The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride

Chapter 72: To take my wife back

"But I’m your sister, Alora. I need your help. What if the vampire princes refuse to help me? Will you neglect me then?" Venus quizzically glanced at her.

"Absolutely not," Alora promptly answered. She couldn’t use the powers of her eyes on a werewolf given the fact that Eugene belonged to a renowned family.

"He betrayed me, Alora. Can’t you give me justice? Your eyes are special to give lessons to such people. You want to see me live as a second woman to Eugene, a neglected wife!?" She questioned Alora.

"We will find a solution, Venus, which will be much more peaceful," she pronounced.

"Alora, what about the pain he gave me? He deserves to die," Venus said as she clutched the fabric of her gown.

"Venus, stop manipulating the thoughts of my wife," Magnus’s voice echoed in the room as he entered in and glanced at Alora. "Why didn’t you ask Venus to leave? Don’t you love me?" he queried.

"Your Highness, please hear out Venus once. I love you both. I cannot neglect the miseries of my sister. That’s why I didn’t ask her to leave. Eugene has a mate, and he wants to keep her as a mistress," Alora said as she rose to her feet. Venus too had stood up and gazed at Izaak, standing beside Magnus.

"Sister-in-law, that’s the matter between Venus and Eugene. You cannot involve yourself in such a matter," Izaak advised her. "Moreover, you did warn your sister before the marriage. So, nothing can be done now from our side," he clarified to her.

Magnus agreed with Izaak’s words and asked Venus to talk with her father, instead of involving Alora. "Also, you cannot ask her to burn any person. Her eyes aren’t to play," he sternly told Venus.
