unevenly across its shell as he reached deep within—not just for the unborn creature, but for every hidden thread of potential the Ghost Lynx carried: its bloodline, its purpose, and the dormant essence of a goddess yet to draw her first breath.

His hands stayed relaxed on his knees.

The infinity symbols swirling in his eyes spun faster as a relaxed smile touched his mouth, and the extracted potential gathered before him, taking the form of a white ball of essence.

The sphere hung in the open air above the World of Beast, then settled into the clean lines of a status screen.

In that moment, only the bloodline and race of the Lynx appeared... but Akasha was not surprised.

"Pretty soon," he muttered, "I’ll have to start progressing my own bloodline."

At this point, his knowledge had a hard limit at the Divine Rank, meaning there was little he understood about anything beyond the Universal level—mainly because the Hub of Knowledge was tied to his bloodline rank.

This naturally left gaps in what he knew.

Beasts, in particular, were a mystery; from what he had gathered, they were entirely different from the usual races.

Beasts didn’t possess Stars, nor could they ever attain one.

In fact, they were more like Luna than anything else, living as direct embodiments of whatever their bloodline dictated.

What Akasha couldn’t wrap his head around, however, was why Beasts lacked Stars in the first place, and what truly defined a beast for what it was.

Pushing the thoughts aside, he swept his hand through the selections, moving the Lynx’s possible futures up toward the Divine Rank.

Variants passed beneath his gaze in quiet succession—higher forms of Ghost, each one a refinement of absence rather than spectacle: a Lynx of Veiled Silence, a Lynx of Unseen Winter, a Lynx of Hollow Light, a Lynx of Forgotten Traces.

He let the minutes pass while he weighed what each path would cost the unborn goddess and what each path would give her.

Then he nodded and confirmed the choice.

[Unnamed Divine Beast

Race – Divine Lynx (Bloodline: The Lynx of Stillness (Divine))

Age: 0 Years Old

Rank: True God (Tier 10) (Total Power Output: Tier 25)

Traits:

Perfect Stillness – When completely motionless, its presence fades to almost nothing. Any detection method that relies on movement, sound, heat, or even normal sight cannot lock onto it.

(Effective up to its Total Power Output)

Hunting Gaze – Once it singles out a target, it keeps a quiet, unbroken lock.

The longer it remains hidden and observing, the more clearly it perceives the target’s weaknesses and escape routes.

Still Kill – Strikes delivered from a state of complete stillness grow in strength the longer it waits.

For every hour spent in stillness, its total power output increases by +2, and upon reaching the ninth hour, it can unleash an attack that is guaranteed to be fatal.

The Ghost – It glides through space without causing the slightest disturbance, leaving no trace of its presence unless it chooses to reveal itself. (Effective up to its total power output.)]

"Perfect..." Akasha said as he looked at the information; he couldn’t help but laugh.

With a wave of both hands, he pushed the white potential back toward the egg, speaking as he issued a decree.

"By the authority of Dream Land," he said, the smile still wide, "I declare the moment the new potential enters the egg... its birth will commence."

HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The white essence flowed inward, and the moment it touched the shell, the change was not a flash but more like devouring.

Light went first, then outline, then the last thin pressure of something occupying space, until the egg was gone.

In that moment, a new screen formed in that same empty place.

[To form a connection with the Lynx of Stillness – 5 Million Divinity]

[–5,000,000 DP]

Without even batting an eye, Akasha spent the divinity at once.

"This damn place is greedy," he said, making a dry joke as it seemed like the verse of Pantheos would charge Divinity for anything... aside from what seemed most logical.

I mean, beings didn’t need Divinity to activate their powers or skills, but they did require it to form a connection with a beast.... Which only seemed odd.

As that connection took root, there was an undeniable sense of familiarity.

"Hmm," Akasha murmured, arching a brow, "this feels just like the bonds I share with Luna and Yume."

The thought intrigued him, and he found himself quietly pondering the similarity.

[You are now eternally bonded with the Lynx of Stillness.]

For a long moment, it felt as though nothing new had come into being.

The vast grassy supercontinent stretched out below, silent and untouched.

The wind drifted lazily through the flowers, carrying only a soft, hushed whisper. But that was only true for those looking with an ordinary eye.

The instant her birth was complete, Akasha’s gaze pierced deeper—and she saw the Lync.

She watched him closely, head tilted, gray fur that absorbed light rather than returning it, mythical purple eyes fixed on his face as she was trying to read him.

At first glance, it was no larger than a house cat, but as he looked a bit more, the truth of it came into place slowly.

The beast was massive, larger than any great cat of Earth and near the size of an elephant, its bulk hidden behind the same stillness that had taken the egg from sight.

Sitting in the open sky, Akasha felt the difference between what the world was allowed to perceive and what his eyes refused to miss, and a small smile touched his mouth as he tilted his head in answer.

He tilted his head in answer, the small smile still there.

"You will be... Sage. Sage Originat."

Her mouth curved a fraction.

It took one step and was on his head, a weight that should have been impossible and yet sat there as lightly as breath.

A soft purr drifted through the air, and Sage Originat closed its eyes, as though sleep was the only thing that truly mattered.
