God Crafter

**Chapter 58: ledger**

He left Sector Nine's aftermath to Mira. She didn't need him standing over the cell to run its own recovery — Dess already had wound checks underway, Cael already turning the day's lesson over in his own head without anyone forcing him to.

That was the entire point of testing them. Watching them manage themselves afterward was the last part of the test, and they passed it without knowing they were still being graded.

He went home instead, sat with Mei through dinner and one badly-explained science assignment, and once the apartment settled into its evening quiet,

he went down towards the basement and locked the door from the inside

He opened the panel and made himself actually read it.

[STR: 20,000]

[AGI: 20,000]

[END: 20,000]

[MAN: 20,000/21,400]

[PER: 20,000]

[LUK: 210]

[Talent: Eternal Shadow Sovereign]

[Rank: B rank]

[Cultivation: Core Formation, Layer 1]

[Free Attribute Points: 251,600,000]

He looked at the point total for a long moment.

*Two hundred and fifty-one million,* he thought. *Sitting there, burning a hole through his pockets.

He could make another override pill. That much hadn't changed — the design was his, proven twice already, and nothing stopped him from building a version targeting A-rank's cap the same way he'd forced open every ceiling before it. But he sat with the impulse instead of acting on it immediately, turning it over the way he turned over every decision that mattered.

*Peak foundation first. Same rule as always.*

Core Formation Layer 1 was barely a foothold. Pushing his stats to a ceiling his existence hadn't grown into yet — the same imbalance that had nearly killed him once already, that the World System itself had needed to intervene to stop — wasn't a mistake he intended to make twice, override pill or not. The pill removed the classification's resistance. It did nothing to guarantee his soul could actually hold what poured in after.

He made the decision the way he'd made every decision since the alley.

*Cultivation first. Foundation before ceiling. The points can wait.*

---

He converted a hundred million points into pure energy and fed it into the solid core in his dantian, the same dense, coalesced sphere he'd forged on the rock spire, and felt Core Formation Layer 1 respond immediately — the compression tightening, the core's spin deepening, the same slow, deliberate climb he'd used through every Mortal and Spirit Realm layer before it.

[Core Formation Layer]

[ Level up → 2]

[Level up → 3]

[Level up → 4]

[Level up → 5]

No shockwave this time. But his aura became deeper his existence became denser and vast his foundation deepening further

Layer transitions within a realm had never carried the violence of a full crossing

But each layer crossing was a vast gap from the one before it his existence deepening at a scale that was unprecedented.

He fed in fifty million more.

His already vast aura spread out again as he advanced once more his strength pushing past it's limits once more

[Level up →6]

[Level up →7]

He had noticed now that the energy needed to advance his cultivation now was growing exponentially but he put that thought aside for now.

a hundred and fifty million spent, and sat with the remaining hundred million rather than burning through all of it in a single night. Even disciplined progress had a pace worth respecting.

*Enough for tonight,* he thought. *The rest waits until the foundation's ready to ask for it.*

---

He turned to the second item on the list, the one that had been sitting untouched the longest.

The contingency.

He didn't have the elemental depth yet to build the kind of sealed pocket realm he'd first imagined weeks ago

But he would try, first what he needed was absolute comprehension should he create a comprehension pill or should he create a talent that boosts his comprehension to unparalleled levels.

He sat with the idea for a few minutes before he came to a conclusion he would create both stacking the effect of both talent and pill but before that he needed to know what he was dealing with

"System"

Kai called out there was no response but he could feel the system's attention focused on him now that gave him a slight chill but he pushed forward anyway

"How many elements and to which level would I need to comprehend to create a small habitable realm"

If you're wondering why he did not just put his intent into the system to create the realm regardless of the comprehension it was because

It was freaking expensive. To create a small habitable realm the system had shown that he would need mana in the billions to even create the simplest one but if he comprehended the foundations needed for the making of the realm the only thing needed to supply was the mana to create it

Cutting the cost down to the millions.

[Ding]

[Host needs to comprehend all three thousand elements of the universe to create a fully functioning realm.

Perks: realm is solely owned by the host cannot be stolen or taken anchored to the Hosts soul

Host's realm would become independent of the real world which means host can accelerate or decelerat time inside the realm

Host's realm would evolve as the host existence evolves eventually evolving into a universe and has the potential to become a separate reality

Required level of comprehension: all elements comprehended to the elemental sovereign stage

Mana cost: ten million]

Kai's eyes widened as he read what the system wrote but it wasn't finished another message came in again

[Ding]

[For a simple realm Host needs to comprehend

Six elements: space, earth, air, light, shadow and gravity

Up till the elemental incarnation stage

Perks: simple realm anchor to the host soul cannot be stolen or taken

Host's realm can be a small sanctuary but host realm can be infiltrated if discovered by higher existence

Mana cost: five million]

The systems messages finally faded from Kai's view and even then Kai was still in a state of shock

His mind was still stuck on the fact that he could have a realm that could eventually evolve into a universe and potentially be a separate reality on its own

The implications were staggering first he noticed that the realm would be anchored to his soul his very existence that means the more he advanced through both the cultivation and hunter path it would eventually open up another path to power for him

Because since his soul would be carrying the weight of a full realm his strength would skyrocket the more he advances the more his realm evolves and the feedback would make both his existence and attributes skyrocket

This was incredible

He wanted to start right away he was very excited but he forced himself to calm down and think a bit his stats was still at a measley twenty thousand he would need to create an B override pill as he could not increase his stat for now.

Because his existence was at the limit if he should add even one stat his soul and existence would collapse killing him instantly.

He would first need to create the B rank override pill as it acts as a buffer allowing him to push his stats to the peak of the next realm

Pushing his intelligence stat to the max as it would play a key role in his comprehension but he would wait till Tomorrow as he would need to use this night to consolidate his foundation

Smoothing out any crack or imperfection in his foundation

Tomorrow he would implement his plan and get all the information needed to start this journey

He closed the panel, banked the remaining hundred million points for tomorrow, and went to bed with the particular, satisfied exhaustion of a ledger finally starting to balance.

Elsewhere the ticking of the 2 year countdown was approaching gates preparing to break and the one the beast of the sea call king was preparing something that would force the whole world to unite.
