"Eugene’s mate has been lingering around the residence for a few days. She has admitted that Miss Venus told her to kill Princess Alora. She is sent to the prison already," Odin announced.

Madam Aubrey’s heartbeats raced and she felt her head heavy. "Why did Venus do that?" she mumbled and fell to the sofa.

At that very moment, Venus entered the house. "Grandma, I brought the dress for the evening meeting with Ramon," she said with a delighted expression on her face. However, seeing Odin there, the smile slowly faded from her lips.

Norman walked to Venus and asked her, "Did you meet Eugene’s mate?"

"No," Venus lied. "Why would I meet Eugene’s mistress?" She glanced at Odin and pondered why he was there.

Odin chuckled to hear her lie. He turned around and said, "Miss Zinnia and Miss Venus were in the coffee house earlier. Miss Zinnia has already been taken to prison. Now, Miss Venus should admit the truth about how she instigated a werewolf, who lost her mate, to take Princess Alora’s life. Zinnia has already confessed her crimes," he elaborated the scenario to Venus.
