God Crafter

The swarm had began to thin past 7 million somewhere in the seventh hour, and Kai felt the mana shift again — this was not just a beast, this one was *different,* he could feel four raw existence pressing down on everything everywhere they stepped it felt like the world was trying to accommodate them they stood just above the ocean even though the D rank beasts where still throwing their life away they made a perfect circle around them, even the waves made by them settled immediately it came into their vicinity.

These were deliberate signatures his Sense had flagged immediately as a genuine threat and their eyes held intelligence and cunning rather than the instinctual need to devour, destroy and cause chaos like the minions charging to their deaths right now.

He watched them walk towards the edge of his Domain a line of royal purple flames that would consume anything that crossed that threshold instead of charging blindly into it, now that the beast tide was almost over. What remained was whatever had survived long enough in the deep to learn caution, the kind of creature that hadn't gotten this far by throwing itself at danger without first trying to understand it. Beasts don't get their rank because they use the world system, no they got their rank because after being proven over a certain period of time that this level of awakeners could defeat such level of beasts they put them into classifications from F all the way to S rank beyond that only those old and hidden powers know. Only a few in the annals of history have conquered a genuine A ranked and S ranked dungeons and that was without counting the casualties now the beasts in front of him fell into the A ranked beast a full two realms above him if he had not elevated his existence to the peak of spirit realm and had a sturdy physique to hold him steady he would have been crushed flat by their mere existence alone they were not trying to rein it in, though it was still a bit difficult he would not show fear or bend in front of them

He let the Flame keep consuming everything that crossed the boundary. Watching to see what they'll do

Four had come first — testing, circling, patient.

But then five more came out , they were circling at the Domain's outer edge with the same patient testing the earlier group had shown. Then all of them stepped right through the flames, it tried to latch into them sensing an enormous life essence and it was hungry it lashed out but was extinguished before it could graze their clothes. Kai quickly took control and withdrew his flames because he felt that a bit of his flames was stripped away permanently.

He looked at the creatures properly for the first time.

It was larger than the Abyssal Horrors, built along lines that suggested something closer to a serpent than anything mammalian, scales the color of deep water under no light at all. Its eyes — six of them, arranged in a pattern he recognized distantly from the Fracture Sovereign he'd fought a lifetime ago in a D-rank dungeon — tracked him with an awareness that had nothing instinctual left in it.

"Hoooh" one of the creatures that was standing at the front looked up and said "pesky human are you not going to welcome us? Since you have invited us into this sorry excuse for a domain" Kai was still seating on his majestic throne made of fire that looked like something that looked like it was made my a divine sculptor it had purple runes flowing in and out and radiated heat that could vaporise a normal human the moment the person entered anywhere close to him it looked like a throne made to sit on by a sovereign.

Even though he could feel the the threat they posed to him he would not bend over backwards, "alright my fish friend what is it you want from your sovereign? If you do a few ring jumps I might give you a reward" Kai retorted with a smile that was filled with so much smugness the the scales on their body almost turned red from humiliation.

"You lower life forms die!"

A massive sea serpent emerged radiating deadly aura charged up to Kai it was so fast that Kai would have been turned into meat paste if the teleportation in his domain was not instantaneous, *fuck what kind of technique was that* the serpent didn't give him any more time to ponder as it shot poisonous spikes towards him again he had to use his teleport multiple times to evade this serpent as immediately he re emerged anywhere the serpent was there instantly it's speed was crazy "hahaha foolish human aren't you the one doing the jumps now maybe I should give you a reward" the one that cast the technique said enjoying this insufferable humans suffering.

"Fuck!, damn this damned serpent" * I can't hit it, it's scales are very hard and thick if an armoured tank and a diamond had a baby it would result in this serpent scales. I can't even slice it* Kai created a katana from the shadows enhancing it with his now enlarged mana tank making the weapon deeper and darker then he introduced the purple flame into the katana he compressed the fire to the maximum making the black katana glow with a purple hue the energy coming from the katana alone was of the charts but it seemed the serpent not acknowledge it at all and then Kai added the final piece his edict he did not know how much mana would be needed to stop this monstrosity but he gambled anyway and then. He spoke one word

"STOP"

The shadow domain enforced his will the serpent over 70 meters long came to a halt so fast if it had organs they would have turned into bloody paste the mana drain was enormous but he needed just one more opening so he used his edict in the form of intent to destabilise the mana source powering the technique for a mili second the serpents power flickered just as Kai brought down his katana towards the beasts head even when it the serpent knew death had caught up to it, it did not want to believe that it was this weak human that would deliver the killing blow Kai's katana swung and severed it's head the purple flames hungry as it always is devoured the serpent leaving nothing behind the massive influx of energy hit him all at once he pushed it again into the world system his free attributes rising into to hundreds of millions that had been one of his toughest battles were he had almost died.

And that was just one technique these sea creatures had

"Hah looks like I'm truly fucked now"
