Chapter 141: The Clash of Titans (3)
[Dominion of Cruelty (Primordial)]
HUMMMMMM!!!!!!
In that moment, the last innate power in Kegras’s arsenal activated without warning.
Every injury Krax had ever inflicted—on Kegras, on the countless others who had fallen during his conquests—slammed back into him in a single catastrophic wave.
The accumulated pain of broken bones, ruptured organs, and ended lives crashed through his nervous system at once.
COUGHHHHH!!!!!
In an instant, all the color drained from his face, leaving him pale and shaken.
The fierce energy that had been fueling his blows against his brother disappeared as if someone had flipped a switch, and his arms hung limply at his sides.
Krax, still kneeling over Kegras in the deep crater his own assault had carved, swayed violently as the backlash tore through him from the inside.
Kegras’s laughter rang out beneath him, wet and rising in intensity even through shattered teeth and a face that was little more than blood and swollen flesh.
With slow, deliberate movements, the larger Titan raised one hand, gripping the limp Krax by the throat before unleashing one of his highest powers.
[Emperorship Authority – Expanse of Sadistic Cruelty]
HUMMMMM!!!!!!
In an instant, the world for nearly ten thousand kilometers transformed.
The cracked sky, the broken mountains, even the air itself became a living realm of pure sadistic cruelty.
Every moment trapped within it etched fresh wounds into Krax’s body and mind.
Old scars tore open again, letting fresh waves of pain crash down, piling onto the constant, unyielding weight of karmic backlash that never seemed to let up.
His thoughts began to unravel, edges fraying into incoherence. Even the idea of endurance warped into nothing more than a cruel extension of the torment.
Before Krax had a chance to recover, Kegras flipped the tables—literally—and within moments, Krax was lying deep in the crater.
BOOOOOM!!!!!!
BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!
BOOOOM!!!!!!!
The elder Titan’s fists rose and fell in a merciless rhythm, smashing into Krax’s skull over and over.
Each impact drove the younger brother deeper into the stone.
Blood pooled rapidly beneath him as the Expanse of Sadistic Cruelty continued to grind against his existence without pause, the roles of the fight reversed in the span of a few brutal heartbeats.
-----
High above the battlefield, a crater yawned so deep that its bottom disappeared into darkness.
Only the continuous, bone-jarring collisions and the steady trembling of the surrounding mountains proved the fight continued far below.
Dust and residual power rose in thick columns that the four suns of Noxara painted in harsh reddish-yellow light.
Jovian floated high in the air, white hair drifting in the hot wind, pure white blindfold turned toward the endless pit.
He had been drawn to this place several days earlier by the violent fluctuations in fate, and what he found left him with one brow arched in mild disappointment.
’Yo... how can a rival of mine be so overwhelmed?’ he wondered.
’And why has the larger one still not finished him?’
[Fate Affinity]
Curiosity got the better of him, pushing aside any lingering thoughts.
With a deep breath, he activated his Fate Affinity.
He let his Eyes of Heaven open to their fullest, watching as intricate, tangled threads shimmered into view, each one connecting and weaving between the two Titans, binding them in ways both strange and inevitable.
Though he couldn’t see Krax’s fate firsthand, what he gleaned from Kregras made his smile curl into something a bit sharper.
"How... nasty," he muttered under his breath. "Who tortures his own little brother... and gets off on it?"
Although Jovian had no personal experience with having a family, he didn’t find the concept of brotherhood hard to understand.
A light, cheerful laugh slipped from him.
For no reason other than momentary amusement, he reached out.
He severed two specific threads—one that had been clouding Krax’s mind with relentless mental agony, and another that momentarily locked Kegras’s body in place.
From the depths of the crater, Krax’s voice rose, raw and barely controlled.
[Decree of Eternal Fortress (Defensive) (Celestial)]
"By my authority as the God of Unyielding Strength... I declare for the remaining of this battle... I become unbreakable."
HUMMMMMM!!!!!
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
The Celestial Decree hit like a hammer. Kegras’s massive body rocketed out of the trench—stone exploded, blood sprayed. He tumbled through the sky, slamming into a distant ridge with bone-shaking force.

[You have ranked up - Star Union, Tier 19]
[+10,000 Divinity]
Jovian grinned at the glowing status screen.
’Not bad,’ he thought.
He hadn’t intended to rise through the ranks, but as the God of Severing Fate, his path was inevitably shaped by, well... severing fate.
With his effortless, almost casual acts of cutting through the threads that bound entire continents, it was no surprise that such deeds fueled his sudden and dramatic ascent.
The final flourish came in an unseen moment—a knot of fate twisted and undone, a single thread that had once bound Krax to certain death now cleanly severed by Jovian’s hand.
Even though Jovian’s affinity for fate wasn’t strong enough to sense such knots, that one had sealed Krax’s fate.
However, now, what would happen next was anyone’s guess.
----
HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!
As Jovian reveled in his newfound strength, a wave of energy pulsed across the world, sending a chill racing up his spine.
Then it hit him—a subtle yet undeniable shift unraveling through the fate lines he had carefully twisted just days before.
Jovian’s head snapped up—and in that instant, the pressure intensified as countless new signatures crashed into his senses.
Dark Elves poured from the skies in relentless waves, every one of them at least God King rank, with even a few thousand reaching the level of Star Union.
Across the continents he had liberated, they swarmed like a plague, hunting down every freed captive and mercilessly slaughtering those who had dared to embrace freedom.
In this moment, his smile turned wry.
He watched the carnage unfolding in the distance—a river of blood and screams echoing on the wind.
After a moment, he shook his head, jaw clenched.
"Look, I never set out to be some kind of hero," he muttered, his voice flat.
The whole stunt of freeing those continents had been nothing more than a way to stave off boredom.
He also couldn’t stand the idea of being tied down, so when he saw so many others locked away, it struck a chord with him.
Still, looking at things now, there was no way he was going to risk his life for the ones he’d already freed.
Besides, those captives weren’t exactly helpless. Once they were out of their cages, their powers returned to them, and from that point on, whatever happened was up to fate.
At least... that’s how he saw it.
Jovian turned away from the surge, and he shot across the sky, mind already mapping the next liberation.
"I might as well finish the job... then I’ll summon that guy."
