Chapter 122: Dawn of The Endless Dream
BOOOOOM!!!!!
BOOOOM!!!!!
High above the layered Star Union battlefield, in a realm of endless storm clouds and fractured void, three Supreme Goddesses tore the Underside apart.
An ocean-like portal of swirling gold and deep indigo hung overhead, leading into the Topside, its edges constantly rippling from the pressure of their clash.
The space around them was scarred beyond recognition—vast stretches of empty void where the world had been burned, decayed, or rewritten over what had been trillions of years of uninterrupted war.
Amaterasu, Supreme Goddess of Eternal Solar Flames, moved like the sunlight given form.
Her pure white hair streamed behind her; pale skin glowed with internal solar fire.
Every step left trails of white-hot flame that refused to die. In her hands she carried a pure white sword that hummed with the weight of endless day.
Opposite her stood Izanami, Supreme Goddess of the Silent End.
Everything about her was darkness given shape—long black hair that seemed to drink the light, pale skin like polished bone, and black eyes that held the quiet of graves.
Decay and finality clung to her like a second cloak. Even wounded, even pressed, she carried herself with the calm certainty of someone who had already seen the end of all things.
And between them, newly arrived yet already dominating the rhythm of the fight, was Nara—the Celestial Mother, Supreme Goddess of Luminous Nature.
Her long green hair moved like living vines.
Flawless skin radiated soft, merciless life. And... currently, ten identical versions of her floated in a wide circle, each drawing a bow of living wood and light, every arrow tipped with pure growth that could strangle even death itself.
Izanami’s back was nearly against the collapsing edge of the realm, yet her lips still curved in a cold, confident smile.
’This damned... woman...’ she thought, black eyes tracking Nara’s multiplying forms.
’Why would their reinforcements come now.... her being here changes everything.’
For eras, Amaterasu’s decrees had perfectly countered her own, and hers had answered in kind.
Their war had long since become a brutal contest of endurance—two forces locked in perfect, exhausting balance.
But Nara brought something different—powers beyond the old equations, ones Izanami had no prepared defenses against.
Yet... she smiled.
’Well, I’ve done my part long enough. Hopefully those bastards are well prepared,’ she thought in that moment.
Over... sixty trillion years. Sixty vast eras of endless, unbroken carnage—flawless counters at every turn, flames that consume, decay that spreads, only to rise from the ashes and rot once more, repeating the cycle again and again without pause.
"Your time has finally come, you damned corpse!" Amaterasu’s voice rang out, pure white hair blazing like a second sun.
Solar fire erupted along her arms as she raised her pure white sword.
"Over sixty eras and you can finally die properly!"
Izanami’s pale lips pulled back from her teeth in something too sharp to be called a smile.
"Tch... you still talk too much, bitch."
Nara’s ten identical forms floated in a perfect circle, long green hair moving like living vines. Her voice, multiplied across every version, was calm and absolute.
"This ends today, Izanami. The Celestial Accord has waited long enough."
HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!
The pressure of her presence alone made the already fractured sky groan. Even Amaterasu’s solar flames flickered for a fraction of a second under the weight of pure luminous nature.
Amaterasu shot forward with a cry of pure solar fury.
Her white sword screamed through the air, trailing a river of white-hot fire.
At the same instant, all ten versions of Nara released their bowstrings with a unified storm of luminous arrows that filled the sky, each one singing with the promise of strangling life itself.
THRRRUM! THRRRUM! THRRRUM!
And this time, Izanami’s expression remained unchanged, her lips set in a firm line.
Then, without hesitation, she shifted, her movements deliberate and filled with an unspoken purpose.
[Death Affinity]
HUMMMM!!!!
A surge of black mist burst from her body in a violent wave, as if the very essence of endings had heeded her call.
She shaped it into writhing, living tendrils that whipped toward both Amaterasu and the oncoming storm of arrows.
Wherever the mist swept, the air seemed to decay, curling in on itself like dying leaves.
And then, in an instant, the world shifted.
Every decree in the realm simply... vanished.
The ancient authorities that had shaped this battlefield for eras winked out as if they had never existed.
The sudden absence did not stop the incoming sword or the rain of arrows—but it freed every attack Izanami had kept locked away beneath Amaterasu’s perfect counters.
A mark she had planted on Amaterasu’s soul ages ago finally bloomed.
"AHHHH!"
Amaterasu let out a piercing cry that echoed through the heavens as patches of black decay spread across her once-radiant skin.
The brilliance of her solar fire flickered and dimmed, her pure white hair fading to gray before breaking away in brittle tufts.
She tumbled from the sky like a dying star, her body already succumbing to a deep rot that worked its way from within.
FWOOOOOM!!!!!
In that instant, Izanami erupted in a blaze of white-hot solar fire—Amaterasu’s lingering power seizing its chance now that nothing held it back.
Her flesh charred and split, the air thick with the stench of burning death.
Yet Izanami only laughed, wild and exultant, as the flames devoured her.
She launched herself forward through the fire, arms wide, aiming straight for the falling Amaterasu.
"Haha... bitch let’s burn together!"
Seeing this, Nara’s green eyes narrowed, and she acted.
In a single fluid motion, her ten identical forms collapsed into two.
The remaining pair raised their living bows as one. When she spoke, the words were pure Language of Gods, each syllable bending the fabric of existence itself.
"I declare the complete cessation of Izanami, Supreme Goddess of the Silent End—flesh, soul, Divinity, and Star."
"I declare the full restoration of Amaterasu, Supreme Goddess of Eternal Solar Flames."
THRUM! THRUM!
Both arrows struck true before Izanami could close the final distance.
The arrow of ending struck clean through the center of Izanami’s chest.
No blood spilled, no cry escaped her lips.
Everything that defined her—flesh, soul, Divinity, even the heart of her God Star—vanished in an instant.
The black mist of Death Affinity dissolved into emptiness.
The solar flames consuming her body wavered briefly before fading away, having nothing left to burn.
In that same moment, the second arrow struck Amaterasu.
The decay seemed to peel away, revealing her hair restored to its pristine white, the once rotting flesh knitting together flawlessly, and the solar fire roaring back to life as if the damage had never occurred.
Izanami’s hollow shell began to crumble in on itself—only for an ancient voice to echo through the shattered realm, resonating in the Language of the Gods.
"I reject the cessation of Izanami. Her existence shall be preserved and withdrawn from the world of Kalpa."
In that instant, the very fabric of reality stirred into motion.
It rose in defiance of Nara’s decree, unraveling the ending that had already settled like a shadow over all things.
Almost at once, space itself bent and twisted around the fragments of what was left of Izanami.
Then, in a blink, her body was gone.
All that lingered was the faint, retreating echo of an ancient voice, one that had stood in quiet opposition, now fading into the sudden stillness.
Nara’s two remaining forms lowered their bows slowly, green eyes cold and calculating as they stared at the space where Izanami had been.
Amaterasu hovered nearby, fully restored, pure white hair blazing once more, her expression a mixture of fury and confusion at the voice that had just intervened.
"Nara... you seriously have to teach me the Script of Gods."
