Chapter 186: Elliot can live as a vampire
"The blood loss is immense, Your Highness. And it was an attack of the Vampire. I don’t think this young man can live," the Royal Physician informed the King and the others present in the chamber.
"No, please, save my son!" Rhea pleaded as she stepped up. "I beg you to save his life," she kept her hands joined while requesting the royal physician. Norman held her by the shoulder, saying nothing.
"Magnus, do something," Alora said as she held his arm.
"I have a solution for this," Magnus stated. "Elliot needs to die," he asserted.
"What are you saying, Magnus? My- my brother can’t die!" Alora almost raised her cracking voice at him.
"I mean to say that Elliot can live as a vampire," Magnus affirmed. "He is bitten by a vampire already. His survival chances are low. Physician Marcus is the best doctor in the kingdom. If he can’t save him, then no one can. But Elliot can live as a vampire," he explained them further.
"However, there’s a condition too," King Esmond spoke. "Tell them, Magnus," he proclaimed, looking at his son.
"What is it?" Rhea asked, controlling her tears.
"I will feed Elliot my blood. It will kill him as a human. His body will be healed using my blood in his veins and he will wake up as the vampire. Since I’m an immortal vampire, he won’t die after taking my blood. However, you may not see Elliot as a human anymore," Magnus elaborated to them.
