I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

Chapter 140: The Cosmic Spear

The isolated dimension crumbled...

Its walls cracked and disintegrated like shattered glass, dissolving into fine dust before vanishing completely without leaving behind a single trace.

Old Man Darren had no idea what kind of hellish abyss awaited him once the isolated dimensional cell was destroyed.

Nor did he know how far beneath the earth his fall would end.

He had never even considered such a possibility, for he had never imagined that this place, crafted by his master, could ever be destroyed.

That hidden dimension in which he had been trapped for the entire preceding day... was, in truth, the exact same dimension his master, "Cain," had once used to imprison himself.

Cain had forged that dimension using his transcendent magical knowledge, sealing himself within it after destroying his own memories and erasing his true identity through a magical spell of his own creation.

Yet all those complicated details had become meaningless now.

Only one question consumed Darren’s terrified mind:

What would happen to him now that the entire dimension had been obliterated at the hands of this terrifying magical entity whose wrath he had accidentally invoked?!

Would he materialize beneath the dark layers of the earth, crushed under their weight?

Or would his physical form be torn apart by the folds of space?

Lucy did not give him even a moment to process what was happening or catch his ragged breath.

With a single thought, far faster than the blink of an eye...

Old Man Darren suddenly found his frail body floating in the absolute vacuum of space!

His weakened form drifted helplessly through the void, while his wheelchair had vanished into the abyss of nothingness.

Darren’s eyes widened in sheer disbelief, nearly bulging from their sockets.

He stared at the catastrophe unfolding before him, secretly wishing that this was nothing more than a passing nightmare, a fever dream, or perhaps the final hallucinations of a dying old man whose mind had finally succumbed to madness.

Yet the low laughter and muffled giggles coming from the entity floating behind him served as a cruel alarm, jolting his consciousness and forcing him to accept the terrifying truth.

What he was witnessing was not an illusion.

It was reality.

Planet Earth itself...

was trembling beneath their gaze!

The vast blue planet appeared before him without anything standing between them. He was floating in outer space, looking down upon the Earth from the heavens with a terror that seemed capable of tearing the heart from his chest.

His fragile limbs trembled, and his nerves spasmed violently. He nearly lost consciousness from the sheer horror of what he was witnessing.

Yet a powerful magical force held his soul together, preventing him from blacking out.

Lucy’s absolute power enveloped his body in a smooth, ethereal field, miraculously protecting him from suffocation and death in the vacuum of space.

Lucy turned toward him, her purple eyes glowing with an unforgiving magical radiance.

She spoke in a firm, decisive tone:

"Very well, you foolish old man... You have three full minutes for your master to show up here and dare to face me...Otherwise..."

Lucy raised her palm toward the open void.

Before Old Man Darren’s astonished eyes, a legendary magical spear erupted from the heart of the cosmic void, massive beyond anything a human could imagine.

Its broad, razor-sharp tip pointed directly toward Planet Earth.

The entire spear was composed of glowing, terrifying purple energy.

It hovered at a perilously close distance from the planet’s atmosphere, as though it were only moments away from descending upon the Earth, leveling its lands and wiping out its civilization.

Old Man Darren’s tongue froze in his throat.

He no longer knew what to say or what to do.

How could he even summon his master in the first place?

He had no spiritual or physical means of contacting him. His master had vanished, and even his traces had disappeared.

And even if a miracle occurred and his master somehow appeared here, there was no magical or physical means by which he could stop this absolute cosmic disaster.

The situation was hopeless.

There was no escape.

A lethal despair seeped into every corner of Darren’s soul, squeezing his heart between his ribs until it felt ready to burst beneath its rapid, violent pounding.

Hot tears streamed down his wrinkled cheeks as he broke into bitter sobs.

Was he really going to be the fool whose actions led to the destruction of Planet Earth and the extinction of all life upon it?!

In those dark moments, his master’s ancient words flashed through his mind.

He remembered a time when his master had been far younger than him, yet possessed a wisdom as deep as the ages.

His master had once told him sternly:

(Darren... You must remain humble with every step you take and erase pride from your heart. Never boast of your strength or act arrogantly, no matter how much power and authority you attain!)

Those words, which had once seemed like nothing more than an ordinary lesson repeated by elders, now proved to be an undeniable truth.

Yet what use was that realization now?

Everything was already over.

What good was understanding the true value of his master’s advice after he had destroyed every measure of safety and brought the entire world to the brink of destruction?

As for Lucy, she simply floated there, gazing at the cosmic spear suspended in the depths of space.

A soft, proud smile appeared on her lips as she watched the old man’s psychological collapse.

She had never actually intended to unleash that cosmic spear and destroy Planet Earth.

She was merely putting on this harsh display for strategic and instructional purposes.

In her eyes, this old man needed to be taught a harsh lesson in manners.

He needed to understand his true place and realize exactly what kind of entity he had dared to address in such an arrogant tone.

She had been deeply irritated by his earlier attitude and by his delusion that he was the one controlling the conversation and calling the shots.

In truth, Lucy was completely fed up with this planet called Earth.

She had expected the experience of "marriage" and obtaining an official document tying her to Cain in another world to be a thrilling and enjoyable adventure.

Instead, all she had gotten was one flimsy obstacle after another and a pile of utterly pointless human problems.

Perhaps it was necessary to display a little oppressive, overwhelming power so these tiny mortals would learn their place and understand the nature of the entity they had been foolish enough to provoke.

She was under no obligation to tolerate their stupidity and trivial concerns any longer.

While Lucy enjoyed watching the old man’s body tremble and spasm, Darren’s voice finally emerged.

It was faint, broken, and filled with desperate pleading.

"I am sorry... I am deeply sorry, and I beg you! Please... Please have mercy on this senile old man! Kill me instead and take my soul. I alone will bear the burden of my sins and reckless words!

"I will do anything you ask of me... anything without hesitation!

"You want to clear the names of those innocent people down below, don’t you?!

"Would annihilating billions of innocent lives on this planet really be an acceptable outcome? Would that truly be your idea of justice?!"

A look of immediate satisfaction appeared on Lucy’s face.

She considered her plan to have succeeded beyond her expectations.

Yet at that exact moment...

A voice echoed through their direct mental link, filled with sheer shock and panic.

[Luuucyyy!... What the hell have you done?!]

Cain’s voice was filled with indescribable urgency and terror.

Cain stood on the roof of the main security building, his fingers buried in his hair as he watched everything around him tremble.

Violent seismic waves were tearing through the very foundations of the city.

But the burning hell below was not the problem.

Nor were the rebelling prisoners.

Nor the military.

Nor even the earthquake.

The true disaster looming in the sky was far worse.

The enormous purple spear had materialized in the heavens, tearing through the clouds with its legendary glow.

Its cosmic form stood clear and vivid for millions...

No.

Billions of people across Earth to see.
