Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!

Chapter 229: The Unseen Lot (6) - A Divine Beast?

The male guard leaned forward slightly, voice dropping into something colder.

"You know... it’d be a real shame if the Emperor—or any of the Imperials—" he said, glancing back at the auction, "found out you had a lover outside our bloodline."

Amber continued her act as a brief flicker of panic crossed her features before she buried it beneath a flawless performance.

Her long brown hair shifted as she straightened, one hand tightening just enough against the cushion to betray the tension while her brown eyes widened with carefully crafted worry.

Yet the set of her shoulders remained defiant, the full curve of her figure leaning neither forward in submission nor away in open rejection.

"And if they did?" she answered, voice steady enough to carry authority even as it held a note of genuine concern.

"I’m not about to live by every rule someone else decided for me... bloodline or not."

The woman guard laughed, the sound easy and rehearsed, her fingers tapping once against her knee.

"Well, I don’t see a problem with that at all," she said, her tone warm though her eyes stayed distant.

From Amber’s actions and words, they quickly realized she was like many other Loria members who wanted the throne to change.

"Because... You’re always welcome to join us... the Loria Renegades."

In the quiet that followed, they laid everything out without further ceremony.

The coalition already stretched from the Kingdoms of the Eastern Regions all the way into the Northern reaches; the North stood fully solidified under their influence, and the Eastern lands were all but theirs.

Only one final piece remained—setting the Empire itself into the perfect position for the last, decisive strike.

The words settled over the room like a mountain plunging into an ocean, heavy with the weight of long-laid plans.

Amber’s expression hardened into a sharp, calculating smile.

She tilted her head until its soft weight rested against Akasha’s shoulder, the silk of her hair brushing the baggy fabric of his sleeve.

"Then.... I’ll join," she said, the words clear and deliberate, "but only if you spare his life."

Akasha glanced down at the crown of her head, the purple infinity symbols in his eyes turning once in quiet observation.

’This woman... she’s really getting into character,’ he mused, a faint curve of amusement playing at the corner of his mouth.

[Blink (Monarch)]

Without further outward sign, he activated an innate power as he took a single blink.

----

Through his eyes, he could trigger any power and affinity with just a blink, without the need for deliberate activation.

This ability let him wield multiple powers at once.

When his eyes opened again, the Empire’s throne room stretched before him in lavish splendor.

He was now in the Dreams of the two Loria members.

Towering columns of dark marble, banners of imperial black stirring in an unfelt breeze, long tables laden with polished wood.

The two Loria members sat upon the twin thrones as newly crowned Emperor and Empress, goblets of dark wine raised in celebration, their laughter bright and unguarded as courtiers milled below in glittering celebration.

The soft clink of glass against glass and the distant hum of music filled the dream-space.

Akasha appeared in the exact center of the revelry without sound or warning.

"Honestly... people in this minor existence are so small-minded." He said as he walked the length of the hall with unhurried steps.

Though he didn’t often delve too deeply into the dreams of others, his eyes could always catch enough to see where those dreams were headed.

None of the beings he’d encountered—aside from Jovian and Sunya—had particularly impressive dreams.

"Well... Liliana’s is pretty unique," he said as he stepped up to the two Loria members.

He looked first into the eyes of the new Emperor, then into those of the Empress, and in that shared gaze he planted a single, unbreakable future possibility.

"For the entirety of your travels with Amber... you will never gain suspicions... and the moment you arrive at the Empire, you will forget she exists."

HUMMMMM!!!!

In that moment, the possibility settled into the fabric of their minds like a seed already destined to bloom.

He slipped out of the dream as if he’d never been there at all, and suddenly was back on the couch next to Amber.

----

The two Loria members... felt nothing.

Their smiles stayed relaxed and inviting as they turned back to Amber.

"Welcome to the fold, cousin."

After Amber’s stellar performance, hours drifted by in the subdued rhythm of the auction.

The faint crack of the gavel and the ebb and flow of bids marked the steady parade of lesser treasures, until finally, the last item was presented.

The auctioneer, a tall figure in formal robes, stepped into the center of the stage with measured dignity.

Upon a cushion of black velvet rested a single ghostly egg, its shell translucent and faintly luminous, as though moonlight itself had been captured and shaped into solid form.

"Hmm?"

Seeing the unique shell, Akasha immediately scanned the item.

[Unnamed Divine Beast

Race – Lynx Goddess (Bloodline: Ghost Lynx – Above Origin)

Age – 0 Years Old

Rank – True God (Tier 10)

Hidden Info – The beast within remains one month from birth.]

----

As he looked over the information, the auctioneer’s voice rolled across the hall with practiced resonance.

"Ladies and gentlemen... the Golden Age is truly here," he said, his voice barely concealing his astonishment.

"For those who remember, our Star System has long fallen from its former glory since the Great Severance War.

With our Rulers gone and all the world’s Consciousnesses lying dormant for ages, everyone knows how sharply talent has declined through the generations.

But this—" he gestured slowly and reverently toward the ghostly egg.

"I can say with absolute certainty... this is the first sign that change has arrived—the first Above Origin beast egg to appear in over fifty Eras."

He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in.

"The starting bid is one hundred million divine stones, increasing in increments of fifty million."

Inside the VIP room, Amber had long since shifted into a more comfortable sprawl, her full figure curled against Akasha’s side, one arm draped loosely across his waist as she watched the stage through half-lidded eyes.

Feeling the intensity of his focus upon the egg, she looked up, brown eyes bright with quiet satisfaction.

"So, it turns out... the Auction was not so useless, huh?"

Akasha arched a single brow, the purple infinity mark upon his face catching the ambient light.

"You’re really getting comfortable, aren’t you?"

She winked, the motion quick and unrepentant, then glanced toward the two guards and the still-sweating prince who had all leaned forward with barely restrained hunger.

"I’m just taking advantage of an opportunity," she murmured.

On the opposite couch, the three of them spoke in low, urgent tones about how the egg could secure every remaining piece of their plans.

Seeing that Amber wasn’t planning to move and noticing the genuine interest others had in the egg, Akasha shifted his focus inward.

A single mental message crossed the distance to his True Self within Dream Land—the version of him that had also stepped free of the Dungeon for reasons of its own.

[You have created a new artifact.]

[Divine Stone Generator (Divine) – A continuous generator that produces one hundred million divine stones every second.]
