While the soldiers were in full charge they suddenly felt the aura of death closing in on them this feeling was not coming from the multitude of beasts trying to kill them before any soldier could kill one beast the scenery changed dramatically the soldiers even though they had probably seen horrors that could break any normal awakeners well this was different this was like the God of death had descended into a mortal world and could kill them as easy as squashing an insect everywhere the soldiers looked was bathed in purple flames that would consume them if they moved an inch " wha- what's going on I feel like there's a blade hanging over my head" one of the soldier who was leading the charge asked his whole body trembling from dread then one pointed out " this flame it feels like if I touch it that would be my last" the commanders face turned grimm was she going to die before even killing one beast she was very unwilling but the pressure acting on everything was making it very hard to move. With all her strength she managed to stand and look around searching for something or perhaps someone when she could not find him for some reason her body relaxed " at least that kid made it out of here"

The first wave of D rank beasts hit the edge of the Domain their eyes burning with madness as they charged into the domain recklessly they did not even get to cross one meter before the purple flame sensing the life energy of the beasts rushed to meet them head on and it simply was not a fight at all the flames devoured them from the outside in one thing Kai had noticed with this purple flame was that though the devouring was instant to the outside observer it wasn't for the one being devoured because it took its time devouring the beasts making them feel the pain and the pain the beast were going through could not be described with words.

Kai noticed the soldiers kneeling down and were struggling this was the passive effect of his domain it suppressed anything and everything that was not him though he could remove it he extended his hand and wrapped them in a thin layer of mana and transported them outside the domain the soldiers found themselves outside that hellish scene but what they saw next made their mouth dry up they saw millions of beasts charging into the domain and when the domain was saturated a wave of purple flame the one that they felt if they touched would eat them alive,"ate?" No the word they would use to describe this horrible scene that they were witnessing the word they were looking for would be "devour" the beasts stood no chance. They would charge in again and again only to be devoured by the vicious flame it was a spectacle to see then a soldier noticed something weird a man was sitting on a magnificent throne in the sky looking like a God gazing at insects his facial features were a bit blurry "commander!" The soldier pointed to the sky "wh- who's that up there" the entire army looked up including the commander she noticed the man sitting on a magnificent throne though his face was blurry she could make out his dark hair and sharp jawline "it can't be" she said in shock she knew who that was it was that brat even though she had spoken with him briefly he had made an impression.

Kai's pov

Kai's kill count had already crossed the million mark he had checked the system [2,000,000/8,000,000+] killed and each of the D rank beast he killed when he pushed that energy into the world system it gave him fifty attribute points and he had killed over two million of them the system notifications were flashing by like crazy it almost looked like it was having a seizure

though there was an unlimited amount of free attribute points he could store he had stopped feeding the energy into the world system and he started putting it into his cultivation base.
