Chapter 72: The Overlord Tribe
Amidst the roaring crowd and the cheers of the hunters, a new holographic screen emerged from thin air before Kellar’s eyes.

Kellar paused to think for a couple of seconds. He recalled the name of his battle deck and how powerful the word sounded.
"Overlord Tribe," said Kellar in his mind.
[Overlord Tribe was created successfully.]
[Select your Guardian Totem.]
A dizzying gallery of spirit animal silhouettes began showcasing before his vision. Massive birds of prey, gigantic felines, and horned reptiles passed by one after another, but one in particular caught his attention a red bear whose body was covered in plated combat armor. Crimson lightning crackled violently around it, and its roars seemed to shake the very ground.
Kellar reasoned that picking this creature was the smartest move to avoid confusing the villagers, changing the animal would only bring unnecessary questions. However, because he was focused on the beast’s intimidating appearance, Kellar failed to notice that he could scroll down to read the detailed description of each choice.
The moment he confirmed his selection, the system unfurled the full prompt.

[Setup Completed.]
As the setup finalized, the shattered remains of the old altar began to reconstruct themselves before the disbelieving eyes of the tribe. Stone and timber assembled rapidly, shaping into a roaring bear clad in heavy armor.
Instantly, every hunter dropped to their knees as they felt their strength not only return, but skyrocket to levels far beyond anything they had ever possessed before. Raw physical power surged through their muscles, alongside a boost to their magic resistance.
However, Kellar experienced a far more drastic transformation. His red hair stood on end, lifted by static electricity, while his green eyes glowed with blinding intensity.
[Skill Activated: Thunder Chaos Lightning]
Without him fully intending it, a spear of crimson lightning erupted from his palm. The projectile shot forward at terrifying speed, tearing through the air with a deafening crack and striking the former Clan Leader’s corpse head-on. The impact instantly severed the body in two, leaving the charred remains smoking against the snow.
Kellar stared at his still-steaming hand while the entire tribe held their breath before such a display of raw destructive power.
Upon seeing the lightning spear obliterate the corpse in a heartbeat, sheer panic seized the former Clan Leader’s supporters. They scrambled back several paces with deathly pale faces, terrified that Kellar might decide to wipe them out next with that very same power. In the tribe, the Shaman’s presence had always been untouchable due to their strange healing skills and rites, but never in the history of the clan had they witnessed a priest possessing such terrifying, destructive offense.
However, the strain of channeling the new totem’s energy took its toll. Losing the direct support of the Storm Chaos Bear, Kellar’s body hit its physical limit, and he collapsed to his knees in the snow, gasping for air.
Several villagers and hunters rushed forward to assist him, but Krag stepped in front and unleashed a thunderous roar that stopped them dead in their tracks.
"Back off, all of you!" shouted Krag, asserting his imposing presence.
The veteran bent down with firm hands and scooped Kellar up into his arms like a child.
"The Shaman will be indisposed for a time," said Krag, glaring over the crowd with authority. "His house will be the best place for him to rest and recover his strength."
Krag set off with steady steps back toward the property by the lake, flanked by Marty, Lupar, Grok, and the rest of the squad armed to the teeth. Behind them, the entire tribe began following in their wake, forming a pilgrimage across the snow; no one knew for certain what would happen to the village leadership from here on out, but no one wanted to miss being there to witness the dawn of a new era.
Seeing the crowd approach from afar, Maya, Mila, and Meli rushed out into the yard with their hearts in their throats. They had remained at the house to avoid becoming a liability or being taken hostage in case a bloody battle broke out in the square; however, the sight before them froze them in horror.
Krag walked forward carrying Kellar in his arms, completely unconscious and looking in a pitiful state. The surge of red lightning he had channeled had shredded his fur clothing, leaving him singed, covered in soot, and disheveled, as if he had taken a brutal beating.
"By the ancestors! What did you do to him?!" shouted Maya, running toward them with tears welling in her eyes.
"Kellar! Open your eyes, please!" shouted Mila, rushing to Krag’s side while grabbing the boy’s cold hand.
"You said you were only going to talk! Why does he look like this?!" shouted Meli, stifling a sob of anguish.
Krag crossed the threshold into the house with steady steps and gently laid Kellar down on the fur sofa in the main room, letting out a sigh of exhaustion.
"Calm down, all of you, he’s fine," said Krag, raising his hands to soothe their panic. "He’s just exhausted because his body hit its limit after wielding divine power."
"Look at him, Krag! He looks like he was burned alive!" said Maya, wiping her face in anger and desperation.
"What you see isn’t a beating, it’s the mark of true power," said Krag, standing tall with his chest swelling with overwhelming pride. "Today Kellar stood up to the old priest and the Clan Leader in front of the entire village. He tore down the old altar, ripped the energy out of the false Shaman, and rebuild the tribe’s totem."
The three girls froze on the spot, staring at Krag in complete disbelief.
"He rebuild the totem?" said Mila, her voice trembling in shock.
"The entire tribe fell to their knees before him. As of today, this boy isn’t just the savior of our men... he is the new Shaman and the supreme Leader of the Tribe."
Maya, Mila, and Meli looked at Kellar resting on the couch. The initial anguish on their faces slowly transformed into profound awe and immense pride for the boy who, against all odds, had reshaped everyone’s destiny in a morning.
