Chapter 70: He has a mate, Alora
"Who fights like that with his own elder brother? Prince Magnus could have talked calmly with Brother Izaak. Whatever he said wasn’t wrong either," Alora scolded Magnus for not thinking once before attacking Izaak.
She turned around with a glass of water in her hand. "Why is His Highness silent now?" Shouldn’t he explain himself?" She peered into his eyes, demanding an explanation.
"Izaak was the wrong one there, so we ended up fighting," Magnus said.
"It’s hard to believe a 300-year-old vampire acted like a kid," Alora taunted him and drank the water. As she sat the glass on the table, she told Magnus he needed to keep his anger in control.
"My anger was in control, that’s why Izaak didn’t bleed," Magnus muttered.
"Your Highness, how could you speak in such a way? Please refrain from using such words for your own big brother," she urged. While she knew that Magnus reacted in such a way because Izaak asked him to not punish Harris Klement.
"Alora, let’s end the debate on this. I am in no mood to talk about Isaak," Magnus said as he leaned back on the recliner. They both heard a knock on the door, followed by Selvina’s voice.
"Your Highness, someone is here to see Princess Alora."
Both of them glanced at each other when Magnus made his way out. Alora followed him and found out an unknown woman wanted to see her. "Bring her here," Magnus instructed Selvina, who bowed and walked away.
